Went to check out the place on a work trip since it was so highly rated. Was decently crowded so I was optimistic. I had a hankering for some Indian food so I was expecting some decent Indian food. Boy was I wrong. I should have been worried when I took a look at the menu. It was all over the place with Japanese, Korean, Thai and Indian dishes scattered everywhere. I love variety but more times than less it's just a shotgun strategy with no one dish shining. Maybe I ordered the weak dish in the menu tonight ...who knows. So I ordered the butter chicken over the tikka Marsala on the advice of the server. Knowing how the spice levels are completely subjective I asked the server about the crown levels - their spice rating. I used peppers for reference so I used jalapeño or habanero spicy. He said habernero for two crowns. Keep in mind there's a zero to three crown level. So I went with one crown figuring one step below habanero would be good. I ordered some garlic naan as well. So I get my dish and it's pretty in the traditional metal bowl. So I'm excited. But then I look at the rice that's accompanying it. Jasmine rice. FAIL. I get it - you do Thai dishes in your menu and probably just saving money and serving just one rice instead of both jasmine and basmati. But to me it's like serving spaghetti pasta for Mac and cheese and calling it Mac and cheese. Rice is cheap - for God's sake just make some basmati - do you think people wouldn't notice? FAIL. Moving on ...so I taste the butter chicken. Ab-so-lut-ly Zero spice. Nada. Zilch. And to boot all I can taste is the sickening sweetness of Campbell's tomato soup. I swear if they didn't put some condensed tomato soup in there and just added cream. If not it sure damn tastes like it. And that's ALL I taste. No complexity or layering of flavors. Just cream of tomato soup. Oh and the naan was just one piece the size of a small corn tortilla. For $3. Cmon man - Really? Like I said maybe I got unlucky with a bad choice? Everything was excellent. Beyond excellent. Good service. Seated promptly despite being 15 minutes early for our reservation. Cool ambience. We had vegetable samosas, butter naan, chutney setup, brick road tikka masala with paneer and red curry duck. Highly recommend all. Vodka Bombay buck and mai tai were also delicious and consistent through a couple of rounds. Seriously considering canceling our reservations for the rest of our trip and just returning to this place. Portions were very generous as well - took plenty home with us. Do not bring your patronage here. Came in with a 20 month old at 4:41 and were told to come back at 5p rudely by a man at the front station asked if we could sit in the bar area and were told they'd prefer if we just come back at 5p they'd be ready then. So we went down street had a cocktail and came back promptly at 5p where the lady at the front station asked us if we had a reservation. We Said no the man did not indicate we needed one just to come back at 5p which we did had he told us he was booked for the night we wouldn't have bothered to come back at 5p. The baby just wanted fried rice and we would eat and leave he doesn't sit beyond 30 min anyway but they claimed that although they weren't going to have any seatings until 6p and the restaurant was empty except for one table that they could not turn over fried rice in an hour! Their sincerest apologies and when I saw the man I asked him why he told us to come back with our toddler at 5p if they didn't have availability! And he just ignored me as if he didn't know what I was talking about and I stopped him and said don't walk away and ignore me why did you tell us to come back at 5p if you had no availability and he said "I'm so sorry" that's all they would say. If you've ever been with a hungry toddler then you might understand but for a person to tell you to come back knowing they had no availability is unacceptable and they were just the rudest establishment I've ever encountered in the world. Had dinner earlier at Teton Tiger. Didn't figure it out whether is it a Thai or an Indian restaurant. The outdoor patio seating area was decent but everything else was downhill. The wine glass was covered in wine, even the table got stained, the food was not some I would come again for and the worst was the service! We ordered another dish to our original order and they didn't bring it even 25 minutes after we were done eating. The server never came to ask us or to giveaway an update on the order or apologize for the poor kitchen staff they obviously have. I had to finally cancel and leave. Would never recommend this place. They were surprisingly busy because every restaurant in Jackson Hole is busy for dinner. That's the only reason they survive, otherwise they would be long closed if it was for the food and the service. read more

