After months of patient waiting I was emailed a plan too small to read that did not adequately reflect what we had discussed at our initial meeting. At this point Covid was not preventing people from presenting their design plans in person. I felt like I just didn't rank very high in importance so I stopped working with them. In 2021 lots of companies took on all the work they could write because everyone was so unsure of the future. They never should have taken my project. It's important to have the right-size company for the project. Otherwise you'll waste your money like I did.

The recommendation was well-deserved, as Marty and his team were great to work with, and our house looks better than new. With a project of this size, we had to move out for the duration. Before the work started, we received a project schedule detailing what needed to happen and when. The team consistently beat the schedule, and we were able to move back in 2 weeks early. Our friends, and our original builder, were amazed at the transformation in only 7 weeks. We received advice to take this "opportunity" to make some upgrades we wouldn't have normally considered. They helped us envision and build a truly spa-like master bathroom, and upgrade away all the gripes we had with the original kitchen. We could not be happier with our restoration. They were able to make my baby's room look like nothing literally happened which is great considering a wall and the ceiling had to come down. The guys that come and work on your house are actual HR Group employees...not contractors or day laborers. That means they care about their work and want to make you happy. After searching through so many options we found Riad and their Snow White 2x8 Zelig tile gave it the right look with the homey texture that fit perfectly with the style of the house. It's warm and has this gorgeous glaze that gives it a very unique personality. The customer service was a delight as well! Asking the kind of grout best used (they recommended white as opposed to a darker colored grout because the lines are not meant to be perfectly straight). Such good advice! They raised the rent and moved another person in without fixing the water quality issue shown below. They were kind to work with to their benefit.

We also added marble on top of two antique vanities in our master bathroom. The installers arrived on time (no waiting--a rarity when you remodel), were very professional and courteous, and most importantly they did a fantastic job. Venney was the lead installer and he took his time and did the job meticulously. After the bathroom marble had been placed, I decided to change my sink (it was ivory and the marble was white). They came back out and recut the basin hole a bit larger to accommodate the new sink.

I bought my granite here for my New house in July. They get…read moretwo stars instead of 1 because the rest of the house granite looks good. I believe they installed stained granite, and won't admit it or offer a believable explanation. There is clearly an orange stain at the sink. The rest of the granite does not have this stain anywhere else. When I let them know, they told me it was supposed to be like that. And they offered no other response, not more pictures of it elsewhere, not a name of the granite, nothing. Make sure you look over each piece carefully before installing. The stain is along the side of the sink. It wouldn't be so bad except the granite is white and grey, so I'll have to look at this the rest of my life thanks to this place.
