We went here after hearing about a Halloween event for kids. We had an absolute blast. We brought our son, our friends, and parents. Every generation loved it. We got to carve a pumpkin with knives and power tools which was a huge hit. Then we went inside and were shocked to see how much inventory they have of gear, knives, and guns. This place is stunning. We rented a lane and everyone was very professional, extremely kind, and very accommodating. There is a great place to sit and watch for people not participating too. It was the first time for our son and my dad to shoot a gun and I don't know who was more excited afterwards. What a great memory for our family. We left with a bunch of candy and a Glock 19. It doesn't get much better then that on Halloween in Texas. We'll be back! read more

Clean environment, great selection of everything you could possibly want. Took the I two to handgun course and also LTC online, I'll go in later to complete my shooting proficiency. read more

I generally have had great experiences here in the past. Great service, great products, but if you don't pay the minimum 69$ a month for a membership, then good luck getting any shooting time during your days off/ the weekend. I went in and was told twice that I'd have to wait an hour for range time. I waited a total of 2 hours and that I couldn't join a waitlist or make a reservation. I gave up, frustated with the situation and will have to reconsider my patronage. read more

My son and I came to see The Knife Bar. Alice, the sales associate, was very knowledgeable and filled in all the gaps and questions we had while researching the first quality knife purchase for my son. Her conversation and non sales pitch approach, along with her knowledge and recommendations, led to me also making an additional purchase for myself. read more

This is my wife's first second time shooting she really enjoyed it and loved it. Cant wait to go back

My wife and I did the Intro to Handgun training with Colin and it was the perfect course for us. Neither of us are gun people nor grew up around guns but wanted to learn the basics and this class delivered. We will be signing up for follow up courses as we continue to explore the possibility of owning firearms in the future but for people who are unsure and uncomfortable Colin was the perfect instructor for us. Look forward to more courses and visiting TGE again soon. Highly recommend this store. read more

If you're in the market for a handgun or a knife this is an amazing place to visit. They have a great selection and the staff is amazing. I was very pleased to see that they had staff that represent every age gender and race. Some other small local gun stores don't offer that. I've used the range several times and have also taken my mother to shoot her a new gun and she enjoyed it very much. They are safe and knowledgeable and we will definitely go back read more

The best staff, best customer service, always a great time when I go for range practice or to find something I need!! I recommend this place to EVERYONE. Maybe a little pricey for range time, but I love this place so much that I still go! This place is the best! read more

Texas Gun Experience - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Grapevine, Texas

Every thing about this place is AWSOME!!! Including the staff. I'm ex law enforcement had to travel all over this very cool country of ours; I'm proud to call home. I've been to many gun shops, love firearms & everything about them. Our country was built on God & guns. This place is definitely one of the BEST I've been to; if not my favorite it's on my top 3 list. My girlfriend drives past here about every other day just to tease me. read more

shoptexasgunexperience.com Ordered a vortex strike eagle from them for early Black Friday deal on 11/23/22 and on 11/25 they canceled my order due to out of stock. Their website showed the optic was in stock on 11/23 later in the day then again on 11/24. It would show in stock then out of stock from 11/23 to 11/25 . After getting my cancellation notice I called to see if I could remain in back order because of the awesome price but they told me they are not going to order any more and just cancel my order, in my eyes it was the wrong thing to do. They should have honored my order and let me remain on back order till the optic came back into stock. [Update] Luke reached out to me after my order was cancelled and went above and beyond to fix the issue at hand. They ended up making my purchase possible and honored my Black Friday price! Thank you to the team that made this all happen. Talk about following up and making it happen for a customer issue! read more

This business is great!! I came in looking for a knife with little knowledge of what I wanted. They had a lot of the best knife companies to pick from, I was struggling to decide on one. Luckily Kimmy, Knife Sales Supervisor, was super knowledgeable, had a lot of patience and was very kind. She guided me to an amazing knife and I couldn't be happier. read more

