We called the order in and came to this location to pick it up before realizing that we called the wrong location (which was in Kirkwood). But they were so very friendly and sweet that they made the food for me here at this location anyway, even though they already shut down, I felt so bad, but they are so wonderful to do that. Super friendly people and the food is amazing. I ordered the chicken wings, The chicken, fried rice, and the broccoli chicken with garlic. Everything was so good and reminded me of how good Chinese food used to be when I lived here in St. Louis as a teenager. They made me and my taste buds so happy. I ordered a lunch special to go, General Tso with pork fried rice and hot and sour soup. Visually the General Tso looked a little different and it tasted a little different. I didn't care for their rendition. I enjoyed the pork fried rice. I also liked the hot and sour soup. It had the right kick to it plus all the fixings in the soup were delicious. Service was quick and the restaurant smelled good when I walked in. They have about 6 tables you could eat at the restaurant. read more

Was down the street for something else and decided it was times for lunch. Found this and decided to stop in. They only do takeaway, which was fine. I stepped up and ordered the Chicken and Broccoli lunch meal. I picked pork fried rice and egg roll as my options. I added a coke, it was under $10. I sat down, answered an email and my food was ready. There was plenty of food in the container and it was very good. The lobby area could be cleaned up a little, the kitchen area seemed fine from what I could see. I would check it out again next time here. read more

This is my fave chinese food place by far! I've noy eaten in, but ordered out. I love all the fried rice cinbos, egg fu yung gravy, cran rangoon and the wontons are the best I've ever had! First of all, I googled Yelp and thought it took me to Panda Express and I thought this is where I was ordering take-out. I don't live here so it didn't occur to me that this was not Panda Express. So when my GPS took me here, I was very perplexed and then I looked at the Yelp confirmation and saw it said Panda Restaurant, not Panda Express. I wish I had noticed this before I ordered and paid in advance. Secondly, the food wasn't good at all. The Szechuan Chicken had no flavor. It was bland. The Shredded Beef with Spicy Sauce was not shredded. It was cut into chunks that resemble the shape of fish sticks. And it too was not tasty. Could be that I'm used to Chinese food from the east and west coasts, not the Midwest. But I'm left hungry. The egg roll was overly battered and too large. It was filled with what I assume is pork? It looked like raw hamburger meat. Chicken and vegetables with garlic sauce was supposed to be spicy but was more sweet than spicy. It was saucy, but the veggies were all over cooked and the flavor was blah. Veggie chop suey was soggy and flavorless. The white rice that came with it was overcooked into a paste-like-consistency. Hot and sour soup was chunky and full of the right stuff. But the broth was really thick-more like an egg drop soup than hot and sour. Mild heat but no sour. Just buttery tasting (but not in a good way). I don't know if this is the standard for Chinese food in this area, but I was severely disappointed. read more

The food here Is incredibly fresh, delicious, and fast. I had the curry shrimp for lunch although it's not on the lunch menu and it was worth every delicious bite. Super inexpensive, fast no-frills Chinese food. I got the fried dumplings, which come 8 for $5 - a real deal. They were pretty greasy and a little soggy, but otherwise hit the spot. The filling was a nondescript lump of congealed ground pork meat, but I was neither turned off nor let down by it. Fairly typical pork dumpling filling. Not bad for the price. Had hunan beef lunch. Crab rangoon tastes like they added alot of sugar and honey, too sweet for my taste. It was hot and cooked fresh, good portion. But dont like the aluminum tray they used, but guess it is better for the environment than the foam trays if u recycle it. Kinda bland to my taste. I work in area alot and was kinda hesitant to try it but was so tired of eating subway, pen station, mcd, hardees, and jack in box I thought give them a try. I wasn't going to try it due to it's locations, most food places in that area are less than clean and are just gross (even the chain places). But due to the positive Yelp reviews I have it a try and was glad I did! The food was hot and fresh and everything tasted great! (They do have the kitchen-scene you'd rather not see which I hate but other than that the place was nice.) Typical America fast-food version of Chinese food - but yummy! Great prices, large portions (we got the lunch specials, that were big enough to carry over to be dinner, as well). They have the "sweet" crab rangoon. I was extremely excited when this place moved in to a strip mall nearby. I waited for MONTHS as the "coming soon" sign loomed large. As soon as it was open, I was there that day for lunch, and still frequent it though it's not the BEST chinese food I've ever had (that distinction is held by this little hole in the wall place in Edwardsville, IL--but that's a review for another time). There are several things I love about this place which make it unique to the area: 1) it's open on Sundays. I can't tell you how many times I've been hungry for Chinese food on a Sunday and none of the restaurants nearby were open. 2) They take credit card. Again, it seems like a no-brainer, but most of the Chinese places around us are cash only. 3) They have the best crab rangoon I've tasted in YEARS. They're HUGE, creamy and very flavorful with a nice, crispy wonton exterior. 4) They have not only cheap lunch options ($4.55), but also 'combo plates' that are available at any time of the day, and they come with fried rice, an egg roll, and a moderate price ($6.75). 5) Vegetables--I haven't found another chinese restaurant that loads up on veggies like their dishes do. If nothing else, I feel like I'm eating a bit more healthily here than I do at other fast food places. Drawbacks: 1) Mei fun= no fun. I'd never tried it before and tried it here, but found it very bland. 2) if you're a fan of spices, they're a bit non-spicy. I'd recommend any of their spicy dishes if you want a good flavor, but not a big "kick". If you live in St. Ann or Bridgeton, it's a great place to frequent (or get take out from). They have excellent Hunan Beef and Chicken and Beef and Broccoli. The Chicken Lo Mein, Black Pepper Chicken and Mongolian Beef are also good plates. All of the Fried rice is great. They have the best Egg Rolls, Dumplings and Crab Rangoon's around. The General Tsu Chcken is just okay, but I prefer mine spicier that's why. And the Lady that always there working the phone and counter is the nicest person ever and always has a great attitude. Definitely my go to Chinese/Cantonese take out place. read more

Among the best hot n sour soup I've had...and as you may know that is one of the important criteria by which I judge Chinese places. The food was cooked fresh and served hot! The portions are very generous so they could easily feed two people. One of my favorites is general tso chicken. Because the portions are so big, you can order just two dishes to share for 4 people.
