First time going to a gun range solo (out of state) . This range was super professional and everyone was nice and friendly. Very easy sign up and they had me at the range super quick, after I told them what I wanted to shoot. I'd would definitely come here again. If I lived in Dallas, I'd definitely consider a membership. read more

The employees of TGE were super helpful, knowledgeable and the best part super friendly. They help me get my new pew pew for this upcoming duck season. I'll be a custom for life! read more

Good morning....Just wanted to let ya'll know about my experience at TGE. I have been to other gun ranges , but this one is the absolute best. Clean, good prices and a very knowledgeable staff. I took a beginner handgun class with Chandler Perron and learned 3 times as much as some of the rest I've been to. Two of the best things they have to sell are a wide range of firearms and accessories and a great attitude....which is an absolute must. read more

There are a lot of good ranges in this area, so I thought I'd focus on what makes TGE different from the other ranges I have considered membership at. Customer service is excellent, both on the range and the sales floor. The TGE staff take the time to learn member's names and always make sure you are well taken care of. I have even had the owners stop me several times asking if there's anything they can do better. On the range RSOs are friendly and attentive. I am an experienced shooter but feel much safer with the RSOs around because of the not-so-experienced shooters. They have radios and can even have ammo brought out to you on the range. No RSOs on cell phones at this range. The retail space is open, bright, and very well stocked. There's a wide selection of firearms, accessories, ammo, and some seating areas should you prefer to have a seat to chat with friends. They also have a silencer shop kiosk on site for any NFA items. I'm happy to see TGE recently added some training for more experienced shooters, that was the only area I had hoped to see some improvement in. Way to go TGE! read more

Nice showroom and gun selection. I really liked the display cases with the Honey Badger and Sugar Weasel.

Great experience and service ! My friends and I came today to shoot and Aaron instructed us! The class we did was great with him making it engaging while being informational and kept it interesting!! After the class we got to shoot under his instruction to feel 100% comfortable before proceeding. great customer service from the front desk as we were a group with many questions. will be coming back!! read more

Johnny was awesome tonight in helping us find and purchase the exact gun we came in for! We will definitely be back to purchase items again and to use their range. Couldn't have asked for a better experience! read more

Very friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome and we quickly understood how to proceed. TGE rents shooting range lanes, sells rounds/bullets and rents handguns to try out. Boxes of popular rounds can be very expensive lately; otherwise, we thought the prices were reasonable. The parking lot was full, but we had no wait for an open lane. The facility is large and has a good variety of knives and handguns for sale. The lanes are in two rooms. Ours had excellent ventilation and good privacy walls on each side of the firing location. Space is adequate for two persons to share the lane. The only issue I had was with the range ceiling height. The target conveyors seemed to hold the target boards too low and we were aiming and shooting somewhat downhill. I don't recall having to do this at Shoot Smart for example. Overall a great experience and we will come back. read more

Really want to express my appreciation to Texas Gun Experience for my recent visit there and sorting out a firearm problem that I had. Another gunshop in Hurst had botched a job. Dan and the gunsmith department quickly resolved the issue and made me (again) a happy customer. I will keep coming back because the crew here do a great job with both Sales and support. read more

I work in the firearm industry and spend most of my time in gun stores, ranges, or industry related shops and this is one of the most professional places with extremely competitive pricing!! I tell everyone they need to visit this place at least once. On a side note, if you are a blade person get ready to spend some money, because the blade selection at the Blade Bar is better than ANY blade store I have seen!! read more

Cool place and the people there are really friendly and helpful and they have tons of knifes, guns and accessories. But man they are pretty expensive. If you can afford this place I would recommend it.If not you might want to go somewhere else. read more

This place is awesome. Staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I was looking for a particular pistol, but was somewhat undecided. The associate was patient and spent plenty of time explaining and recommending what would be perfect for me. They definitely know their inventory. In fact, when I realized they didn't have the particular pistol I was initially looking for, the young man that was helping me made a quick call and found the pistol at their sister location. Otherwise, just about anything you're looking for is on the shelf or in the cases. Their ammo section is kept well stocked, but like every place else, its pricey. It's on par with all other places right now because of the current ammo "shortage". The facility is modern and well maintained. I haven't shot at their range yet so I can't comment on that, but I have no doubt the range (I sort of peeked through the glass door) is state of the art. All in all, this is a great place to shop. I'll be trying their range out soon. I'll be back! read more

