Having bought several class III items from these guys, I can say they have outstanding customer service. They spend an hour or so helping me get my son added to my trust and notarized these documents at no cost! How much better does it get! A truly one stop modern gun store. I can't say enough about their customer service! I am so glad they are local to me. C.R.

First of all I am not Ex Military but I am a retired Police Officer with 27 years service before…read moreretiring. Some officers I am friends with mentioned this store as being very nice but 2 things to know, it's better if you are ex military, and be prepared for higher prices. I live in a neighboring city and thought it was worth the try. I wanted to sell one of my handguns and online info was they paid fair value for used guns? I went in on 9/23 about 1 or 1:15pm and waited at the Gunsmith counter. In about 5 minutes I was waved over to the counter. The first thing I noticed was the employee did not look like ex military so I thought maybe there were other staff in different jobs. I explained why I was there and handed the employee my S&W box my gun was still in, never fired and in the same box and contents from when I bought it. The employee pulled out the Semi Auto .40 caber and took a quick look and told me what my gun was?? He then said there is no demand for these and the best I could do is $50! I was shocked naturally by not only the offer but his less than friendly/or professional his approach was. I smiled and said wow the pawn shop in Lewisville offered me $150 and I thought they were getting to me? He responded we can't sell these on GunBroker because we can't get our money out of them! I told him that I had been on GunBroker that morning to see what they were selling for and there were NONE for sale as used, and there were 2 sellers with new ones at $299 each in other states. He closed out by saying we can't resell those??? Just for the record my gun is a S&W .40 CALIBER SD MODEL 4". It was purchased new for $329 in April and was never used or fired. I purchased a used .45 S&W about 6 weeks later because that is the gun I wanted but new they were very expensive in the metroplex. I paid half what a new one would cost. I was only hoping to get a fair price for the .40 since I had replaced it but I made a mistake of coming to your store! FYI I had two older brothers serv in the military years ago and have a strong respect for the military! I chose to go into Law Enforcement after school instead. I would like to say the facility is beautiful but is more expensive than 3 other DFW gun stores/ranges. At this time I can't say if I would go back to your store due to pricing but mainly due to the employee I dealt with. He was not professional and actually was almost rude! He dealt with me and dismissed me in under 2 minutes and no one was in line behind me. He had NO desire to keep me as a customer for your store! If you are looking for a high class gun store and range this may be your place. Hopefully you are not trying to sell a firearm and you don't get this employee that I got! The really bad part is I made 2 prior trips to TGE before yesterday only to be told the "buyer" was not there? The first time he was at a late lunch and to come back in an hour. The second time he had not arrived yet? My wife was at a doctors appointment in Grapevine and I could not stay around and wait. Now I am sure that the 3rd time is NOT the charm! Good luck to you.

Time went pretty quick and I learned a lot in that amount of time. The shooting portion of the class was fun as well! Ty gave great instruction and took all of the perceived uneasiness out of the equation. I will definitely be sending other people to him to take the LTC class. Big plus!!! He also happens to be a local State Farm agent!

Excellent instruction and a genuinely valuable training experience…read more What stood out most was the instructor's deep understanding of movement, structure, and the "why" behind performance not just running drills. The session gave me a clear picture of where my strengths are and what I need to refine next. We worked through transitions, pacing, and confirmation levels in a way that pushed both speed and accountability, and the coaching was thoughtful without being overwhelming. I especially appreciated how adaptable the training was. I brought several different platforms and ran iron sights intentionally, and the instructor met me exactly where I was focusing on fundamentals, body mechanics, and efficiency instead of forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. If you want someone who blends technical knowledge with practical application and creates a professional, positive environment, I highly recommend training here with Grant. Great communication, great energy on the range, and I walked away with clear, actionable homework to keep improving.
