My friend and I went here tonight. This place located in a small strip area. We both got pho. This place has limited options with only pho and milk and smoothies drinks. The veggies are fresher and there were quite a lot of veggies. The pho broth is plain. There are quite a lot of pho noodle in my bowl.

Came in on a Saturday around 11:10 a smidge after they opened. Ordered 2 bowls of pho and requested no onions including green onions and server confirmed. Took about 15mins to come out and of course had onions in them both. Not a huge deal as we just picked most of it out. The flavor of the broth was ok it just needed to be a deeper stronger flavor (my opinion). After adding all the veggies the flavor was almost nil. Overall wasn't impressed and unfortunately wouldn't recommend this place for pho at least.

Small restaurant serving pho and some Vietnamese smoothies. Honestly, the pho is pretty good and the bowls are a good size for $13/bowl (which is cheap for pho in STL). The place is family-owned and speak Vietnamese but the server speaks English. Not many decorations but it reminds me of small pho shops in Vietnam. Food is good, service is quick, a good sized lot for parking. If you want a quick bowl of pho for a good price, it's a good spot!

Wow, just wow!!! What a solid little gem this place turned out to be!!…read more Located off the beaten path, in the corner of a strip mall, right off Manchester. Started as a Mexican grocer next door that sever over the counter food...expanded into a simple restaurant next door (and attached). Absolutely phenomenal service, cared what we thought of the food (they asked everyone their opinion at the table) and attentive. Very simple and industrial, farmhouse feel...looks to be a great place for drinks and apps during happy hour too! Grab a Mexican Coke or Fanta, sample some of the best Gordita's (all of them are good) and have some fun!!! We will be back...A LOT!!!!

Tacos, margs, we are likely eating once a week. This was my second time at this restaurant. I love the authentic culture, ambiance and service. I love the tacos, tried the tacos twice now and 5/5 10/10 tacos each time. Good lord we love the margarita, I will be telling everyone it's the best one in the area. Not everyone has the same opinion of margarita either, but for us, what an authentic margarita should be, this is it. Liked the tajin straw, that was fun. I always leave a constructive criticism, please don't take negativity, just as possible improvement. Add a spicy margarita to the menu, the best ones soak the tequila in a pepper for like 24hrs and serve that in it. I also meant to ask if there was a habanero salsa available, I might update this if there is! Thanks for the great meals, we'll be back soon for that spicy margs and tacos

Our server was awesome, the meals were great, I'll start with the server, he brought us a couple of drinks and left us to look over the menu. I filled my glass with a bottle of beer and noticed the glass was chipped along the rim. The place was hopping so I didn't get to catch him until he took our food order. I showed him the glass and he apologized and said he'd be back after putting in the order. In just a couple minutes he returned with a new glass, new bottle of beer and another apology. I've had similar issues at other facilities but he handled it better, and more professionally than any of them. I did think the manager could have stopped by, not looking for a free drink just to say we're sorry... my date and I both had their version of the choose two section. She had loaded baked potato and said it was great, and she got the chicken breast sandwich which she said was very good. To drink she had a margarita, no salt, and said it was good. I had the wedge salad and it was so large I couldn't even try my sandwich. I did eat it at home and the salmon blt was very good. I recommend this place and while we lucked out hitting a busy place on a Friday night without reservations, my date beat me there and got seated when a table opened up. The host took me to the table the moment I said I was meeting a lady there. Parking can be tuff, my date parked several rows away from the entry and if it had been raining that would have been a pain. I believe the location is the old Wild Horse Creek Pub on Long road. I dressed in casual jeans and a dress shirt and I hit between the families with kids and older couples out for a dressed up dinner. It is fairly noisy if you're looking to have a quiet conversation.

Firefly was a fairly decent place, easy location to find in Chesterfield with plenty of parking…read moreavailable. The restaurant is a bit loud, but we didn't mind it, it was a busy Saturday night. Bar service was great, table service was lacking. We started with a few drinks (margaritas) and they were quite good. For an app, we got the wings with firefly sauce, the sauce was really good and the wings were cooked perfect. For dinner, we had the filet mignon with potatoes and green beans as well as the creamy Cajun pasta. The filet was overcooked, but had really good flavor, the green beans with bacon were lackluster. The Cajun pasta was quite tasty, but it really lacked protein (only a few slices of a sausage and a few shrimp). We had the salted caramel bread pudding for dessert, it was good, but I probably wouldn't get it again. Overall, the experience was okay, food was good enough. Worth a try if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Dinar Restaurant - Lentil soup

Later that morning, I decided we should go there for lunch since Ms T was out to lunch (literally, this time) with a friend. As a result, KT and I ended up at Dinar, a first time for me. I have driven by many, many times and have not taken the time to investigate. I kind of assumed it was Indian cuisine or maybe pan-Mediterranean. I had no idea. She told me that they provide a complimentary small serving of the lentil soup with meals, but we asked for a large serving each and shared an Iraqi Chicken Tikka sandwich. The soup was delivered first, and I must say that it is very good. It has delicious chicken flavor and is not really spiced in any other way, although there is plenty of salt. We loved it. I shook on a little black pepper and really enjoyed it. It is simple, yet so good. The Chicken Tikka sandwich was ordered with their Iraqi bread, which I highly recommend. This sandwich is something I would also go back for. The chicken is well seasoned and grilled so that it has a good char-flavor. It is dressed, with pickle, onion, tomatoes and herbs. It is flavorful and the chicken is not dried out. There are a lot of things to try on their menu. If I can't get Ms T to go, I'm sure KT will meet me there occasionally. There have been several restaurants in this location over the past ten years or so. I hope that Dinar can succeed.

The chicken shawarma was flavorful, as were the rice and veggies it came with. I asked about authentic Iraqi food, and was told their sandwiches come with Iraqi sauce. Perhaps I will try the sandwich version next time. The menu is very similar to other Mediterranean food I've had, and I'm told the recipes are specifically from Iraq.