It was my first time shooting a gun. I was nervous and Hannah was very patient and helpful. It was intense in the best way ever! I went from never shooting a gun to shooting a machine gun haha. I had so much fun! It was very safe and clean during Covid and everyone helped me feel confident especially Hannah! I will be back one day :) read more

Look I am in no way a gun range or gun shop connoisseur. However, I checked this place out. It is new and very modern. I find it to be clean and the people there are so organized. They seem to have been split off by sales people, service people, greeters, Gun Range and safety experts. I think an expert person or a beginner could walk in here and find this place to be wonderful. My experience here was a good one and everyone is so friendly. I suggest if you are in the market for any guns, ammunition, accessories or just practice with what you already have, come here. You will not leave disappointed. read more

Went to Texas Gun Experience for the first time a few weekends ago and had a top tier experience. The service was great and all of the workers were extremely professional and helpful. First off, we walked in on a Saturday afternoon and they went out of their way to fit us in a lane before they had to start a wait time which was awesome. Then going into the range area the range safety officer was very cool and professional. Adding tips and pointers to all guests while making sure the guests were adhering to all of their safety rules as well. After our time on the range was over, we went into the main area to check out all the guns they had for sale. This is where I will give a specific shoutout to Joe behind the counter. He was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, let us hold a bunch of different pistols and told us about each one. I would go back to this place just because of his service alone. Highly recommend checking it out if you're on the fence about it! read more

Absolutely terrible service!!! Waiting 40 minutes just to get help to get one piece for my gun and by the time we were able to get help, they just sold the last piece. Terrible place with terrible customer service! The owner should be ashamed of hiring such incompetent staff!!! read more

Literally in the store right now and nobody has asked me if I need any help?? Where's this awesome customer service???

Took my LTC demo and rifle 1 at TGE. First class experience and facility. Would recommend.

We've been there a few times now and EVERY single time we have been blown away by the friendliness, helpfulness, and just overall great customer service we've received from all staff. Antoine at Range Check-In is just a great guy...so helpful and friendly. He really cares about what he is doing and wants you to be comfortable and have a great experience. Taylor is a sweetheart (besides being as cute as all get-out)! She took time out to show me around and explain the membership program to me (and we absolutely joined)!! Serena went out of her way to introduce herself to me the next time we came (because she was at lunch the time prior). Greg spent time helping me learn about different guns, asking what my goals were and educating me on the different factors to consider when choosing a gun, as well as helping me get started on the range, while my husband was having the time of his life with Walt doing his qualifying for license. We had an exceptional private training with Justin...learning a ton and having fun. In just one training session I felt so much more confident about what I was doing. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to get to know us. We felt like we made a new friend! He also took the time to introduce us to the training manager, Kevin, who also was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home, like part of the family. Then Steve (who helped us with our gun purchase because Justin had another training lesson to start) was so patient and kind...it was a super busy day and he was slammed, but he never once made us feel like we were a bother, even though I know he needed to get to his lunch. Top notch, all the way around! We couldn't be happier and are so glad to be members! read more

So I am not the traditional gun person, but this shop is sooooo welcoming of all experience levels. After dating my fiancé for several years, I decided to make the plunge and learn more. First person I met was Olivia. She is the sweetest human alive and was very informative on guns. She made it super easy to choose my first gun. She then recommended a private lesson with Kevin to be able to try the gun and learn more. I then signed up for a lesson with Kevin. He is the nicest person alive. He went over the gun step by step and we thought through scenarios. I am usually really nervous around guns, but his confidence was contagious. By the end, I was sold that I needed my first gun. The fates lined up as they had my gun in orchid. Now I am a part time florist, so this little touch lit me up even more. Then Olivia talked with me about adding a light. She was so attentive that I knew how to operate it and that it was comfortable. I am so happy to have found this welcoming shop. I have already signed up to get my concealed carry license through them too!!! read more

Excellent service and very good certification 100% recommended. They are super professional and also have very good security measures.

