Ordered delivery, haven't had chinese in forever and good chinese... so I pretty much devoured it this past weekend. * 2 egg rolls * orange chicken * beef and broccoli * 2 iced teas Everything was PIPING HOT when it was delivered. The egg rolls were so nice and crispy. The orange chicken has a bit of a kick to it. I don't usually do spicy but this was actually perfect for me. I was so full from the orange chicken I couldn't touch the beef and broccoli. The next it was fair. Unsure if it was because the orange chicken blew me away, but I will definitely order again and try some new things! I need to mention that the fortune cookies were also so good! Finally our search for a good Chineese restaurant is over. Dynasty is delicious and everything we've been searching for. Our usual chineese restaurant was sold to new owners last summer in Wildwood and the food is not good. I'm so tired of this new way Chineese food is being made... so thick and pastey. Yuk! Dynasty is the way it should be. Very flavorful with a nice abundant gravy. Literally we have tried every Chineese restaurant down Manchester from Wildwood to Manchester as well as Manchester to Clayton Rd. We also have tried several in Eureka. They all sucked until we tried Dynasty. It's everything Chineese food should be and they still use the white paper cartons in which Chineese should be served. So thank you Dynasty! The Asian man who waited on my wife was very disrespectful and yelled at her and this is the second time he has done this. I did not say anything the first time he mistreated my wife. I almost went up there this time to give him a piece of my mind. He was CHEAP in giving her Sauces - Soy and Sweet Sauce. He yelled at her and got mad because she asked for 3 soy and 3 sweet sauce packets. He acted like the sauces were worth a million dollars. I will gladly pay for the sauces if he is that desperate. I went to Dynasty to try the Hot and Sour Soup based on a friends high praises. I ordered a large Hot and Sour Soup and a small Mongolian Beef. It came with white rice and wonton crunchies for the soup. The soup was a little different than the Hot and Sour Soup at most restaurants. No brown color, no pork, and no strange mushrooms. It had a pretty hefty amount of vinegar in it which I like. There was some tofu and egg. I liked it. The Mongolian Beef was no big deal. I thought it was a little tough and there was entirely too many onions and too little beef. If I went back it would be for the soup. read more

We received one of those coupon packets in the mail and it included a coupon for Dynasty. We bemoan the lack of a good Chinese restaurant in West County. We keep looking but they are generally mediocre or just OK. We had never tried Dynasty and it is fairly close. We ordered Broccoli Chicken for Ms T and Hunan Chicken for me, extra spicy. We ordered fried rice which gave us a ton of rice since white rice also came with it. I guess they either don't substitute and upcharge or did not understand. I also ordered Potstickers. Our dishes were ordered as "half" orders but were still very generous. Each half order easily made two meals for us. We agreed this is very bland food. The Chicken and Broccoli was in the white sauce that you get with Moo Goo Gaipan. The chicken was thinly sliced breast meat and was dried out to sawdust consistency and had no flavor in the meat. This dish was essentially tasteless and the chicken was inedible. My extra spicy Hunan Chicken was just slightly spicy. It had a little more flavor than the Chicken and Broccoli but not much. The sauce was slightly darker than the chicken but also nearly tasteless. I had to add Sambal Oolek and Kikkoman to make it taste like anything. The chicken was dark meat and that made it better than the Chicken and Broccoli. Ms T liked the Crab Rangoon that came with our dinners, but the Potstickers were in a very heavy, doughy, underfried wrapper. Dynasty has been taken off our list as a result of this meal. The food simply is not well flavored. We tend to prefer dishes with the richer, dark sauces rather than the wall-paper paste clear ones or the pancake syrup sweet ones. Dynasty just is not where it needs to be with their seasonings. The portions were good and preparation was generally good with the exception for the chicken breast. read more

I agree with one of the other reviews that the flavor is off. The food is not good quality anymore and the seasoning very weak. We have been going about a year and the quality has gone steadily down. I feel bad giving a bad review, because of the pandemic. It's a difficult time for everyone. Otherwise I'd have given two stars. We got two entrees, vegetable egg rolls, crab rangoon and egg drop soup. All poor quality, very little flavor. On the positive side, they get the order correct every time (even substitutions), they are pleasant on the phone, and the food it hot. It's just not very good. read more

