We scheduled for the following day, and the guy that came out was over 30 minutes late, which made me run late for my work meeting. They advertise granite starting at $35/square foot with install and materials, which would have meant my countertops should have been around $3,150.00, but they ended up quoting me over $7,000.00! I told them I just needed something basic as we were planning on selling the house. I asked what happened with the drastic price difference, and they sent me pictures of the granite they had for $35/square foot, which were hideous and would clash with our island. I told them so, and they never responded with any alternative. Also, I'm not fond of doing everything by text if I'm spending $7,000.00. I guess I'll be using a different company.

The first time we talked on the phone, and before I asked for an estimate, Scott answered a long list of questions I had. He helped me understand everything I had been puzzling over. And he continued to advise me after we had placed the deposit, and all the way through the project. The person who came by to measure went over the measurements twice with me and helped me understand my final choices for edging and backsplash. Whoever planned the layout from our slab, made a beautiful artistic choice -- centering some of the subtle vein work in the slab to fall between the two sinks. Guys doing the install-- terrific work. And the guys coming by to drop off some of our extra slab were great & easy to work with too. I definitely recommend using AA Granite!

07-23-2025 Update to update…read moreJohn Less, owner, no longer uses the same phone number and will not return our calls relating to a $5000 floor job they did for us over a year ago. I know they may have a lot of good reviews, but it's the bad ones you need to pay attention to. They sent out a contraction to repair one small spot without telling me it would not be their company showing up. The contractor hired to help fix all of their mistakes/inferior or competent employees. Owner and Manager have admitted that the job that was performed at our house on our garage floor was not done properly and needed another coat of urethane on top. It has taken them over a year to respond just to tire marks that will not come off of our floor. we are very familiar with this type of flooring because we had the same stuff put in our other house 11 years ago and did not have one issue. We also used garaginization to do that floor so we used them again because we were happy with the first time. I spoke to the owner over a month ago." I told him they needed to hire someone to remove our items from our garage and place them back and they were finished correcting their mistakes. He said they would not do that because that was not in their policies. I said you are the owner you have the right to make exceptions. The only thing he's willing to do is put another coating of urethane on top, but expects us to pay to have it moved and stored in a small unit in our driveway all over again, even though it was obviously their mistake. Listen to your voice listen to this review because it can't happen to you. I have posted several notes with text messages and voicemails attached to this review so there's plenty of documentation to back up what I'm saying. If you are an upstanding company and make a mistake, I believe you should do whatever it takes to correct the problem even if that means moving the items in and out of the garage for the homeowner. Why should the homeowner have to hire someone to move the stuff again if they don't wanna do it, then he needs to compensate us for us hiring someone to do it either way he's not going to do anything about it, and expect us to move it in and out again.and do the right thing by the customer, especially when they spend a massive amount of money to get this project done and have admitted there was a mistake. The employees who laid the floor no longer work there I'm not sure why they left but they are definitely incompetent. If they have quality control measures in place they would not have this issue but they do not and they are terrible about communication and returning your calls. The only time I can get them to call me is when I leave an updated review. It's very sketchy when the owner's number belongs to someone else now. Is he hiding? Update Kidd finally came out and looked at floor and admitted it needed another coat of epoxy. I asked them to help remove the items since it was not our error and we already paid to have this service plus a storage unit to do it. He said they don't do that. I asked him to speak with the owner. Kidd said he was going to call my husband back that day since he arrived early at my house. They will not respond to calls or texts for over two weeks. We have been ghosted. Even though they admitted to failing to properly cover the floor, they will not return our calls. Terrible company Doesn't respond to calls or issues needing to be corrected. Rude office employees. Tire marks all over floor that can't be removed without acetone. Another company told me they did not apply enough top coat so tires will consistently leave permanent marks if not removed without acetone acetone. Didn't respond for over a year.

I'm sharing our experience with Azores Remodeling so other homeowners can make an informed…read moredecision. We hired them for two bathroom remodels. While the tile work turned out nicely, we had significant concerns about their knowledge of basic construction, plumbing, and building-code requirements. Two drains were initially installed using flexible accordion tubing and improper trap configurations. When we raised the issue, the contractor admitted they sometimes improperly install drains, stating that "usually no one cares." They initially proposed an S-trap, which is also not to code. To their credit, they ultimately corrected the plumbing at no additional cost. The framing was another major concern. Azores planned to cut through wall studs for recessed mirrors and niches without properly addressing the structural framing. The contractor admitted they were unfamiliar with the applicable building codes, and we ultimately had to properly frame two of the mirrors ourselves. We also have remaining issues we are addressing ourselves, including a shower handle that came off, a broken outlet that no longer fits properly, drywall damage around another outlet and paint around a fixture they replaced. I just did not expect to have to do this much myself. I'm not sure what value this company actually brought. Communication and oversight were also a concern. Azores was readily available during the first four weeks but became nearly nonexistent during the second four weeks, when many of these issues arose. We were also repeatedly contacted about our low-star review. We found it disappointing that so much attention was given to the review rather than ensuring the work on our home was completed correctly. I also seriously hope they will just leave us alone now. The tile looks nice, but a good finish does not make up for inadequate trade knowledge, planning, and oversight. I recommend that homeowners carefully evaluate Azores' construction expertise before hiring them.
