There's a GREAT reason why this place has the poor reputation it does. This place staffs the WORST employees who are completely inept. Paint is NEVER ready when you order it online. They're always HIGHLY confused when you come in for your order. Staff is NOT friendly at all. If you have the misfortune of getting "Jessica," immediately ask for someone else. She's just going to stay in a state of confusion and unhelpfulness. You have to literally double check everything they do and give you. As I write this, I also just realized the store gave me the wrong rollers that I tried to check out with yesterday, but they kept for some stupid reason and waited to give me until my paint was ready. When I came back, the dude said he put EVERYTHING back that I picked out the day before because the CEO was coming. Who cares??? Tell the CEO you and your staff are completely inept and not qualified for your job and you need to hold onto this stuff because a customer just picked it out and purchased it! WTF?!??? Although this place is right by my house, I make it a point to drive to another location that is four times as far in order to get staff that actually knows what they're doing. I was running late after a horrible day and getting stuck in traffic and arrived just minutes before the store closed, hoping I could get 4 samples. Both Daniel and Gary were really gracious and helpful which I really appreciated since there was an issue (with what I brought in from contractors, NOT SW issue) with all 4 of the samples I needed. Gary helped me save some money and Daniel even helped carry everything out to my car and loaded it in. I know I can get paint elsewhere, but I sure can't get this level of service and it's so much quicker than the big box stores! read more

We were able to get an exact match to stain our birch wood shelves. We took a sample of the type of wood and our cabinets that we wanted to match - they were able to make the stain in about 15 minutes. They did a great job matching - very helpful and friendly staff. read more

I had a great experience and the staff (Daniel Ramos) was exceptional in providing guidance and support thru a recent project. While I insisted on a particular paint, he discouraged me, yet I went forward with what I believed to be appropriate. I realized thru the application that it was not the solution I was looking for. So I returned and he swapped out for what he originally recommended. This saved me money while simultaneously providing the right solution. Each time I was there, it took only minutes once I decided on what was needed and waiting was no longer than 5 minutes. I found him to be very knowledgeable (he works with mostly professional contractors) and is honest and extremely efficient. As you may know Sherwin-Williams provides quality products and more expertise than most "big box" stores. I will definitely go back. read more

The store is absolutely terrible and I would never come here again. Despite the fact there were two employees working and only one customer I was not greeted at all. I finally interrupted to ask questions about the stains they sell and the employee did not know any of the answers about their own stain products. What a waste of a trip avoid this place at all costs. If my Builder wasn't using Sherwin Williams I would never buy anything here. read more

The only reason this store got 2 stars is because is successfully matched the paint I needed. I will never go to Sherman Williams againg because 1 gallon of WHITE paint cost me 65 dollars! I went to Lowe's and got the same type of paint (that actually covered better) for 21 dollars. No amount of BS claims about a difference in "quality" can justify that when I said I just needed paint to cover one apartment wall. They didn't even discuss prices until they had already mixed the paint! Customer service was mediocre, the guy didn't know what he was talking about and couldn't answer almost any questions I had. Overall, the price is an absolute rip off, and I was a fool to take the paint anyways. Lesson learned, never going back. read more

Today was the end of the 30% off sale Sherwin Williams. I spend $800 at another Sherwin Williams just last week. I still needed more, but my vehicle can only carry so much. I went today at 3:00, not realizing they closed at 4:00 pm. I needed 15 gal. Of quick dry primer & 4 gal. of paint for my cabinets. They tel me they only have 5 gal. Of the primer and call the location at Forest and Preston to learn that they "have" plenty. They also advise they do not have the base to make the cabinet paint, but I can go to the other store and get everything. I ask "Can I buy it now and when you get it in, you can call me?" No, they advise, they can only sell what they have in stock." Now, a multitude of options at this point. They raised they closed very soon, I did not. Nor did they tell me. They told me where the other store was located and I drove straight there. Guess what? The store they sent me to, much further away was closed. Overall, they cost me $$$ today. At the very, very least, I could have bought the 5 gallon of primer. They could have said, hey, our stores close at 4, so it will be closed, don't go, they could have said, call that other store, place your order and pay for it and arrange to pick it up tomorrow because the sale is over. I will never ever go to this location again. The pathetic part in all of this is that they weren't busy at all, virtually no on there. read more

I have done business with Sherwin-Williams for over 10 years. This by far was one of my worst experiences ever. They did not have what I needed in stock and the employee was completely unhelpful. When I asked if he could order what I needed he informed me that the manager was going to be out of town for the entire week and he couldn't do that. I went to a different local Sharon Williams and was helped in the same friendly manner that I'm used to. read more

I have used this store several times and always come away disappointed. The last two times, we wanted to get samples. They ONLY have satin samples, not matte or anything else. In any other store I can get a sample in any finish. The last time we went to get the same color in matte finish and somehow we ended up with satin again. They would not fix it, simply restating their no return policy regardless of the circumstances. I will never use this store, or perhaps Sherman Williams again. They charge a premium price for sub-par service. read more
