We ordered pick up from here today. We are more then disappointed. Chicken wings- we called and asked if they were crispy. We were told they were. We forgot to ask if they would get seasoned, because they taste like paper and they are not crispy, but dried to a pulp. One of my kids gagged on it multiple times. Crabragoons- ok but overly sweet. General tso's chicken- extra spicy, the spice lovers are having trouble eating it. Sesame chicken- ok, very sweet. Shrimp lo mein is the best dish, tasty and good amount of shrimp. Panda in Brookwood Center by Poor Richard's (not to be confused with the nasty Panda Express at Gravois Bluffs) is an amazing taste experience. The restaurant has been remodeled sometime within the past couple of years, so there are some eat-in tables available. The place looks really nice now. This is my husband's and my go to Chinese food place. We have loved everything we've ordered. Panda has an extensive menu that is sure to satisfy every taste preference. I love that Panda has several egg roll choices; vegetable, shrimp, and roast pork. You may want to look at the online menu before you go or you might have a hard time deciding what to order. read more

Do not go here!!!! I have been going here at least 3 times per month for the past three years. They are new owners and the food is absolutely not the same. The portions are smaller and that would be ok but the quality has completely gone down. I spent $42 and I would not eat the Fried pot stickers. They were like they were previously frozen and microwaved. So awful. I ordered pork egg foo young and it was burnt and the gravy was disgusting. The special lo mein was most all noodles. We tried Panda Restaurant (in Wildwood) for the 1st time and it was really good. We only bought Hot Braised Chicken (spicy !) and Veggie fried rice. Both were very hot and tasted delicious. My husband picked up the food and we live 7 miles away but the food was very hot when he arrived. We will certainly be back. Oh, and he said the staff was very nice there. read more

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BAG!!!! Last straw... I have spent a lot of money at this place, but 11/16/2023 (today) was our last trip. Ordered 4 large meals and an appetizer. Got all the way home and find out the Pork Lo Mein I ordered turned out to also have SHRIMP and BEEF as well. So now my wife has nothing to eat. Called, and the manager proxy (manager was too afraid to talk) says the policy is you have to bring back the meal to PROVE IT was wrong!! So now they think I am a LIAR! Their policy is no refund without proof and I offered to text a picture (below) but the whole store has nobody that can accept a text from customers. You got that? The whole store! They want me to drive 30 minutes there and 30 back while the rest of our food gets cold. They offered a credit but you can't eat credits when the rest of the meals are getting cold. I plan on freezing this container of shellfish allergen and will return it next time I'm in the area. I want my money back immediately; not a credit! This will finally prove that their customers don't lie! If you lose a bet and have to order food from here, be sure to open each container to make sure there's not something that will kill you like shellfish. read more

decided to have Chinese food this Sunday evening as wife did not want to cook. Food was not the best as before when the previous owners had the restaurant.... I had bot ordered dumplins {potstickers} since the new people took it over...the potstickers were way over priced and not the same as the previous owners made them. these potstickers were some what like out of a Sam's potstickers purchased box. ordered House fried ricew and a combo dinner with eggroll. tried leaving a review on their website but no place to do so. New ownership cooking cannot compare to the quality of the old ownership food. The only thing I can tell you is the appearance of the restaurant has been upgraded and the food has lost it's quality. read more

This spot was recently renovated and looks so nice now! (Although I carry out most every time.) I just had the Singapore noodles and they are soooo tasty! Thin noodles with the perfect amount of spice and all the meats, which were so tender. Portion size is enough for two meals for me. I often get the Spring rolls (which I prefer instead of egg rolls) and the Hot and Sour soup. The potstickers are yummy no matter which way you order them, steamed or fried. I decided to try this place after reading some great reviews. We ordered takeout and it was ready shortly after. I ordered the Chicken Mai Fun and pork egg rolls. Honestly I was very disappointed with the Chicken Mai Fun, I found it to be extremely bland. Maybe that's supposed to be a pretty plain item? The pork egg roll on the other hand was fantastic. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that the food always tastes fresh, hot, and great quality even to go orders. Sometimes with Chinese places I find some questionable meat, and places that are just plain gross. Panda has impressed me with their portion sizes and great quality of food and cooking. I took one star off because some of my favorite dishes (Kung pau and garlic chicken) don't taste like the familiar flavors that I enjoy. They are still good, but just not what I expected and not the way I like them. But the sesame chicken and steamed dumplings and fried rice are great! I'm still trying different dishes to find a favorite and I will keep coming back to Panda. I'm upgrading to 5 stars because I found my favorite dish- the Hunan Chicken. It's spicy, the bean sauce is unique and great savory flavor and there are ALL the veggies! Love it! We get food here a lot and we're always impressed with how fast and good it is. read more

