We used this company for countertops and backsplash. We used quartzite from countertop all the way to the ceiling as backsplash. Michelle and Shirley have great customer service and communication. Through out the whole process from us calling in and asking questions to setting up appointment and all the way to the installation day. I love that Michelle is hands on and has a mind of an engineer. Mario is the lead installer and when he came in to do the measurements, he took his time and was very meticulous with his measurements, which I was very happy to see bc the previous company came in and in less than 20minutes he was done. We have a historic district home. and thought soapstone would be the way to go for our new countertops. Looking at websites for countertop fabricators, the DFW Granite website had all the information we needed - what the process is, what to do, even helped us look at all the soapstone available now in inventories. So they were the first company we called with questions. The person who answered the phone was so phenomenally helpful and sharp ("We have worked with the same crew for years, we have our own plumber you pay directly for a moderate fee...") that once we determined the estimate was fair (good, actually) we went ahead with them, and are very happy we did. At the initial visit for measuring and preparation by the owner of the company I was told that she is present at all installs! Also she went to a lot of trouble to tell me potential glitches and things I would have to deal with later (nothing is square, of course, it's a 100 year old house). The install group, the person in the office, all have worked together for years, and it showed. The result is better than I ever expected and such a delightful upgrade to our life. Besides being beautiful and never having to worry about where I set a hot pot down, the soapstone is warm for stone and the colors are beautiful. read more

Terrific experience from start to finish. We built a backyard living area and our contractor's normal contacts couldn't meet our time requirements due to current market demand. We found DFW Granite after a short search on the Web and quickly noticed that their customer reviews are outstanding. Upon contact, they were very responsive and thorough in responding to questions and giving us details on the process. We had quotes in a short timeframe and a wide variety of options for granite wholesalers where we could pick the exact granite color/type. Our expectations were exceeded and we found something that was far better than our initial design concept. The office is VERY thorough in giving details on process, next steps and status. They are very timely and make you feel like you are customer #1 throughout the process. Finally, the owner takes the measurements and is very thorough in getting every measurement, corner and curve carefully noted. On installation day, she provides thorough oversight and care in the process, working with a crew that has been with her for several years. One note, their installation time was much shorter than competition AND they were even able to move us up on the schedule due to cancellation, which helped us have the project done in time for a holiday! I was expecting my kitchen to be an absolute wreck for a while as we got everything installed but her team kept everything super clean and even kept trim pieces intact for me to reinstall. Second, they offered a one stop shop to get everything done which I really appreciated. They came in and took away all of the old backsplash and countertops and put the cooktop and everything back when they were done. We were wanting to replace the kitchen, bar and bath countertops and did not know where to begin. From finding the stone to who would install it seemed so daunting to us. Our first phone call was to DFW Granite and from the moment Shirley picked up the phone and took us through the process as if we were already a customer, we knew we'd be doing business with them. I got a quote via email for this company but decided not to use them. The email responses I got back were not ugly, but so very DRY and UNWELCOMING. The lady gave short answers and never made any kind of reference to being happy or to work with me or looking forward to helping me. Twice she emailed me back asking a question I had already answered, making it obvious that she didn't read my responses well. DFW Granite, (DFW), is exceptional from their super communication, quick response, professionalism, cleanliness, and finished project. As a retired contractor I can tell when a company meets a very high standard of quality. In mid May my wife and I met with Michele, the owner of DFW. From the start we were impressed with her knowledge and understanding of our requirements. We were interested in having all of the existing dark granite counters replaced with Quartz. We were given several Quartz suppliers to investigate various selections. We selected MSI and we are very pleased that we did. DFW set up a meeting with Mayra of MSI and we picked the slabs of Quartz we would purchase. She helped us with color based on our current cabinetry. She was terrific and very knowledgeable. DFW measured and we soon received a quote for the project consisting of an L-shaped kitchen counter, large island, back splashes, two home entry recessed shelves, master bath and guest bath counters. We agreed on the very reasonable contract price and then DFW cut the Quartz in their shop. Michele of DFW set a date for installation and installation began. The installers were all very professional and handled a very difficult install with incredible workmanship. Michele was there the entire time and was available to her installers and us for any help or questions. By the end of the day all of the old granite was removed and the new Quartz was installed. The cuts, finishes and cleanup were perfect. All in all, this was a very good experience and we are very pleased. I am not a big review person but in this case I am compelled to let others know about DFW and how exceptional they are in all areas of their process. read more

From the beginning to the end of the job, Michele, Shirley, and the entire team worked closely with me and delivered exactly what I had envisioned for my kitchen countertops and backsplash. When I first phoned, Shirley emailed documents explaining exactly how to measure my countertops so that I could get a preliminary estimate up front. I knew that I wanted high-end exotic granite. Michele and Shirley were both very patient with me and quick to respond via email and phone whenever I had questions. They tracked down and gave me estimates for all 5 of my preliminary granite selections. My husband and I went to the granite supplier, looked at the slabs, and selected our favorite. All of this happened before a single cent changed hands. Very impressive! I set an appointment with Michele, during which she verified the preliminary measurements, set my expectations regarding the job and any problems that might arise, and presented me with the contract. It couldn't have been easier! Michele's crews arrived exactly as scheduled, performed their work beautifully, and left our home clean. They started the job on Wednesday, December 21st and completed it on Friday, December 23rd. We had extended family over for lunch the very next day on Christmas Eve, and they got to admire the finished kitchen!
