When I asked him for help he found me immediately. With the cost of their premium "Emerald" paint over $100 a gallon you'll want to 1) use a coupon or 2) let your contractor buy it. They often have coupons for 30% off, but the contractor price is usually always even better/more. If you're buying 20 gallons, like we did, then the savings are substantial when knowing this.

I then asked how exactly to pick yellow sample cards that were for exterior paints and was told by the gentleman to 'avoid yellow colors for the exterior of your house.' I picked two more similar color cards and another employee (female) told me those colors did not come in exterior paints either. No other suggestions from either employee. When I got home, I realized that if I had brought in a yellow chip and asked them to match that color it could have easily been done. Neither of these employees told me that they could match the color and make the exterior paint from the sample card! That should have been a no-brainer for them. Went to another Sherwin-Williams the same day and they were much more helpful.

I collected the chlorine from the front desk and made a separate purchase for the seasonings. I didn't use the seasonings until this weekend when I fired up my smoker. It was then that I noticed the "best by" date was from May 2023. While I understand that a "best by" date is just a guideline, two years past that date is quite excessive. I called the store to request an exchange but was told "NO" due to their 30-day policy, which I understand. However, the "manager" repeatedly informed me that seasonings don't expire; they just lose their smell, potency, and flavor. He emphasized multiple times that they were not "expired." Having cooked for over 20 years, I know what happens to seasonings past their prime. When they lose their intended qualities, I typically discard them as they no longer serve their purpose. So, I ask you this: What do you buy seasonings for? The smell? The flavor? The potency? All of these attributes diminish over time. The fact that this store sells products with dates from two years ago is quite concerning. Since the manager offered no assistance, I will be leaving reviews to inform the public that this location sells outdated products and is inflexible with their "policy."

Calloways has the best pricing for fuller, thicker herbs then anyone else in town their pricing on herbs are almost $2.00 less then Home Depot and or Lowe's these days, and they look so much better. Christiana's might be cheaper but the lack of thickness and fullness of their herbs are just putting you behind by a month or more. Trust me, go look. The organization at Calloways also just makes it easier to find the herbs and flowers quickly and easily compared to big box stores. The variety is unmatched at this location, Custer location and the North Plano location as well. I shop all locations as I look for the most beautiful flowers I can find. Calloways has come a long way over the decades. They have now become some of the most competitive flowers, herbs and vegetables specialists with great overall value.
