After patronizing Eagle Gun Range, I agree with the high rating. The attendant, an older gentleman with blue eyes and well kept hair and appearance answered all my questions politely. He informed me of their membership options without being pushy. They even let you shoot forced reset trigger/bump stock and shotguns in their indoor facility which I perceive to be a bit rare these days. I didn't have the full auto weapons but nice to know they allow it. I did enjoy my experience. Prices are probably in line with the market. Gun range shooting is never going to be the cheapest outing, but in the opinion of me and other citizens, it's a necessity to be able to practice our constitutional rights to shoot a gun. It had been probably a year or two since the last time I went shooting, but Eagle will be our place going forward. I recommend it highly.

Some officers I am friends with mentioned this store as being very nice but 2 things to know, it's better if you are ex military, and be prepared for higher prices. I live in a neighboring city and thought it was worth the try. I wanted to sell one of my handguns and online info was they paid fair value for used guns? I went in on 9/23 about 1 or 1:15pm and waited at the Gunsmith counter. In about 5 minutes I was waved over to the counter. The first thing I noticed was the employee did not look like ex military so I thought maybe there were other staff in different jobs. I explained why I was there and handed the employee my S&W box my gun was still in, never fired and in the same box and contents from when I bought it. The employee pulled out the Semi Auto .40 caber and took a quick look and told me what my gun was?? He then said there is no demand for these and the best I could do is $50! I was shocked naturally by not only the offer but his less than friendly/or professional his approach was. I smiled and said wow the pawn shop in Lewisville offered me $150 and I thought they were getting to me? He responded we can't sell these on GunBroker because we can't get our money out of them! I told him that I had been on GunBroker that morning to see what they were selling for and there were NONE for sale as used, and there were 2 sellers with new ones at $299 each in other states. He closed out by saying we can't resell those??? Just for the record my gun is a S&W .40 CALIBER SD MODEL 4". It was purchased new for $329 in April and was never used or fired. I purchased a used .45 S&W about 6 weeks later because that is the gun I wanted but new they were very expensive in the metroplex. I paid half what a new one would cost. I was only hoping to get a fair price for the .40 since I had replaced it but I made a mistake of coming to your store! FYI I had two older brothers serv in the military years ago and have a strong respect for the military! I chose to go into Law Enforcement after school instead. I would like to say the facility is beautiful but is more expensive than 3 other DFW gun stores/ranges. At this time I can't say if I would go back to your store due to pricing but mainly due to the employee I dealt with. He was not professional and actually was almost rude! He dealt with me and dismissed me in under 2 minutes and no one was in line behind me. He had NO desire to keep me as a customer for your store! If you are looking for a high class gun store and range this may be your place. Hopefully you are not trying to sell a firearm and you don't get this employee that I got! The really bad part is I made 2 prior trips to TGE before yesterday only to be told the "buyer" was not there? The first time he was at a late lunch and to come back in an hour. The second time he had not arrived yet? My wife was at a doctors appointment in Grapevine and I could not stay around and wait. Now I am sure that the 3rd time is NOT the charm! Good luck to you.

I misplaced (now found) my certificate that Scott signed and asked for them to forward me the copy they had (they make you sign two copies and tell you to reach out if you ever need it). They were unable to locate my information. After several less than professional emails back and forth I was just done. I decided I'd post a review on Facebook to catch their attention that I really needed their help and now that they got my money they were not helping me. This is when their unprofessional attitude came out even more... They replied with snarky remark saying I didn't pass my shooting class and for public safety I would lose my gun like I did with my certificate. I was shocked and went on a mass hunt for my certificate and found it! I sent them a private message asking for an apology for lying and not just apologizing and helping me before I posted pictures proving they were lying. It became clear after about 15 more comments of "satisfied" groupon customers to cover up his prior comment that he would not be apologizing and I just needed to end the conversation. It is what it is, they are unhelpful and unprofessional but I feel I need to make others aware it's all good and gravy until your unhappy... Then they attack you and refuse to help! He has continued to delete his comments and rewrite different attacking comments! I recommend reading all reviews, I see others saying communication was very unprofessional and people were ignored too!

He thoroughly explained the mechanics of a gun, how to grip it, and the proper shooting stance. When I started shooting, I was anxious, anticipating the recoil, and couldn't hit the correct target. Still, Henry took the time to help me get more comfortable and confident with shooting my gun.