Today I had a great outing with my fiancé and best friends. Overall the experience was quite affordable and the range instructors for fantastic and showing us firearm safety. There was not one point in time that I felt unsafe or did I question the safety of the environment. After shooting my brother and I looked at several firearms and decided to buy one after the advice of Connor, Edward, and Justin. Every time I've bought a firearm previously I've never had actual first-hand encounter with someone nearly as knowledgeable as these gentlemen. We will now be always buying any firearm for self-defense weapon from Texas Gun Experience as they made for lifelong customers today read more

Beautiful store, lots of goodies to buy. Customer service at the gunsmith dept was superb.

Took over planning for a Bachelor party and TGE made it easy to plan with great packages and recommendations. Was able to create an experience for all that were involved. Amazing selection of full auto guns and great staff to make the event seamless. Have been to ranges where the Range Officer would make you feel stupid, didn't get any of that here and we had some people that had never shot a gun. Keep up the good work! read more

Daniel was my machine experience instructor and he was wonderful. He explained everything we would be doing step by step and it made the process easy. I was a little nervous at first but he made me feel calm . Great experience ! read more

came in for a firearm and i cannot be clearer with my words.... ask for joe and or especially Noel and these Gentlemen will certainly make your experience entertaining and pleasant. Their demeanor, energy, enthusiasm, and personalities certainly make what can at times be a Intimidating process, (that which is to buy a firearm), a joyus and educational experience. I very much so look forward to working with either or both of these gentlemen again. -Joshua Rael read more

I came into the Grapevine TGE and was immediately impressed how nice, organized and well-stocked it was. I had already decided on what I wanted, and though they didn't have the exact version I was looking for, the person who helped me said they could have it there in 3-4 days. He was knowledgeable and courteous, and he showed me one that was nearly identical to what I wanted. He answered all the questions I had and because of his effort, I was even more confident in my choice. I ordered the gun, and 2 days later I got a call saying it had arrived early and was ready for me to pick up. A different person initially started the paperwork and while that was processing, we had a great conversation during which I could tell he was highly knowledgeable and cared about my experience. During that time, my original salesperson walked by and said hello and congratulations, etc. Having been in sales for 4 decades, I was impressed how they handled the entire process. I can highly recommend TGE for a shop you'll enjoy doing business with. read more

Facilities are great, clean and organized. Just next time someone ran out of time, don't call the BOUNCER and kick people out of the range so rude. With a first time: "Hey guys you ran out of time" in a nicely way would be enough. I have been going most of the shooting ranges here at DFW and it was so rude. Everybody on the room got scared looking that big guy yelling at me. read more

Not to sound rude but what is VIP is it nice room only or is it service ?? Most people who buy this are used to both ... my husband and Bought into this and it's Not cheap we work had for our $$$ and lifestyle If you guys are going to use this room as a party room also and the VIP members will be told it's closed 2 weekends in a row row , and Told we have to wait for a bay to clear b4 we can use what we pay to be available it's not at all what I think most of the VIP guest expected when they signed up , if your going to do rental party's in the VIP room and events why isn't it done on slow days not on a Saturday night and not after hours VIP guest pay for this covenants and the room to be exclusive and available to them . Was everyone in that room VIP ? If so ... Then we have no issue but if it's just building revenue at our expense absolutely do feel like we were mislead on how this membership VIP platinum membership would be ? I think b4 people sign on the dotted line they need to know It's not exclusive it will be closed with no notice and you may be waiting in just a pretty room .... read more

Let me start off by saying that I will continue to come here because during this "pandemic", they haven't changed their pricing to take advantage of the situation. I've been to a lot of gun ranges and stores in the metroplex and this is by far the best. They've got a huge selection of knives, accessories, guns and ammo at a competitive price. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The range was very clean and I was really impressed that they are constantly circulating fresh air in the range. I'll definitely be going back. read more
