After finishing my shopping for items and found them to be well worth the price I paid for them, I talked to my mother about cultivators and my mother told me to look at them, Kristine was a great help in my looking for them. Although she provided the best help and friendliness she could, the one they had in store, turned out not to be what I needed. I thank them all for their great help and hope the rest of the staff continues to show this to customers, it's an encouragement to come back even more.

Severely deficient customer service. I purchased a refrigerator which advertised a delivery date of…read morethree days after purchase. On the scheduled delivery date, the delivery did not occur. There was no call, text, or email notifying me of any delay or issue. When I contacted Home Depot, I was told the refrigerator "did not make it onto the truck" and that delivery had been pushed out another three days. I was also advised that neither Home Depot nor its contracted delivery service intended to notify me that the delivery would not occur as scheduled. Delays in deliveries of major appliances are disappointing, but not uncommon. What is completely outrageous is Home Depot's failure to communicate that the appliance "did not make it on the truck" (even though the tracking information showed it was with the carrier). Customers should not have to discover on their own that a delivery is not going to occur. This experience reflects a complete lack of basic customer service and accountability.

I walked into the Crate & Barrel store--dressed well, walking with confidence--ready to browse and spend money. Four sales associates, all white, standing in a small group near the entrance. They saw me. One made direct eye contact as I walked in... then immediately turned back around like I was invisible. No greeting. No "Hello." No "Welcome in." Not even a nod. Just went right back to their conversation like I wasn't even a person who just entered their place of business. As I walked through the store--alone, the only customer in sight--not a single associate approached me. I passed multiple staff members. Nothing. No offer to help. No eye contact. No acknowledgment. It wasn't until I turned around to leave, clearly disappointed, that someone finally called out from behind, "Did you need help with something?" Now you ask? After I've walked the whole store and been completely ignored? Let's be real: I'm a Black man. And I know exactly what I experienced. This wasn't just bad service--it was selective service. Let's not pretend like they didn't know how to greet a customer. They just chose not to treat me like one. So I left. I got on my phone, Googled your competitors, and headed straight to West Elm. Night and day. At West Elm, I was greeted warmly the second I walked in. Asked what I was looking for. Shown options. Given space and attention without hovering or ignoring me. I have been in with jumbled orders between myself and my contractor and they have helped me work through and make exchanges kindly. One gentleman was so helpful... sir i wish i remembered your name to acknowledge you here :) Other times I have been in ordering paint 20 minutes before close and welcomed with angry faces, slamming items around and obvious looks at arm watches as though I was clearly impeding on their final 20 minutes open. Not super with helping explain products just look at you as though you should know what you need and that they dont have time to deal with a customer that is lacking knowledge so can be a frustrating experience. I then asked how exactly to pick yellow sample cards that were for exterior paints and was told by the gentleman to 'avoid yellow colors for the exterior of your house.' I picked two more similar color cards and another employee (female) told me those colors did not come in exterior paints either. No other suggestions from either employee. When I got home, I realized that if I had brought in a yellow chip and asked them to match that color it could have easily been done. Neither of these employees told me that they could match the color and make the exterior paint from the sample card! That should have been a no-brainer for them. Went to another Sherwin-Williams the same day and they were much more helpful.

It's heavy duty and perfect for a less than enthusiastic homeowner like myself. David has helped me during this fence project. I've made 3 trips to their store and showed up at closing time on 2 of those occasions. David was fantastic and was very accomodating even though I arrived at closing. They did a much better job.