If you ask me, this is the best Chinese restaurant around. I've been to some of the others in the area, and although the food is good, something is missing. Not so at Panda. Their food is great, with all the flavor I have come to expect. In fact, I think that this place has even surpassed the place back home I use as the measuring stick for informal Chinese restaurants such as this. Panda has a good selection of dishes, and so you should be able to find whatever you are looking for. I especially like their Singapore noodles, though I think they call it Singapore Mai Fun or something like that. They have special lunch and dinner menus, and if you order one of about 25-30 dishes on either, you get pork fried rice and your choice of an egg roll or crab Rangoon. You can't go wrong! Also, their portion sizes are large enough that I can always get 2 meals out of whatever I get there. Most recently, I got their Szechuan Chicken which was very good. They are fairly quick to get you your food, and although the dining area is fairly small, there is enough seating there that you could probably get a table without any trouble. The ambience is nothing to write home about, though there is nice picture of the Great Wall of China hanging up. This is my go-to Chinese place and I recommend it to anyone looking for some good, quick Chinese food. read more

We are happy to add 10% for carry out. During Covid we often gave 20% for carry out as many people did. Do ask about this when you order so that you are not surprised. read more

A place we frequent often and we like the food has just lost me as a customer...they packed a hot fried rice container right on top of my sweet and sour sauce and it melted through the lid...by the time I got home it had soaked my passenger seat with red sauce...mistakes can happen so I call the restaurant and I spoke to the only english speaking employee offering him to send him pictures of the mess in my car as well as the submerged fried rice is Sweet and sour sauce...he said hold on Ill talk to owner...10 seconds later he said too bad there is nothing we will do for you...ashamed that this is how we are treated after 20 years of ordering form them. read more

This is the best Chinese food on the planet. I have been going to them for well over a decade now. They give you really good food portions for the prices and the lunch special prices are more than fair. Sweet and sour chicken and their fried rice is EPIC. Never dined in there, always take out so can't really say much about the dine in experience but it seems fine and they just got done remodeling the inside as well. The only thing I wish they would do is be open on Tuesdays because sometimes I feel like getting some Panda but they are closed. read more

We ordered 2 entrees and 2 appetizers, but I can only recommend Crab Rangoon. Theirs was on the sweeter size but I liked it the best of all rangoon I've had so far in St. Louis. Shrimp egg rolls were just cabbage; could hardly find shrimp, Singapore noodles was too much noodle not enough meats -- we did ask to omit pork but he should've added enough other meats in place! Kung Pao chicken was ok but nothing to rave about. We live very close by so we'll be trying other items and I'll update review. read more

Panda offers remarkably generous portion sizes. Tried the General Tso's chicken, pork fried dumplings, crab rangoon, moo shu pork, and it was all fairly standard - nothing horrible, nothing that stood out. Other than the portions. If this was my local Americanized Chinese place, I'd be all right with that - there are so many worse options out there. I can definitely see why this place has a following. Recommended for when it's Christmas and everywhere else is closed and you want something familiar and comforting because the flight you just got off was full of screaming children and you're wondering simultaneously why they are so terrible and why you've never had any of your own and maybe tasting the Chinese food you grew up with will comfort you while you question another holiday season full of life choices. As often as I go here I figured I should finally write a review. Panda is very good "American" Chinese food, with delicious (and giant) Crab Rangoon, Egg Drop Soup, General Tso's Chicken, pork fried rice, and beef lo mein. As others have said the portions are huge, the lunch specials are easily 2 meals; so great $ value overall. My one and only complaint is that they don't adjust the spice level of your food even when you ask. Both my husband and I have asked multiple times for dishes to be made spicy and while they always say they will, it never comes out spicy. But this place is great otherwise, and I will continue to go as it is consistently good unlike so many other take out Chinese places in St. Louis. I just wish it was closer to my house. read more

Although i think Panda has the best Chinese around, my order today was messed up. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but instead of chicken fried rice, i was given shrimp fried rice. I'm happy i noticed before i ate it because I'm allergic to shellfish. Panda needs to make sure they are getting orders correct. Also, when i went back to get the right item, they said they wanted me to bring the shrimp rice back. I'm not sure if that's standard, but it seemed odd to me that they would want to take food back with COVID and all. Other than that, great food! read more
