I stopped in today for spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee, and wow, such a treat. The spring rolls were fresh and flavorful, and that coffee had the perfect bold‑sweet kick that makes you instantly happy. The location on South Grand Boulevard just adds to the charm. It's such a beautiful area to stroll around before or after eating, and the restaurant's outdoor patio makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. Great vibes, great food, great people-watching. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. This spot is a keeper.

I enjoyed the crispy tofu and beef pho. I would get the tofu again and try something else next time. The pho was a little oily. They have some other dishes I'd try. The service was good and workers were friendly. One gentleman did a LOT of uncovered sneezing... They're a good place for dinner. Smaller and more condensed seating area. Give it a try.

So happy that pho has returned to S. Grand! The ambiance is perfect for a cozy night out with friends, and our group of six was seated comfortably. The food came out quickly, and everyone loved their meals. I ordered the rice paper rolls and the vermicelli noodles with egg rolls, both delightful. The freshly squeezed lemonade truly is fresh, and on a cold night, a warm pot of tea pairs perfectly with the soups. Still smiling from the great time out.

This place is my comfort zone. I am literally there every week, because the good it is just amazing. The best pho in Saint Louis. The service is always a top tier. The place is cute, clean and with a wonderful full bar! My favorite dishes are the chicken/tilapia curry and of course the pho. I will always recommend this place at anytime!!!!

To start we had an order of spring rolls and fried egg rolls. They were both delicious. The fried one came out a little too hot. I ordered the stir fry noodles and I loved every bite of it. It all tastes fresh and very flavorful. I can't recommend the food here any more. I can tell they put a lot of effort in making quality dishes with a good price point here. The service was very respectful, kind, patient, and delivered everything on time.

When it's soup season, Grand Bistro is THE place to be! Everything is great. Great service, great vibe, great drinks, and amazing food! I love their Seasoned Tofu, Grilled Shrimp, and their chicken pho! The chicken pho is literally 12/10

I'm so glad I got to try this place! It used to be Pho Grand and it closed down a few years ago and I was so sad as I never got to go! But now it's open again! And omg was it delicious! I got the wonton soup which was so savory and yummy. And then I got the garlic sautéed shrimp. You can never go wrong! Both of my friends got pho and they LOVED it. Now I have to go back and get pho! The place is pretty small. And it was packed! There was a wait on a Wednesday night when we went! Which means it's good! Luckily we snagged some bar seats and didn't have to wait. Keep in mind there is only street parking along Grand, which can be tricky depending on the day/time of day. But it's well worth a visit!

My daughter went for Pho and I selected the 16.02 egg noodle soup with roasted duck leg. The broth was so flavorful. The layers of flavors were a party in my mouth. I'm adding this to my monthly staple. DELICIOUS is an understatement. It was enough for two meals.

We came here for lunch on Friday. Their menu has a good variety of Viet dishes that I like. I ordered the Com Dac Biet, and my husband ordered a bowl of Pho. I didn't like the pork skin (very chewy) and egg cake (tasted off) on my rice dish at all. Service was pleasant but food was 7/10.

Pho Grand was always a go to! I am so glad they reopened as Grand Bistro with the same family at the helm! Their lettuce wraps, curries and food are always amazing! We are always greeted with a smile and well cared for by the family who run the restaurant. The restaurant is always clean and is well decorated. This restaurant will always be our go to for Vietnamese food!

The beautiful and cozy dining room.

It's still exactly the same except for a slight name change and updated decor. The owner and his wife were on the floor and could not have been nicer. They love their restaurant and it shows. He said it will always be Pho Grand to him. He helped us with menu selection and everything was delicious. I had the coconut curry. It was very good. He had a beef tenderloin soup but I don't remember the name. It was all good and lovely. Very happy they are back!!

Is the pho broth made with cilantro (soap, to us cursed with the gene)?

Most likely, but you might be able to ask them to leave it out, but I haven't ordered it before. So many items on the list.

When you walk in you are always greeted with a smile. The seating is quite close but not so close you cannot walk through. Tables and booths. Very clean and well kept. Your order can be family style or individual. Family style allows you to share tea and big serving bowls of soups. Now for the good stuff. The menu is varied with authentic or Americanized "Asian" stirfry and egg rolls. The Pho is outstanding! My goodness, the flavors of the broth, with added ingredients from chicken and beef to vegetarian. What brings it home are the side dishes of flavor bombs they serve along side: jalapeños, bean sprouts, and Thai basil. Add it to the soup and the noodles seem to envelope it all with an explosion of flavor as you slurp even to the last drop. And grab those last leaves or noodles with your chopsticks. It's worth every bite. I highly recommend Mai Lee, as it is at the top of our all-time favorites list.

The clear noodle soup with seafood had a very flavorful broth and was very tasty. My daughter loved her shrimp pho. We phone it in from the road and pick it up hot and fresh before we even get home. Frankly, it's all we really want when we don't know what to eat (travel or not). We dine at plenty of other Vietnamese restaurants (along with Thai, Korean, Chinese and Taiwanese) so I believe we're qualified to compare St. Louis' Asian offerings. While DD might not have the largest menu, it's a variety of well-executed favorites: beef, chicken and vegan pho, banh mi sandwiches, fresh springs rolls (the shrimp rolls are excellent), crispy Vietnamese egg rolls, fried rice, vermicelli bowls with a choice of protein and sauces, and more. Something for everyone. Well-seasoned and a lot of it. I'm partial to the pho combo with a surprising amount of meat. My wife is stuck on the vermicelli bowls and vegan lemon grass soup. Prices are very reasonable, too. We've been fans of DD since they opened in Old Dwntwn Webster about eight years ago and are delighted with the new location on Big Bend near Webster U. Big, bright, contemporary space. Great for families. And a good place for kids to try their first Vietnamese food. Parking can be challenging in their small lot but there's usually plenty of street and other nearby lots across Big Bend. Try it. Enjoy.
