When hiring a contractor, I have a criteria: good communication/expectation setting, honesty, fairness in price, efficiency, and ownership/quality of the work. As a homeowner, it's been surprisingly hard to find contractors that meet my criteria, but Innovations Touch met them all! Although I have larger projects planned in mind, I hired them for some smaller projects to see how they'd do, especially after hearing horror stories of larger renovation projects being handled poorly. My townhouse was built in 1981 and needed some repairs. Innovations Touch installed a custom guard rail at the attic hatch, installed some new window screens, fixed the catwalk in the attic, did some window siding and wall repairs and completed some behind-the-walls plumbing work. During the whole process, they set expectations well, did a great, detailed job of the work, exceeded my expectations, was fair in price relative to the quality of the work and expediency, and even cleared up a slight miscommunication we had very professionally with no ego or attitude. I was very impressed. Given they literally met all of my criteria, I trust them completely now and it feels good to have an "I know a contractor guy" for renovations for myself and others now. I found them on yelp after interviewing a number of different companies. I hired an assistant to oversee the operations as I worked overseas; they were respectful, a good value and trusting, which I'd important when you allow others in your home. If there was a mistake, they'd amend it, instead of trying to go around the situation. I had a number of touch ups, two vanities and led mirrors installed. I personally haven't seen the work in person, so it was difficult coordinating with my assistant and Allan's team. But at the end of the day, I'd use them again. read more

We moved into a 1965 recently renovated home in Farmers Branch. The house was in OK shape, but unfortunately the poor craftmanship and quality of the work done in the renovation, was very notorious. The house didn't have a pantry, so we needed to build one from scratch. We found Innovations Touch LLC through YELP and we liked the recommendations we read. We got in touch with Allan, the owner and he was very knowledgeable and guided us with what would be best for the functionality we needed out of the pantry. Basically we just told him and Ursula, the designer, what we wanted inside, how many door, drawers and shelves, and they made sure to incorporate our needs into their design ideas given the space and location we had in the house for the project. Very good renovation business. Their free estimate looked pretty accurate and fair compared to other contractors I contacted. My timeline had some constraints as I wanted to have the work completed before I move-in and they managed to deal with it. They replaced the flooring, repainted walls and remodeled my bathroom and I'm very happy with the results. Luis is very quick to answer questions during the renovation period and I really appreciated that. I liked their transparency too and the crew was very courteous. I really appreciated the cleaning of my unit a few days before my move-in once the majority of the work was completed. They finished last details after my move-in but that was not an issue. They picked up all the materials I ordered at the Home depot for me and that was very convenient. We moved into our new home couple months ago and have been wanting to install a water filter system in our sink and needed some help to cut a hole in our countertop. Something simple but need someone who is experienced as you can easily cut it too big or mess up your expensive countertop.
