I couldn't fit the entire ball of rice in my mouth, so I cut the rice in half. After doing that to 7 pieces, there was a 1/2 cup of rice remaining on my plate. I was still hungry and hesitant to order more. Waiter came over and explained that I had to eat all the rice, and there was a slight argument over it. I had heard good things about the St. Charles location so wanted to try it and we ended up at this one. I wish we hadn't. There was not much AC running on a 98F day, so it was warm and muggy inside. The salad was watery and soggy, with a puddle at the bottom of the bowl, but uneaten food with AYCE is an extra charge so I finished it. We got the dinner AYCE on a Sunday, ordering 7 rolls and two pieces of nigiri. They forgot the sweet potato roll initially; when I finally brought it up with the server she said the owner would "come talk to [us]." He ended up eventually just bringing it out a while later. Some of the sushi was decent, like the honey roll and the jalapeño roll. But the rest were a bit off to us, especially those with salmon. The tamago nigiri was insanely overcooked, like a hard crusty omelette slice rather than a sweet, tender piece of egg roll. They forgot the scallions in the Philadelphia roll so it was all cream cheese and lukewarm salmon. There was a female server who offered several times to refill our drinks, which was nice, though the sodas were warm, Overall, it wasn't a great experience and we probably won't return any time soon.
