My little brother and I came in to try this place out! We decided we were going to try a bunch of different donuts for fun! We got the boardwalk, s'more's, chocolate explosion, strawberry shortcake, the seasonal cookie butter chip, and beach ball. The donut itself was so delicious and the toppings on each donut complimented the other well. Not too much not too little, but just right! My brother's favorite was the boardwalk and mine was the chocolate explosion. The two ladies working were super nice and we had a nice chat while they made our donuts!! :)

Looking online for a doughnut place that wasn't a chain and came across Duck Donut. After reading the reviews I had to try. I decided to order online and it's pretty user friendly but it took me a minute to get it right. You get to create your own doughnut with is pretty cool. I ordered a dozen then went to pick it up. Came out to about $28 with tax and online fee. Arrived around 10am on a Saturday and it was packed. I didn't take pictures inside because of that. Music was playing adhd the staff was nice. I was in and out. It's in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. The doughnuts are cake like and it was warm when I got home. My youngest son and I thought the doughnuts were really good but sweet. Myb oldest enjoyed them as well and didn't feel as if they were sweet. I would return again but maybe to try me more settle flavors like their powdered flavors.

Little treasure shop at Clarkson and highway 40 exit. Kid friendly and great service!! Highly recommend as a fun reversion of the old kristy kreme classic style

maple bacon (left) and s'mores donut (right)

this was such a good donut, it was a warm and freshly made, and they had both the classics and unique flavors. a kind lady was behind the counter and our donuts were done quickly. the shop has a nice and boisterous atmosphere with a large assortment of ducks and a counter to watch your donuts be made.

Delicious!!! Since these donuts are glazed fresh to order, I don't know that it gets better than that. From the 1st bite, it is enjoyable. The donut is warm and soft, not dense or heavy at all. The chocolate glaze wasn't overly sweet and gave a nice balance to the cake. Very good indeed!

The location is in a corner of a very busy shopping plaza. Once you get to the corner of the lot where the store is, it's plenty of parking. My friend and I were on some major big back activities on this Saturday afternoon. It's the only location in St. Louis and a chain store across America. There were soooooooooooooo many hard choices to pick near Valentine's Day even though I looked at the menu online in advance. The ladies there were extremely helpful in providing suggestions and attentive from start to finish. I did not know this but the breakfast sandwiches do have English Muffin for the bread if you don't want donuts for the bread. So we got a breakfast sandwich, 1/2 dozen donuts and some coffee. I ordered a Peppermint Latte which wasn't too bad. To add more big to the big back activities, we both ordered lemonade for later. I ordered the strawberry lemonade which was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. When the young lady brought me my donuts, they were still warm. I took a small chunk of to sample of each donut before we headed to Trader Joe's to walk off the diabetes! My favorites were: -Maple Bacon -S'Mores -Cupid's Strawberry Cream (it had a hidden piece of strawberry in it!)

I love how spacious it is inside! Perfect for long lines of people coming to get yummy donuts. The customer service is always really good. The girls always greet me as soon as I walk in the door. I love that. The only thing I kinda don't like is that my icing always melts into The donut before it can harden. It's not a bad thing. It's just not my favorite thing. The donuts are delicious regardless!! There are only cake donuts here, so don't come expecting a "typical" fried one.

    Dozen of donuts!

A-glaze-ing. I will never get sick of using that pun, it also describes awesome places like this one! These are some of the most delicious and crispy donuts i've ever had. Not too sweet, and the flavor was noticeable. Prepare to get messy, but it's all worth it. They were also super busy! Service was pretty quick though, and the girl at the counter was very patient and quirky. It's too bad I never caught her name. What an interesting concept! Ducks and donuts, nothing i've seen before is like this. I did enjoy this shop, and I hope you expect me again!

I wasn't expecting much even though I had heard many people rave about this place. I wanted to order a safe flavor and I was blown away! I feel like it tasted more of a churro than cinnamon bun. I think because when I took a bit, all the frosting fell off. It was a hard icing instead of a glaze so not like a classic cinnamon bun. These were ordered for my team at work and a few of us had upset stomachs throughout the day. So I unfortunately won't be back. It was probably fluke batches though since this place is so popular!

What a fantastic concept for donuts! You walk in, are immediately greeted by the sweet smell of dough in the air and a smiling employee (even when you walk in shortly after opening!), your order is taken just as quickly as you can make it and they get right to work on the little masterpieces. There are an incredible amount of flavor combinations to choose from and they're all delicious. Everything is even made to order, but you don't have to wait long at all! The softness of the cake donut is unmatched. There's a few tables inside if you're not taking something to go, but it's not crowded at all. Some cool swag is also available. Coffee options are in abundance also.

