    Crab Rangoon 6 pieces

DD Mau is a bright, newly relocated restaurant in the old Weber Front Row Grill location in Webster Groves. I ordered at the counter the 6 piece crab Rangoon, bowl of pho with brisket and a Thai iced tea for dine in. I ordered takeout for my boyfriend the spicy combination lo mein and crab Rangoon. My food was served piping hot and the Thai iced tea was so refreshing! Crab Rangoon were large and enough to share. The pho was delicious; nicely spiced and not salty. I haven't had pho with brisket before and I liked the flavor. Large bowl led to a take home container. I like the bright colors and sleek design of the restaurant. There are many tables and it was ok to pull some together for our group of seven ladies. Attentive staff member kept checking if our group needed anything. I'll definitely come back to DD Mau!

I got the Chicken Lo Mein. The portions are HUGE here. The noodles were cooked well (al dente) and there was a lot of chicken for the portion. I did find it a little bland though. I found that better after I added some of the sauce that was available at the front counter (it was not labeled though, so I'm not sure what it was called). I thought it was pretty good value for the price though, and we'll probably give it another try.

Awesome menu and delicious Vietnamese food in a bright, fresh space in downtown Webster Groves! I absolutely love this place. It's comfort Vietnamese food full of flavor with fresh, vibrant ingredients, and the portions are huge, especially for the price. We tried the chicken pho, chicken fried rice, steak bánh mì, crab rangoon, and vegetable spring rolls, and everything was fantastic. The pho had a deeply flavorful broth with tons of tender shredded chicken and noodles. The fried rice was made to order, packed with flavor, and incredibly fresh--honestly some of the best fried rice I've ever had, and easily enough for leftovers. The bánh mì was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, loaded with tender steak, crisp pickled vegetables and fresh greens on a perfectly crispy yet soft roll. You order at the counter, so I'd recommend checking out the menu before you arrive. Line gets long fast. The food came out quickly as each dish was ready, which was great. The space itself is large, with plenty of tables, and the decor is bright, simple, and clean.

Bigger home, same heart! Vietnamese hot spot DD Mau has officially settled into the former Weber's Front Row space, and with 6,000 sq ft to play with, there's room for more guests and more menu items. All their beloved staples made the move, (we finally tried those famous wings during the soft opening)! And an expanded kitchen means exciting additions like dumplings, pot stickers, and lo mein. DD Mau Vietnamese Eatery @ddmaustl 8169 Big Bend in Webster Groves This Vietnamese joint offers a delightfully light and airy atmosphere with a wide variety of delicious options to enjoy. Their standout feature is the vegan broth, which is incredibly flavorful and satisfying, especially in the vegan pho with shrimp. We also savored the fresh spring rolls and the vegan chicken vermicelli bowl, both bursting with taste. For an extra kick, I recommend adding a spicy sauce to enhance the flavors, but you can customize your meal to suit your preferences. Overall, a fantastic spot that I highly recommend trying! Helpful staff too! *not halal but has vegan and seafood options https://www.instagram.com/reel/DRkkt1Xkmor/?igsh=MW8xN2FnYnNmaWFpbw==

So excited for the new location! The new Webster Groves location is beautiful and much more spacious than the previous store. We came on the day after the grand opening and it was great to see it so busy. We have frequented DD Mau for about 3 years now so it's great to see the growth! I ordered the new Lo Mein with vegan chicken and the veggie egg rolls. The veggie egg rolls always hit and the new Lo Mein is amazing! My favorite will always be the fried rice but this is a close second. I also highly recommend the vegan lemongrass soup to warm you up on a cold day! I appreciate that just about everything can be made vegan or vegetarian. Love it!

Got the chicken pho. The broth tasted clean but it was a bit salty for me. The portion was good for the price (I was surprised that I finished the noodles). I would try their other dishes next time (and my review might change). My friend liked the fried rice though! Food came out quickly after ordering and we were able to find seats (it wasn't too busy but there's also a lot of tables).

Was excited to try out the new location and we were very impressed! My fiancés first time trying Vietnamese food and he said it was very good. I am a huge fan of the pork vermicelli bowl, it never disappoints. The service was great and the new atmosphere was fantastic! There's so much more seating now which is great. Always a treat at DD Mau!

First time here. Wow this building sure has changed from what it was the sports bar. It's so bright and cheery and airy! We ordered crab Rangoon's for the table and I ordered one of the chicken bowls. It was very tasty. It had the peanut sauce on it. I did have to go up and ask for a second peanut sauce so I guess that was a good sign that it was good lol. It was definitely a filling meal. One of the guest with us ordered the tofu fried rice. There was so much fried rice in the bowl. He hardly made a dent in it. The rice was basically just rice and it looked like onions, no vegetables and it just the tofu. Their service was impressive. You did go up and order the fridge yourself and they brought it out to you. They brought each person's food out separately so you got it while it was hot. The only bad thing about that is you were stuck with the food in front of you and you felt bad eating before your other table guest. But these staff was very friendly and kept coming around to see if we needed anything else.

