Delicious food. Great friendly service. Polite and professional. But again DELICIOUS!

Breading from the chicken

The old saying is "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me". I have been getting dinner from this restaurant for the last 10 years, at least. About a month ago, I got my usual Sweet and Sour Chicken combination with Crab Rangoon. The Crab Rangoon is one of the best in town, it is made with petals instead of a folded over crust. The fried chicken had an exceptionally thick coating of breading on the chicken pieces, I called and spoke with them and told them the problem and it was acknowledged. I decided to try it again and as you can see from the picture, the breaded crust far surpasses the amount of chicken you get.

#53. Kung Po Chicken

My go to neighborhood Chinese restaurant. They always get my order right. Food is made very quickly and fresh. Reasonable prices. The kung poa chicken is soo tasty. The general Taos has a light sweetness and isn't coated in too much breading. The Mongolian beef was very tender.

Chicken and broccoli was primarily celery.

Decent food but $14.80 for a chicken entree is simply a rip off! Back pepper chicken at this price is a joke

Foods great, add an egg to your rice for $.50 - you won't regret it! Our family's go to for Chinese cuisine in Ballwin.

The rice nasty as hell but I will say they do have good potstickers. The restarant also had an odor. The rice is yellow.

China Bistro is inside Pan Asia Supermarket, so it's not really a traditional sit-down restaurant,…read morebut the food is seriously good if you're looking for bold Chinese flavors. We ordered the cumin beef, twice cooked pork, beef noodle soup, fish in chili oil, and also a beef pho (not pictured because we started eating it right away). The twice cooked pork was my favorite. Really flavorful pork belly with leeks and chili, a little smoky from the wok, and perfect with rice. I'd go back just for that dish. The cumin beef was also great -- lots of cumin and spices with crispy bits of beef. The fish in chili oil came in a huge bowl packed with dried chilies, garlic, and peppercorns. Definitely spicy but really good if you like Sichuan-style dishes. The beef noodle soup was comforting and hearty, and the beef pho was solid too -- good broth and a big bowl. It's a pretty casual setup since it's inside the grocery store, but the food is legit and the portions are generous. Definitely worth stopping by if you're already at Pan Asia or craving something spicy

Place your order, go shop a little and go back and grab your food or stay and eat-in at one of the many tables. The #17 noodles, no protein is my absolute go-to FAVORITE dish along with the sauteed green beans and their plain fried rice is better than their shrimp fried rice. I love that they offer whole and half duck. I have to try the crispy pork that hangs along side the duck in addition to the duck. Also the prices are reasonable and the portion size is nice. They have a great menu offering and even sell cold dishes on the outside of the register in the display case, such as: sushi and vegan duck. See my pics attached to my review for Pan Asia

It's a pretty spacious restaurant with board games to play, a few random kitchen appliances for sale, and peacock chairs to chill in. The lady working here was really nice, and clarified a few things on the menu for me. She seemed busy with tickets, and pick up orders. The food took a while to come out, but it wasn't too bad of a wait. I wish our drink orders had come out all at the same time though. drinks: Red Bean Uji Matcha - ordered with less sugar, my MIL liked the flavor Pineapple Fruit Tea - ordered with all the sugar, my husband did not get a lot of pineapple flavor Jasmine Tea - ordered with less sugar, I liked the flavor and that the jasmine was strong Food: Cucumber Salad - it was drenched in the sauce, but it was still good. I wish it was smashed cucumber instead of sliced though Pan Fried Dumplings - it was missing a lot of crisp, but the filling was good. We got beef. Boiled Dumplings - Pork was the filling, the wrapper was good and chewy, but it nothing was stand out. Shrimp Shumai - Compared to most shumai, this was big and you could see chunks of the shrimp at the top! Chicken Teriyaki Udon - the noodle was great! I think this had the most flavor, and was the best option for the table. Considering the area, it's probably the best option y'all have, but I think having the udon will be the way to go!
