I never got a solid plan, they hard-sold me high, promising we would reduce it, just to make me sign the contract. (my first mistake) Of course, those meetings to discuss my priorities and reduce the budget, never came. My dream wasn't realized as they either vetoed, forgot or bumbled each feature of my design. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. When we initially had our bathroom remodeled, everything seemed great. We were happy with the finished product and had no complaints about the installation. Unfortunately, about four months after the remodel, we started noticing mold growing in and underneath the caulk along the entire bottom perimeter of the shower, where the walls meet the shower base. This is especially concerning because this is a brand-new bathroom installation. The caulk is still firmly attached, yet mold is appearing underneath and throughout the bottom seam. At the very least, I expect Five Star to come out, inspect the installation, determine what is causing the problem, and properly correct it. The worst part of this experience has been the complete lack of customer service after the sale. I have called the Arlington location multiple times asking for someone to come out and inspect the issue under the warranty. I have not been given an appointment or even received a meaningful response. I also contacted the company's national customer-service/sales line, only to be told that all they could do was send another message to the Arlington office. I then sent a formal written warranty request by email, and I still received no response. That is unacceptable. Five Star advertises a lifetime warranty and emphasizes that its warranty is locally serviced. When you spend a significant amount of money on a professionally installed bathroom, you shouldn't have to repeatedly call, email, and chase the company down just to get someone to acknowledge a problem only four months after installation. I am extremely disappointed--not necessarily because something went wrong, because problems can happen with any installation, but because Five Star has shown virtually no urgency or accountability in addressing the problem. I sincerely hope someone eventually takes responsibility and comes out to inspect and properly resolve this. If they do, I will gladly update this review to reflect how the situation was handled. For now, however, I cannot recommend Five Star Bath Solutions of Arlington based on my experience with their post-installation warranty service and customer support.

It required two passes to achieve the same cut quality as my old gas-powered mower. Additionally, the self-propelled feature felt clunky and was difficult to maneuver, making the mowing experience more cumbersome than convenient. I was hoping to make the switch away from gas and oil for conveince and environmental reasons, but unfortunately, this unit doesn't meet my needs. I've decided to return to using my old reliable gas mower for now. Now for Ace, I tried to return the mower after using it for 30-minutes and cleaning it up. I was told because I used it, they would not take it back. Off to Ace corporate to see if they can help!