I had never tried DD Mau until this week, shocking right? We moved to Arizona when this place opened up in 2018, and we just recently moved back and realized they are still in Webster Groves, but are in an updated location. Let me tell you, the location is excellent! It's a bit hard to find parking, but the interior is extremely spacious and well-decorated. This place was packed when we arrived. The cashier was not very friendly or helpful with suggestions, but I appreciated that the menu and sauce list had descriptions. We decided to split the Pork Bao Buns, the Chicken Fried Rice, and the Meatball Pho. There are plenty of seasonings, sauces and utensils available, along with 2 types of water, at the self serve bar along the main wall. The food wasn't extremely impressive, sadly, but it wasn't bad by any means. The best item was the Pork Bao Sliders, they were delicious. The pork was tender and the buns were sweet and soft. The second best was the Chicken Fried Rice. It had that awesome browned flavor that STL is known for, but it was just a bit too greasy and salty to be fantastic. The worst item was the Meatball Pho. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't good compared to other Phos I've tried in the area. Would we come back? Sure. Not tomorrow, not next week, but maybe sometime in the next few months. Nice remodel guys!

Chicken Fried Rice - love the mild flavor of this! It's not overly salty like some fried rice can be.

Exceptional food!!!! We found ourselves here when we were headed to Lemongrass and found out they had closed. Although I was disappointed to not dive into a crunchy rice hot pot, we were completely happy with our dinner. Servings are huge and we found out we could have definitely shared options, and we ordered a variety for the experience. We will for sure be back!

We love DD Mau so much! Great portion sizes, fresh food, amazing flavors. They are counter service so it's easy. The location is very clean and lots of natural light pours in. I really enjoy eating here and look forward to coming again soon

We ordered the cumin beef, twice cooked pork, beef noodle soup, fish in chili oil, and also a beef pho (not pictured because we started eating it right away). The twice cooked pork was my favorite. Really flavorful pork belly with leeks and chili, a little smoky from the wok, and perfect with rice. I'd go back just for that dish. The cumin beef was also great -- lots of cumin and spices with crispy bits of beef. The fish in chili oil came in a huge bowl packed with dried chilies, garlic, and peppercorns. Definitely spicy but really good if you like Sichuan-style dishes. The beef noodle soup was comforting and hearty, and the beef pho was solid too -- good broth and a big bowl. It's a pretty casual setup since it's inside the grocery store, but the food is legit and the portions are generous. Definitely worth stopping by if you're already at Pan Asia or craving something spicy

The #17 noodles, no protein is my absolute go-to FAVORITE dish along with the sauteed green beans and their plain fried rice is better than their shrimp fried rice. I love that they offer whole and half duck. I have to try the crispy pork that hangs along side the duck in addition to the duck. Also the prices are reasonable and the portion size is nice. They have a great menu offering and even sell cold dishes on the outside of the register in the display case, such as: sushi and vegan duck. See my pics attached to my review for Pan Asia

Update 2/20/26…read more Ordered Wan Fu to go last night for the first time since it changed ownership. The interior has been refreshed and looks fine for dine in. Nothing fancy but perfectly decent. We ordered crab rangoon, hibachi fried rice with beef, vegetable lo mein (no bean sprouts), wonton in chili sauce, and Pai Huang Gua (cucumber salad) - spicy. Online ordering was easy but the way they communicated pickup time was unfortunate. There was a canned "it will probably be 20-25 min unless we're busy" message at the beginning of the ordering process, but there was no other indication of how long it would take until I got a text to say "come now". I only live about 5 - 8 min away so it wasn't a big deal, but it was strange and could be difficult if you live further and need to know when to start driving. Food was packed nicely and service was good at pickup. Portions were not whopping but there was enough for everyone to get full on their meal. Hibachi rice tasted exactly like hibachi rice, so that was perfect. Beef in the rice was perfectly fine. Vegetable lo mein was chock full of delicious fresh veggies. That order was completely finished, no extra, so that portion was a little lacking. Crab rangoon were only ok. Filling was good but the wrapper was a little tough and didn't taste too good. Spicy wontons had a really nice meat filling and sauce, but they used the same wrapper as the rangoon (I assume) so they were very thick and tough. The cucumber salad was very fresh and nice and spicy. I would have liked to order an entree, but my kids wanted more appetizers this time and I didn't want tons of leftovers. Prices are a little on the higher side but I don't think they are any different than other comparable restaurants.

It was excellent and had just the right amount of heat. I also enjoyed the smoky ham fried rice, although it lacked the distinct smoky aroma I was expecting. Some of the other dishes didn't quite land for me. The fish soup wasn't my favorite, and the beef noodle soup wasn't especially memorable.
