PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, and KNOWLEDGABLE!!! I reached out to Chimney Professionals via the Yelp quote request late afternoon on Tuesday and Isaac responded to my request within a few hours. We quickly chatted about my fireplace issue and he scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. On the day of the appointment, Isaac called to let me know he was en route and provided an ETA which was helpful to ensure I didn't miss him. He arrived on time with an assistant and introduced himself as he entered my home. He came in and I went over my issue and he quickly diagnosed what he thought the issue might be and sure enough he was correct. It took him minutes to repair my issue and had my fireplace working beautifully. The best part of the visit for me was the care he took with my home. He lined the flooring to prevent any large messes from occurring. He then cleaned up the fireplace and gas logs etc and had it looking like new again. He also took the time to answer my many questions and helped me to understand appropriate maintenance and how to use the fireplace when I desired to do so. Can you give zero stars? We had a nice system put in last year. We went to start a couple weeks ago and the automatic igniter wouldn't go on. We weren't sure what to do so my wife called. She told them that she wasn't quite sure what was wrong and then they offered to come out to the house. Man showed up immediately, walked over to the fireplace and the first question he asked was have we changed the batteries? Batteries? And then proceeded to show me that one of the units needed batteries, but four batteries and started right up. The total call took maybe 30 seconds and he knew what the issue was from the start. Which was conveniently left out of the call with my wife that they were batteries to the unit at that point he said oh I'm sorry but we have $150 Trip charge when I asked him why he couldn't have told my wife over the phone to check the batteries before coming out he said while she really wasn't sure what was going on and I wanted to do right by my customer question. Right by your customer? Right by your customer is telling some over the phone based on the problem have you check the battery. Find my wallet and pull out a credit card only to find out that they don't take credit cards but cash checks and Zelle. Clearly annoyed while I paid the man the trip charge, he tried to chat me up about how he was doing right by his customer and continued to defend the charge. He then tried to act like I had no right to be annoyed so after I paid him I asked him to leave. Not before I told him what a shyster he was for taking advantage of my wife and situation where he assumed she or I wasn't capable of changing batteries. To be fair I have no issue with the system or installation but know the are not looking out for you as a customer and will happy to schedule and swindle you out of trip charges that are unnecessary with a little conversation. We will never do business with this company again after this slimy behavior. read more

The technicians (including the owner, Abu, himself) were professionally and cleanly dressed. Even their tools and materials were very clean. They used pads and other gear to ensure that everything was kept neat around our fireplace, and cleaned up afterward, leaving everything even more tidy than before. From a communication standpoint, again, the ultimate professionals. They established my level of understanding to start, and then spoke from there, ensuring I understood, but with no "mansplaining". We wanted to modernize our traditional-looking generic faux wood log (gas) fireplace and had been told by five different fireplace companies that we couldn't change the log set for fire glass. Update: After the initial gas log install, it was determined that based on the construction of the fireplace, the flow of gas was unfortunately too low to support a proper flame.