First time ordering Duck Donuts. Food 5 - fresh tasting donuts just the way I customized them. I placed our order at 10:30am and the donuts seemed fresh to us. Delicious! Website 2 - not customer friendly. It appears they do not want you to place online orders with less than a half a dozen donuts. I couldn't figure out how to order 4 customized donuts so I ordered six. Extremely disappointing! Service 2 - order was waiting for me when I arrived. They could use some training on how to great customers with big smiles and ask "Can I help you".

Love the concept. Freshly made cake donuts topped the way you want! Counter service provided by very friendly and helpful staff. Menu is pretty straightforward, but there are so many options! What we tried: - Iced vanilla latte - cinnamon crunch with icing drizzle (3.75/5): Decent. Loved the donut. - donut covered in bacon, maple drizzle and chocolate glaze. (4.5/5): Wow. This hit the spot. So freaking good! Lots of open space with a small number of tables. Tables outside too!

What's up duck! Duck Donuts serve fresh, made to order donuts. They got some hot stuff! Let's start with the highlights. The Blueberry glaze with raspberry drizzle was a standout, offering a perfect balance of fruity sweetness. It was a refreshing and satisfying choice that I'd happily order again. Similarly, the Chocolate glaze with hot fudge drizzle and chocolate sprinkles was a chocolate lover's paradise. Rich, indulgent, and exactly what I was craving. On the flip side, the Lemon glaze with raspberry drizzle and coconut missed the mark. The artificial lemon flavor was overwhelming. The Chocolate with strawberry drizzle and rainbow sprinkles was decent but lacked the wow factor. The strawberry drizzle could have been more pronounced. It tasted more sweet than strawberry if that makes sense. The classic Glazed with cinnamon sugar was a reliable option, a churro donut feeling! I like Duck Donuts! I will definitely go back for the blueberry ones.

They have the best donuts in town! The old fashioned style is, in my opinion, the best. However…read morepretty much any donut from this adorable little place is going to blow your mind! Krispy Kreme can't compete with the quality these guys and gals bring to the donut box. It's always a treat to bring home a stack of fresh sweetness from here.

A Cautionary Tale (a real one, not a tall tale): First, I…read morecan't say that I'm writing a super fair review, because I haven't ever been into this donut shop. But my mom bought us some donuts from Olde Towne Donuts. I had a bite of a chocolate cake donut and it tasted fine. However, after eating a chocolate Long John, my 15 year old son informed me that he needed his rescue inhaler and some Benadryl pills, because he was having an allergic reaction. We didn't eat anything unusual for dinner. And the donut was the only other thing he ate. When I called the shop to ask if they use any kind of soy protein or pea protein in the ingredients- sure enough, they do. Before calling, I had searched on their facebook page a little to find out it if they had some special feature to their donuts- like "healthier" because of added protein, but I didn't see any mention of ingredients. When I called to ask, the girl who I initially asked wasn't sure what kind of ingredients they used, so I guess a head baker or owner got on the phone and confirmed that they used soy protein in their donuts. I'm not mad- thankfully my son was pretty quick to recognize it and was home where we were able to give him what he needed right away. Still, I caution not only customers with allergies or sensitivities, but I also have a strong word of advice to the owners: if you don't already have notices of this added protein ingredient posted in the store clearly as a warning, as well as on your website/ social media pages, I urge you to do so. It could seriously be a matter of life or death. My son has what people typically refer to as a "peanut allergy"; people who truly have that allergy are not allergic to nuts (I suppose someone could also have a nut allergy on top of it), but they are allergic to much more than just peanuts; it is a legume allergy. Legumes are plant foods formed inside pods, like beans, peas, and pea"nuts". Nowadays, there are so many unexpected foods that can cause an anaphylactic reaction for people with a legume allergy, because so many processed foods have protein as a filler (like highly processed frozen chicken nuggets). And now manufacturers are proud to boast their food item has "added protein". It is the legume protein that causes the severe allergic reaction, known as anaphylaxis. Which can often occur immediately upon ingesting the allergen and the life threatening symptoms can progress in just a matter of minutes. Thankfully, my son's reaction is not immediate- he usually has at least 30min before it becomes serious requiring immediate intervention, and lately he's been able to curb it by taking Benadryl, but he has had many ER visits and epinephrine as a young child. I have often been warned and urged by nurses and doctors not to take the risk of waiting, but to use the EpiPen injector and call 911 as soon as it is realized that ingested an allergen- even before symptoms- or as soon as he has symptoms -even if he's not sure he ingested an allergen. My point in sharing all of this is to emphasize the importance and seriousness of the matter. Please make it known to your customers in some obvious way (and certainly such that your employees would know) that your delicious donuts are made with soy protein (or pea protein or chickpea protein, or lentil protein- believe me, those are all used as added plant proteins.) Reading labels is second nature to our family, but it's so hard when something fresh made incorporates the allergen into their food that would not typically have added proteins. We love donuts and have eaten them from so many different donut shops and houses of donuts all over the country, but never encountered a hidden allergen in the dough. Let the people know, please!