Great shooting experience! Easy check in and check out range was clean. Great staff and range masters.

I found this shop on Yelp and drove over an hour to check it out. Robert and the team were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Robert took the time to listen to what I was looking for and showed several solid options. After checking out the incredible selection we settled on what I consider my best purchase to date. Absolutely fantastic experience and a great caliber of experts. I will be back. read more

I came in to get a gift for my fiancé and had no idea where to start. It's a pretty big place with so many selections and I had no knowledge with guns, the purpose of each kind, or the different kind of bullets available. The staff there were super friendly and helpful every time we came in. Thanks to Noel, I got to look at a bunch of different kind of guns from handgun, shotguns, and hunting guns. He was also very helpful in educating me on which guns were best for my style and I was able to purchase my first gun from that visit. Will def be back with my fiancé for some range time! read more

I literally just got home from visiting Texas Gun Experience. Hands down, the nicest, cleanest and most staff-friendly gun range I have ever visited in my life. This place was amazing. The range master even helped us sight-in a new optic for our long rifle, and he did it with a smile on his face. Whoever is training this staff in customer service should be given a raise. Keep up the good work and see you next time. read more

We visited from Israel and we were very impressed by the costumer service and high quality indoor shooting range. We rented the fully automatic Kriss Vector and silenced MP5. Definitely one of the top indoor shooting ranges in the Dallas, TX area. They also have a massive collection of guns and rifles to buy plus all the accessories and gear that your average gun owner would be looking for. read more

Awesome facility. The employees here are top notch, the selection is extensive, prices are fair. I have been shooting since I was a wee lass, but hadn't been to the range since pre lockdown times. I grew up shooting revolvers, tried semi automatic for the sake of CCW but it just wasn't my cup of tea, so I sold my Ruger LC9S and bought a Taurus 856 .38SPL 3" at a gun shop. Since I am out of practice and want to start going to the range regularly again, I wanted set of eyes on me. I did a one hour private lesson with Donna and she was awesome. We discussed my experience and reason why I chose to go back to a revolver, discussed the 4 rules of gun safety, and discussed what I hoped to achieve. She asked me to show her my grip and stance. We put on our eye and ear protection and went to the range. Although I had dry fired the new firearm at the gun shop where I bought it, it had a VERY heavy trigger pull. Never had an issue before with either evolved or semi automatic, but it was causing problems (I sound like an idiot, I swear I'm not). We left the range to speak to the on site gunsmith about options to lighten the trigger pull. He worked his magic and now it is perfect. These folks were patient and understanding as well as professional. I highly recommend this facility for beginners and experienced folks alike! read more

Dope spot for a first time shooter. Staff extremely friendly and were ready to answer any and all questions. Took the safety training and Cameron was my instructor. Very passionate and knowledgeable especially with his background from the Marines. Checked a box off the bucket list and definitely will be returning when back in Dallas or Texas in general. read more

The staff here was fantastic! We got in just a couple minutes before closing time on New Year's Eve and they were more than happy to serve us. They have an incredible supply of ammo and guns and they are great shooting range. One thing they did for us is look up the gun that my husband was looking for and make sure they could get it in the time that we needed. So, they got our business and we came back a few days later to complete our purchase. read more

Beautiful, clean facility. Wonderful staff. Love the ambiance. Enjoy shooting other weapons on Fridays.

I would first like to say thank you to Olivia , Steve and Noel . I have worked with Olivia before however last weekend was the first time I got to interact with Steve and Noel. Very professional, extremely helpful ,if you can't find Olivia . Noel and Steve are even better to work with lol. Last I wanted to say my experience at the Blade Bar was awsome . Special thank you to Alice and Fletcher, I have never meet two people more knowledgeable and helpful as these two. Got my first fixed blade knife and I can't stop telling my friends about them and my new knife. So stop reading this and go see them immediately. read more

Best gun range I have been to thus far. All the staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Selection of guns one of the best I've ever seen/used. They have a mini gun and a Gatling gun which my wife shot and are insane. Definitely will go back anytime I'm in Texas and only if California could have the cool ass guns they have. read more
