The cashier greeted us and told us to take our time while exploring the menu since it was our first time in. We decided to dine-in and relax a bit. The food was hot and fresh. Absolutely delicious and delightful snacks! The staff is friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in and the space is very well defined. The sandwiches are fat and filled with good ingredients, the popcorn chicken is absolutely bomb and the rice paper salad is very interesting. I was really in the mood for Matcha but was taking a minute to figure it all out. A dessert for later was on my mind as well. This is such a hidden gem. Im visiting from out of town and was wondering this place to stop in for lunch and a tea. They had so many options for flavors! I am new to Vietnamese sandwiches but quite enjoyed the meal. I ordered their combination Bahn Mi which included chicken, pork, green onions, and pickled vegetables. The flavors complemented each other well and the bun was nice and toasty. The meat portion was a little bit on the lesser side but for a $7 sandwich I thought it was pretty good! The taro boba was also good. It wasn't too sweet which was perfect for me and the bubbles were nice and chewy. The food and drinks came out in less than 10 minutes so I was in and out very quickly. Tealux is a Vietnamese cafe located in Ballwin, MO. This location is one of many that have recently opened across the country due to its rapidly growing popularity among customers. Their offerings include Banh Mi sandwiches, boba tea and small plates/street food. Based on a recommendation from the staff, I ordered the grilled pork Banh Mi, which is their most popular sandwich. It was brought to the table minutes from the time of ordering. In total, the sandwich measured about 8-9" long and was topped with cilantro, cucumber, pickled carrots, grilled pork and a spicy sauce. The highlight of the sandwich, however, was the crunchy, toasted baguette that served as the foundation for all the ingredients. In addition to the food, the service at this location was great! Although they utilize counter service for ordering, the staff constantly checked to make sure that all of our needs were met and we were satisfied with our meals. This spot is so cute! I have driven past it a few times not sure what to expect when going inside. The second you walk in you are greeted with friendly faces. The staff are well knowledgeable, and will offer samples if you are unsure about the flavor. You can also change the sweetness of some of the drinks. Great service and food! Love their bulgogi banh mi and lychee boba. The fruits they use are fresh and delicious! The only thing I may add that they could possibly change is the way they package the door dash delivery orders. The sandwiches although wrapped in deli paper, the bag was not sealed or tamper proof. I stopped by Tealux today since I was in the area. I got the offal stew ( Pha Lau) and Banh Mi Dac Biet. I liked the Pha Lau a lot. I haven't had it for a long time and it tasted delicious as I expected. I wanted to try other Vietnamese street food but I was so full. I also ordered the Poppy fruit tea with 50% sugar (passion fruit green tea) to go. It's very refreshing and sweet just right to my liking. The owner's mother was very sweet. I am not a fan of boba beads.... I'm funny with texture and have always found them off putting. The menu boasts a variety of hot and iced coffees and teas. The combinations are truly endless. Fruit teas, milk teas, smoothies, and iced coffees with a variety of toppings. I went with The Meadow. This is an ice tea with peach and lemon grass. These paired so well together and the flavor was amazing. There is a short menu of Bahn Mi sandwiches. And a few traditional street foods. I went with the bulgogi for my meal. The bread is light and crisp. Just know you'll have crumbs everywhere! The sandwich is packed with tender beef and fresh crunchy veggie. Each bite is more flavorful than the one before. Visited Tealux for a Yelp Elite event. This was also my first time trying a Banh mi sandwich. Firstly, the cafe is super cute and clean! I live for a clean facility. The color accents and set up were both warm and chic. The staff were very friendly and helpful with making suggestions. Secondly, the food was great and made to order. Tealux Cafe is located in a small strip mall on Manchester. It is easy to locate and they have many parking spots. We came here specially for Vietnamese street food. Everything we ordered were delicious! Love the papaya salad with the crispy rice cake! Will definitely come back. read more

My friend and I stopped by Tealux for their soft opening date to try their drinks! The interior is nicely decorated and there are a few tables to sit at while you wait for your drink. The drink menu is very extensive and has a lot of options. The store was really busy and so service was a little slow, but that's understandable given their soft opening. The drinks average around $7 pretax, which is pretty expensive too. I ordered the jasmine tea with grass jelly and without ice, because I was told the majority of their milk teas were premade and sugar was not adjustable. However, the jasmine tea itself was very sweet so I don't think they're able to adjust sugar levels at all. If you want something without sugar, it's probably better to go to another place. We'll be back to try some of their food offerings though! read more

We went to try Tealux a few days after it had been open and it was pretty good! We liked the food more than the fruit teas we tried. We had the Banh Trang tron/rice paper and it was really good. It was sealed and fresh. The utensils they have are very cute. The fruit teas however were a bit of a let down. We had the heart on fire and black current and they tasted pretty much the same. They don't have a tea flavor to them. It tasted just like a fruit juice. The workers were very nice and helpful. Parking was convenient and spacious. I love their Bhan Mi my favorite is Bulgogi and grilled pork. The sandwich bread is on point, it has that crispy texture soft inside, it's aromatic, and tastes fresh. A lot of flavor pack in one sandwich. My fav drinks are the iced coffee, islander, or Aphrodite. Everything is freshly made to order. They have a wide variety for everyone. The shop is super cute! They also have a decent variety of Macarons to choose from and a few other deserts. I am always greeted with a Hello and smile every time I go. The tea I tried was tasty(but a little too sweet). The re-usable cup was a really nice touch and I like how they use a more durable, removable lid instead of the "film" most bubble tea places use. My wife loved the style and design of the cups. The bahn mi sandwiches were tasty with fresh veggies and bread. Could have used more meat though. I was also surprised their was not a seafood or tofu sandwich option on the menu. Most items contained pork. The decor is very modern and currently decorated for Christmas.
