Summary: Great service, cute ambiance, average food, and good value. The restaurant was super cute and cozy and the service was superb. As soon as we walked in the staff at the counter walked through the menu with us and gave us many recommendations. We ordered at the counter, chose our own table, and they brought out the food. As for the food, I'd say that it was average. Unfortunately, the soup dumplings didn't have much soup in it, and the dessert dumplings were a bit burnt and didn't have enough filling, so they tasted like burnt sweet wontons. But the Bao Zi (pork buns) were pretty good and the best items on the menu were the regular dumplings which you can get with a mix and match of many options for fillings in your order of 6, 8, or 10 pieces. It was also nice that you could choose the cooking method for the dumplings (boiled, pan-fried, or deep-fried).

I was pleasantly surprised to find a dumplings spot in chesterfield! The staff were friendly and informative about the menu (it was a lot to choose from!). We got beef and chicken dumplings and refreshing fruit boba teas. The place wasn't super busy. The wall art and deco gives it a really nice touch. I'm not in the area often but would love to stop by again if I'm ever around!

The food was amazing. We tried Ramen and dumplings. Ambience relaxing and good for families. Board games available. Big parking lot. Service fast and knowledgeable.

What a gem in West County! I found this place on Happy cow and it had good reviews so I met a couple friends here before a concert at the Factory on a Tuesday evening since it's close. My friend and I ordered boiled and pan fried tofu dumplings to share. The pan fried ones were better than the boiled but both were tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I got some milk tea and it was yummy. My Main suggestion to make this place better is to clearly mark what is vegan on the menu because it was very confusing. I also had a greens salad with ginger dressing which was delicious. I accidentally ordered spring rolls they were ok. Dining area is ample and I thought the decor about history of dumplings was interesting!

Meatball in a baggy dough. Steamed and "fried" pork dumplings essentially identical. Bland. Almost no flavor whatsoever.

I've been here twice now and I'm very much so enjoying the dumplings. The Ridley isn't that too many they all fit.

Second visit and this time they had more staff so napkins and silverware were delivered to our table with our food. Much appreciated! Met my mom so we ate in again. Again it was dead except for take out orders. Staff was friendly and answered our questions. Mom really enjoyed her dumplings and strawberry boba tea. I really enjoyed my Poke Bowl and appreciated my ability to make my own.

Try: Dumplings, Buns, and Milk Tea! Why: I needed a quick bite that wasn't going to totally fill me up (or deplete my wallet) and this was the spot! I tried a variety of boiled Dumplings (pork and chicken) and Traditional Pork Buns with a Taro Milk Tea. My fav was the Chicken with Mushroom and Bok Choi, as well as the Pork Buns. The dumpling sauce was also addicting. Food was great and came out fairly quick. Taro Milk Tea was a bit watery but still refreshing, and it came out within minutes. Notes: Cute restaurant in a town center. Neat wall decor, including the history of dumplings and shelves of toys, games, plants, and decor. The service was top-notch as worker welcomed me with a friendly smile and provided great recommendations. Great place for a quick bite!

An amazing spot in Chesterfield! The name here does not lie, the dumpling and tea selection is great. You can choose between boiled, pan seared or deep fried for your dumplings! There are hot & iced teas, bobas and fruit teas or smoothies to choose from. The menu is well diverse & will leave you wanting to try everything!! All of the food comes out nice & hot. Note that the steamed buns do take a bit longer (around 20-25 min) but everything is super fresh! The ambiance of the place is great with card games and board games to play & beautiful decor. We will be returning to try the poke & the tiramisu milk tea :)

Cute little shop! Order at the counter or at your table using the QR code menu. The dumplings were pretty good, but I wasn't knocked out by them. Most of the off-menu soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) contained broth, but not all. A couple were already broken open. The pork, shrimp and chive dumplings were average. I ordered the Taro tea, 1/2 sugar with boba. It was delicious.

It was a solid good for me. Nothing memorable, it tasted fine, and I thought it was cool that they dyed the wrappers so you're able to distinguish which flavor you're about to eat. Although my party and I were only able to know about that after looking at the painted walls. It wasn't explained to us by an employee. The employee dropped off our orders to the table, but we were told to grab utensils up at the counter, which is where she just came from. I think this place is overpriced for what it is. I'd rather make a drive to tiger soup dumplings or STL Dumplings.

We were seated immediately, which we appreciated because we were tired and hungry. Since we already have our favorite dishes at Cate Zone, we knew exactly what to order as soon as our server came by. Our go‑to appetizer is always the beef tripe -- non‑spicy -- and it never disappoints. We always enjoy it with a bowl of rice, and the combination is incredibly comforting and flavorful. We also ordered the crisp shrimp with egg yolk, which is my 6‑year‑old son's absolute favorite. It's unbelievably tasty -- rich, crispy, and just out‑of‑this‑world good. For our last dish, we tried the crisp sautéed pork for the first time. This one didn't quite hit the mark for us. The flavor leaned sweet and salty with no spice, and it didn't have the same wow factor as the crisp shrimp we love so much. Still, it was worth trying something new. All our dishes came with a bowl of hot, steaming white rice, and everything arrived at our table in under 10 minutes -- their speed is impressive. The portions were generous, and we left completely full with leftovers to take home. Cate Zone continues to be one of our favorite spots, and experiences like this are exactly why we keep coming back.

Shout out to the astronaut upfront. I will be back!

We ordered the cumin beef, twice cooked pork, beef noodle soup, fish in chili oil, and also a beef pho (not pictured because we started eating it right away). The twice cooked pork was my favorite. Really flavorful pork belly with leeks and chili, a little smoky from the wok, and perfect with rice. I'd go back just for that dish. The cumin beef was also great -- lots of cumin and spices with crispy bits of beef. The fish in chili oil came in a huge bowl packed with dried chilies, garlic, and peppercorns. Definitely spicy but really good if you like Sichuan-style dishes. The beef noodle soup was comforting and hearty, and the beef pho was solid too -- good broth and a big bowl. It's a pretty casual setup since it's inside the grocery store, but the food is legit and the portions are generous. The #17 noodles, no protein is my absolute go-to FAVORITE dish along with the sauteed green beans and their plain fried rice is better than their shrimp fried rice. I love that they offer whole and half duck. I have to try the crispy pork that hangs along side the duck in addition to the duck. Also the prices are reasonable and the portion size is nice.
