The ambiance of this place is absolutely adorable with a rich emerald colored green chair and couch with nice cognac colored armchairs, and a nice fireplace at the head of the cafe gives a cozy and warm ambiance as well as the beautiful Christmas decorations that they had while I was there made it a place that a lot of people wanted to hang out. There were at least six other tables with friends and family just chatting which honestly led to a really nice sense of community which a lot of places in America don't have. For my main course, I opted for the BBLT, which was an enormous sandwich filled with all the classic ingredients: bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, over-easy egg, and aioli. It was served on a wheat bun with breakfast potatoes, making it a hearty and satisfying meal to kickstart my day. We also shared a giant blueberry pancake, which was a complete meal in itself. Great menu and food was excellent. Great atmosphere. Max, one of the owners/managers came by the table to discuss the wine and we chatted for a bit about the restaurant and his road to opening Oceano. Our experience was so good we made arrangements to come back the next morning for brunch and sit at the bar as Marena was bartending. Brunch was outstanding as well. General observation: I would guestimate 90% of the seating is booth seating...it just seemed high and just an observation - not good, not bad.
