I went with another friend on a Monday night and it was very calm and relaxing. The service was great. They have QR codes to order, or the server can take your order. The food came out quick! That's my first time having curry dumplings and I really liked it! The pad see ew was awesome, I'd definitely order it again.

Dinner after work with some friends. Much needed after our crazy week and the threat of snow on the horizon. I started with a Thai Iced Tea, perfect balance of sweet and flavor. Our table had soup, spring rolls, pad see yu, and green curry vegetables with tofu. Two opted for the coconut curry soup with chicken and one lemon grass with shrimp. I had the coconut soup, very flavorful. It did have some fibrous round straw like items that were hard to chew but not off putting enough to stop me from finishing the bowl. We did family style by ordering two entrees and sharing, there was plenty of food to go around and we had left overs. The two entrees we picked was the Claypot Green Curry Vegetable with tofu, it arrived to the table still boiling: the other dish was Pad See Yu, chicken and rice noodles. The Pad See Yu was my favorite. We sat and visited for a while enjoying the comfort of the restaurant. Plenty of tables to host a group, but I would probably call ahead for a group over 8-10, there is limited seating. The staff were friendly and helpful in us getting the perfect meal. If Thai is one of your top cuisines put this location on your "let's visit" list. They do not have menus, they use the QR code found on the table.

There was an Asian theme to the decor. The place was very clean. The service was good. They only offer scan code menus. I would have preferred a paper menu. The food was tasty. I had the Thai Sawadee Chicken. It was delicious. The broccoli was prepared just right. The server did a good job of helping us. I'm looking forward to trying other items on the menu. They have a bar and limited parking.

This cute little space has a great selection of delicious Thai offerings. I enjoyed my Thai chicken in curry sauce and my companion enjoyed beef basil. I also really liked my Thai iced tea. The dishes were spiced accurately to our requests and were very tasty. Our server was attentive and helpful. I don't enjoy the QR code menu, I wish they would bring back paper menus but that doesn't take away from the yummy food!

Huge portions. Steamy plates. Speedy service. Clean silverware. When you come to this place, be prepared to EAT. Order * 2 thai iced teas * crispy spring rolls - app * pineapple fried rice (spicy level 2) * tofu veggie platter (different name, cannot remember) * pad see yu Scan the QR code to open up the menu on your phone, it's not brain surgery, although it took dial-up-speed time to load. I didn't really care though because I'm the type to look up a menu ahead of time to decide what I want. I did notice that a party that arrived after us was served first, but I completely disregarded this since our service time was not hindered at all even though it looked like there were only 2 women serving and bussing at the same time. Wow, please give these women a raise!! We got our drinks pretty fast and our spring rolls came out soon after and they were piping hot! It's like they rolled it out of the oil and onto our table, which is fabulous. The tea was a perfect blend of tea and cream. The spices were not overwhelming and it wasn't too sweet. The spring rolls were crispy, flavorful, and I am not sure what sauce was brought out to us. Maybe a thai version of sweet and sour- whatever it was it was good! More of a liquid consistency than the thicker one with obvious chili flakes in it that I'm used to. Our entrees came out soon enough, and again the steam was just coming off the food. I know that may be odd to point out given that, well yeah, they just made your food, but it just goes to show how fresh they made it and they didn't just microwave a bunch of ingredients. Unless they did, I can't tell lol but it all tasted fresh to me! The pad see yu was good. It didn't have a forceful punch of flavor. Perhaps because I chose it with no spicy level? It was a solid good. The portion was H U G E. Definitely a family serving. I will be eating these left overs for a couple days! It's also worth mentioning that the silverware was noticeably clean. Usually I will always feel the need to give it a few wipes with my napkin. However. there were no water stains, no chips or dents, minimal scratches, but they looked barely used and shiny.

Both dishes I've tried were delicious. The staff is really friendly. The price is reasonable for the large portions; I never leave without leftovers. Today was cold & the noodle soup was exactly what I needed to warm up. Fresh cilantro & green onion. I was reluctant when I read ground chicken, but it was so tender and full of flavor. Great dish all around The curry chicken noodle dish was spicy but really good as I remember it from my last visit.

I'm extremely upset with this restaurant. I usually go here once a week because it was my favorite Thai but will never go again. I usually go alone for lunch and seat by the window. Today when I walked I asked for the same table and the waiter told me no because that was for more than one customer. The table he gave me was the same number of chairs. I told him but that's the same number of chairs I just like the window but he said sorry no you can't. That's extremely disappointing. Will never go back! So I felt without eating but went to spend my money at the restaurant next door!

Favorite Thai spot in STL. Have tried all the others however Thai Sawadee is consistent with their top notch food quality and good energy. Other Thai restaurants sometimes use stale and rubbery meat in their meals however the beef drunken noodles here are very tender 10/10 quality every time with very generous portions and friendly staff. Even when we order to-go, the portions are extremely generous Comfortable environment and great ambiance for date or even big group

We were all getting tired of bar food and steakhouses so I suggested Thai for our last dinner in St. Louis and it was a success story, thanks to Thai Sawadee. Everyone loved their dishes. We started off with some potstickers and thai fresh spring rolls. The potstickers were to be dipped in a mouthwatering curry sauce which made all the difference to what would be an otherwise mundane experience. The rolls weren't your typical summer or spring rolls - fried tofu, mung beans, cucumbers, rolled into rice paper and topped off with hoison sauce - was interesting to say the least. I enjoyed it as it tasted healthy and light. I ordered the sea scallops in garlic & pepper sauce - wok tossed sea scallops with fresh garlic, black pepper, sweet green beans, carrots, topped with crispy garlic. I also added an order of steamed vegetables to the dish so I didn't chow down on too much rice and it was pretty good. Nothing to complain of. Everyone else raved about their dishes. I had a taste of the pad ki mao and it was scrumptiously sweet and well balanced with soy sauce. The eggplant dish was a bit too sweet but the veggies were cooked well.