The chicken dumplings were very small, only 4 were in an order for $12, definitely over priced. 20% gratuity was added to the takeout order. $52 for three items seemed high but everything around here is. We were promptly seated and got lucky to get there at opening time because by the time we left there was a 30 minute wait (Saturday). They have a daily happy hour from 5:30-6:30 which includes half off wine, beer and a selected cocktail. Cocktail was delicious and inventive. We ordered the salad with cabbage to start and that was nicely done and refreshing. Hint of horseradish and spice. Other apps were the ribs, the dumpling and the broccoli. The ribs were tender and slightly sweet. The dumplings were not classic and more like a soup dumpling or wonton. Not great, not terrible. The broccoli sadly felt like soggy frozen broccoli tossed in a generic Asian stir fry sauce. Definitely pass on this. Overall, based on the apps and salad I was excited to try the mains. I ordered the tikka and unfortunately it fell way short. I was so excited and it ended up being some of the worse curry I've ever had. It was edible and good portion with chunks of chicken but simply had no depth at all. My friend got the butter chicken and that was a true miss. Tasted like sweetened canned tomato soup. The noodle dishes and ramen looked excellent and well portioned. I heavily debated taking another star off for service but held off. The service is relatively efficient but it is cold and not very friendly. After spending 5 nights in this area and being overall impressed by the food scene I was let down by this place and would not rush to go back. read more

Don't do it - my girlfriend and I ate here after a long day of hiking and exploring. We were seated at the window/bar and the table was permanently sticky. We tried to wipe it down ourselves with a rag from an unbussed table from the seating area towards the back of the restaurant but it wouldn't come clean. Very odd. We ordered the street ribs, dumplings, lettuce wraps, and green beans. The food was old, drab and barely warm, it felt like the food had been sitting for a very long time in hotel pans although it came out quickly. As a restaurant professional I found this to be disturbingly odd and scary. The ribs were grayish, very acidic, and inedible. The lettuce wrap filling was floating in liquid almost like a bowl of cereal. The green beans were over cooked, not fresh, and very salty. The dumplings were a gross mushy lukewarm mess. The old food was disguised by garnishes that weren't fresh either. We didn't finish anything and left pretty quickly after our food was served. The staff was drinking on the job. Women's restroom was out of service. We both felt unwell after. We were excited to try this place out. Sad it was so disappointing. read more

Favorite restaurant in Jackson! Not always best service, but always great food. Cute restaurant and fun high top area! Love the food and come back consistently. Getting back into a bigger town, the first thing my wife requests is Asian food! We were fortunate enough to find this spot. It's a fusion of basically everything, but as soon as you walk in you know it's primary is going to be Indian/curry. We ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was delicious, we got 2 out of 3 on spice and it had a solid kick. My wife also go their ramen, it came with a few pieces of braised pork belly and an egg. Food here is a little above average. Tikka masala is a bit on the tangy side. I added chicken to my drunken noodles($18+4=$22). My son had the duck curry ($22 w/ very little duck meat). Wife had the Shanghai, and youngest son had the momma's Ramen. I was surprised that they added 20% tip automatically, total turn off. We usually tip 20% typically at these types of restaurants anyway for descent effort and 23-25% for good- excellent. It was descent. 50-50 we may be back if we are in town. We'll see. read more

What a find among the many Jackson eateries! Everything was delicious and the service friendly and attentive. For example, they put a water bottle on the table and it's constantly rotated for a full one. The thing about Indian food is that the dishes ALWAYS look tiny and you think you're getting ripped off but they are beyond filling. Chicken lettuce wraps, cup of soup, veggie samosas (2 in the order), butter chicken, Shanghai noodles for the three of us. We were one dish too many and left with bellyaches. Started with coconut curry soup that the kid didnt like because it had too much "lettuce" in it. The big kids however loved it. Everything was fresh and delish. The noodles were the weak link of the evening. Thick and slimy and a bit on the gross side when you are starting to feel full. The food here is pretty good actually. But there is something to be said for how a business treats a customer that makes them want to come back...or not in our case. The biggest driver is that they charge a nonnegotiable 10% gratuity to a takeout meal (I tried negotiating out of it). Quite frankly, that's B.S. Especially when I have to go back because they forgot the rice that was supposed to come with the curry. So yeah, great service. I believe they also charge a mandatory gratuity when you stay to eat also, but they up it to 15%... so you have that to look forward to. Scoff. read more

The inside has an eclectic vibe and the servers were all very friendly. We started with some unique cocktails that were pricey but worth it. Our food was phenomenal!