I've read reviews about people complaining about the seasoning... Any more seasoning and you might as well down bottles of soy sauce! Everything I've ordered was hot, cooked well and seasoned just fine. Let's face it, this is a take-out restaurant... not some $20/entree joint. Okay, so I'll start out by saying I like my takeout Chinese flavorful and don't mind if it's greasy. The kind of stuff you get in the old North St. Louis joints, where it tastes really good, but you can't be sure of the meat's pedigree. I didn't think to pick up Chinese takeout by work (in the hood), So I thought I'd give Dynasty Chinese Restaurant a try. There are other places near home, but this one was on my way to Wildwood. In retrospect, perhaps I should have been forewarned when it was not an Asian (at least no accent) that answered the phone. At least they told me 20 minutes for pick up, rather than the standard "10 minute!" you get elsewhere. I get there to pick it up.and the cashier is some European guy - same one that took my roder - but there are an older Asian man and woman in back. This place is truly only takeout or delivery. There is only a counter, and a few chairs to wait in. No big deal, nothing of note. Seems to me it should be pretty hard to mess up Chinese takeout. However, a lot of my order's items were just pretty bland. My combination fried rice was decent. Meat could have been a little more seasoned, though. The wife's beef with broccoli was just "bland," in her description. Too bad, since it's her favorite entree. Fried won ton appetizer was terrible. Very, very dry. I know these tend to run dry, but still.... However, I thought the crab rangoon appetizer was pretty good. Still hot and crispy from the fryer, with a generous amount of cream cheese. Didn't really notice any crab - but that seems typical any more. One nice thing is that Dynasty regularly puts coupons in the mailers. So my crab rangoon appetizer was free with coupon (for $15 purchase - pretty easy to reach). And they have several other coupons: $1 off any purchase $10+, $3 off any purchase $20+, free large order fried rice with any purchase $22+, free entree with any purchase $25+. But you gotta want the food to make use of coupons. Unfortunately, while not terrible, it is too easy for me to get better Chinese takeout than here. read more

We are new to the area and I'd give zero stars if I could. DyNASTY is more like it. So frustrating because all I wanted to do is have a meal with my family after a long day. However, I pitched $40.00 worth of food and was highly disappointed with the food quality. In my opinion, beef is not suppose to be the consistency of mush (for lack of better comparison--my teeth sank into the meat like Bologna, spam, Vienna Sausage or canned dog food). The chicken had a strange texture as well. The steamed pot stickers were ok. The Crab Rangoon was oily and left a weird favor aftertaste. Check the total on your bill! This place is cash/check only and they seem to not put any effort in calculating the total. Over the phone they tell you one price and the delivery guy asked for $5 on top of the total given on the phone. Not the first time this has happened. Be sure if you use a coupon you confirm they discount it also. After I paid and ate, I did the math, added tax, and a standard $2-3 delivery charge which was came to $25. Dynasty is OK by me. I am not saying this award winning chinese food, but it is solid takeout. Dynasty does their apps really well. The potstickers, egg rolls and crab rangoon are tasty. I have also really enjoyed their chicken with hot garlic as well as their hot braised chicken as well. An additional added bonus is that if you ask them to add more heat to your dish, they will! Just be careful as those tiny dried peppers will slap you around if you let them! read more

Awful. On Sunday 12-10, I called at 6:45 to place an order for delivery. At 7:00, after a couple other attempts, someone finally answered. I asked them about my order and he said they are just cooking it now, hour and 15 min later. This after being told it would be delivered within 45 min. 2 stars is generous. Cash only. Egg rolls average. Egg drop and hot and sour soup severely watered down. Crab ragoons were cold and pasty. Signature dish sate shrimp mandarin featured mushy shrimp, just a horrible texture. Sweet and sour chicken wasn't crisp. The batter on chicken was soggy. I'd say I order from this place about once a month or so. Half the time I get delivery and the other half I pick up as it's close to my home. The food is always hot and good. I usually stick to the basics, sweet & sour chicken, chicken lo mein, crab rangoon, etc. Today I placed an order for delivery and the guy unfortunately didn't have the correct amount of change. He was only $2 off so I didn't care that much but it also meant he got a pretty hefty tip on top of the 20% I tipped him. I just told him whenever he gets around to it just drop it off in the mailbox. Not 15-20 minutes later the doorbell rang and he was back with the $2. Now that is good service. I told him I wasn't that worried over the $2 but really did appreciate the honest and quick service. Watched the "chief" fill the order for low main with his bare hands (no gloves, tongs, fork, etc.) by reaching into a premade/sauced noddle bowl and pulling some of it out into my container and then reached into another bowl with his bare hands and tossed in some chicken pieces ... you could see the sauce dripping from his fingers. He then filled the container with some more noodles ... I guess he thought it was too full because he reached into my container with his bare hand and pulled some of the noodles out and put them back into his premade noodle bowl ... then fluffed the noodles in my container with his bare fingers. That's ok because he wiped them on his apron and pants before he went to fill the next item ... once again using his uncleaned bare hands. Yuck! read more

Dynasty is my classic, no-frills, and favorite Chinese takeout spot. There are no tables at the location, it is simply a takeout and delivery place. Their prices are low and like another reviewer said, they don't skimp on the portions. Their fried rice is excellent (any variety, but I usually go for the vegetable fried rice). Their boneless hot-braised chicken is the best of anywhere I've tried. It's not too sweet and there is not a ton of fried batter on the chicken. And if you're in the mood for something sweeter, their empress chicken is excellent. For appetizers, I always get the potstickers, crab rangoon, and hot-and-sour soup. Even though I live pretty far away from this location, I always find myself making the trek to pickup from Dynasty. I've been getting takeout from Dynasty for about 15 years now and still haven't found better takeout. Be sure to bring cash (or check), no credit cards. read more

We just moved out of the city and into chesterfield and wanted something quick and easy. We saw 88 china and this and decided we would give it a shot. It only had 2 reviews so we were timid but one review was very compelling so I convinced my dad to order it. And I can say that I thought it was very good.