I love this place as a quick sit down lunch during the work week. The prices are reasonable, the staff is very friendly and the food is amazing. I haven't had anything I didn't like but my favorites are Spicy Basil Beef (which you can "unspicy" by requesting a 1 or 2 on their 5 scale) and the chicken/shrimp Pad Thai. They have moved to a QR code menu but the waiter still took our order and we paid him.

The best Thai food in the Saint Louis area! So flavorful!…read more Addie's Thai not only provides a friendly, professional full service dining experience but also puts utmost flavor and intention into their beautiful dishes. I've worked at Thai restaurants in St. Louis including Chao Baan, King and I, and the original Thai Bistro in Wildwood (before 2022 sale) so I know what authentic and flavorful Thai food should taste like. Friends and I have been searching for Thai food as good as the original Thai Bistro in Wildwood and I'm happy to say I've finally found it! We happened to try this restaurant because my sister asked if the family could meet somewhere "different" for her birthday. The restaurant staff helped us make a reservation for 10 people in their semi-private dining room. We had kids with us and they were also happy with the food! We were impressed not only by the food but also by the white tablecloths, real cloth napkins, and ornate traditional décor throughout the restaurant. We selected wine by the glass and cocktails from their full-bar list on the menu. We started with an array of appetizers from the menu including wings, dumplings, spring rolls, and fresh rolls. We agreed our favorites were the dumplings and spring rolls. We also shared entrées Phad Thai, Drunken Noodles, Red Curry, Angry Beef, Thai Fried Rice and Vegetable Stir Fry. Our favorites were Red Curry, Drunken Noodles, and Phad Thai. I tend to judge a Thai restaurant on the thickness and flavor of their curry and the color, flavor, and sauciness of their Phad Thai. Both dishes checked all of the boxes I'd qualify as 5 stars. I'm so happy the Addie's Thai curry is thick and flavorful while having the perfect spice balance. It's my pet peeve when Thai restaurants water down curry or overly sweeten it because they want to cater to the average American palette. Addie's Thai does not do that thankfully. The Phad Thai had a gorgeous golden brown color and the flavor clearly indicated they use traditional Tamarind in the sauce. So delicious! We took home so many leftovers simply because their portion sizes are so large! Come with an appetite! We are so happy to have found such a delicious Thai restaurant in West St. Louis County and the birthday girl left very satisfied with our meal.

I've been coming here on and off for over 11 years, and the consistency is a big reason I keep returning. Camille, who has been there for quite some time, took care of our table. She's always efficient, friendly, and welcoming, with a calm demeanor and a genuine smile that makes the experience even better. My usual favorites are the Angry Chicken and the Sweet Basil Chicken, and this time the Angry Chicken won out--I ordered it at a 2-star spice level. It was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. One of the nice perks of weekday lunch is that each person gets two fried spring rolls. They came out quickly and were served with a sweet and sour sauce--simple but very delicious. When our entrées arrived, a large pot of perfectly cooked rice was placed on the table, followed by our main dishes. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. This has long been one of my go-to places for hosting out-of-town guests, and it continues to deliver solid Thai dishes and great service.

Seriously it's impressive how they took such a great spot and just completely ruined it. I don't know why you'd ever come here. It's sad because wildwood doesn't have a lot of good food spots, and this place used to be a local savior. Dear business owner, for the sake of the wildwood food scene and because I know this place can't been doing well, see below for how to fix this place: 1. Stop running this place like a cheap 2008 Chinese restaurant. For $8.50 I can get more food that tastes better from Panda Express 3 minutes down the road. You're not going to win in the budget category. 2. Wildwood is a wealthy area and wants another mid-tier restaurant like el maguey where you can have a good meal for $20. Charging $15 for slop is a losing strategy vs. charging $18 or even $20 for something pretty good. 3. Increase menu prices $2-$3 each, double the protein and increase the quality. The thin, dry, sad baby chicken portions are undesirable at any price point, I promise. 4. Fix your thin, watery curry. I'm not even sure what's happening here but it needs to change. 5. Increase non-protein portions by like 30% so that a single entree is enough for lunch or dinner. They currently are not.

It definitely leaned on the sweeter side, which may not be for everyone, but we really enjoyed it. The chicken was especially good--it tasted super fresh and like actual, good-quality chicken rather than the bland or processed-tasting chicken you sometimes get with takeout. The hibachi steak & chicken was phenomenal. The meat was so tender and had a really nice flavor. The sauce was sweet, but thankfully not cloying or overly heavy. This was probably our favorite thing we ordered and something we'd absolutely get again. The appetizer sampler was probably the weakest part of the meal.
