This greens are no joke. Running at 13+ with undulations made hilarious frustration. Rooms were classic modern furnishings and clean. Balcony over looks the course for an expansive view. Breakfast service was friendly and courteous. Very quiet. Same spot for no vibe 19th hole drinks. Bartender needs service training. Better to go out into town for the after round. Clubhouse service snootiness was expected and experienced with the lavishly expensive price for a round of golf $$$$. Merch designs not impressive enough to buy. I had a great time at Tetherow. I was there for a conference. It's a beautiful resort with plenty of amenities such as two hot tubs, a heated pool, steam room, sauna, gym, walking trails, restaurants and golf. Most of the employees were friendly and spoke when they saw me. Many of the employees were helpful. My room had everything I needed including two beds, a large shower, a patio with a table and two chairs, toiletries, a Nespresso coffee maker (also included coffee, tea, sugar, honey, and creamer). The room had a sink, microwave, and mini fridge. There was also a couch, good quality tv, and a fire place. I liked that I've was available and it was pre-bagged to ensure cleanliness. The bathroom had a his and her sink setup, the shower is separate from the toilet, and the air conditioner was perfect, when needed. My only dislike about the room was the outlet near the bed. There was only one outlet available for a device that was not a phone or laptop. I needed to hook up a medical device and the outlet was too far from the top of the bed. I used the hot tub, sauna, steam room, and trails. At times, the women's locker room was a dirty mess. It would have been nice for someone to stay on top of keeping it clean. During the conference, we were served food, coffee, tea, and drinks. All the staff attending to us were great. Anything we needed, they provided it. I would for sure visit again! read more

We love Tetherow. The location is great, the rooms are nice and the pool area etc are perfect. We have stayed there multiple times and it's perfect for skiing at Mt Bachelor, only a 20 minute drive to the slopes. read more

We stayed at Tetherow for 6 nights. The room was spacious and overlooked the golf course. I noticed the information card on our table once in the room that if you wanted your room cleaned you needed to call 24 hours in advance, otherwise, no maid service during the stay. Really! I'm paying over $700 a night plus another $100 for the amenities of the resort yet no maid service. I called after day three to request maid service the following day. We were out of toilet paper, glasses and cups and towels and needed a refresh of the room. I received a text the following day at 4 pm, which is generated by AI not a real person, that the resort was unable to fill our request and if I needed anything to call the front desk. I called and requested new towels and toilet paper be delivered to our room. When we got back, we had new towels but no wash clothes and toilet paper. But, whoever dropped the towels off left all the old towels. I then went to the front desk to pick up some wash clothes and had to wait over 20 minutes for the person to retrieve them. By the time we left our room after 6 nights, our room was a mess with all the glasses and paper cups used, a pile of towels, lots of trash and no espresso coffee pods left for the last morning. I felt like I was cleaning up after us when I thought I was on vacation. We would not stay there again. read more

I tried twice to call the resort to confirm our reservation, as the reservations are made on OpenTable under "The Pavillion," but also say "Solomon's," which I gather is their old restaurant name, and I didn't want to end up with plain restaurant reservations when I wanted the brunch event. However, upon calling, I was told "The Row" is hosting Easter Brunch. No wait, "banquets" is hosting. No wait, call the Food & Bev manager. No wait, I'll transfer you to some random voicemail. Y'all need to get it together. This is embarrassing and I have no confidence that when we show up on Sunday morning, there will be a table for us. I tried to send this message to the staff via the OpenTable reservation page, which they link to from their Easter Brunch page, but it was not able to be delivered for whatever reason - I can only assume it's been abandoned like everything else. We positively, absolutely loved our stay at the Tetherow. After a long drive across snowy Tombstone Pass and a day of skiing at Bachelor, we were ready for some pampering. Tetherow as barely more expensive than Loge across the street, so we stayed here. It was lovely! Staff was very polite, if standoffish. They gave us an upgrade so we had a balcony with a view. The room was luxurious and included a hand-written thank you note and cookies. I loved that they had a Nespresso machine. Nespresso is delicious and keurig, while serviceable, is not very good. The spa was a tad crowded but still lovely after a day of skiing. I'd totally stay again. read more

We stayed at the resort in the Cascade building. The room was very comfortable and good size. We also had a nice size balcony with panoramic views of golf course Sisters and Bachelor mountains. The Row restaurant is a very sufficient place to eat and drink. The bed is comfortable. The pillows are small and need more fill. read more

We paid over $400 a night to stay here for three nights. The view is lovely. The management of this place is COMPLETELY incompetent. We pulled in to our room at 6pm today after having dinner in downtown Bend, and we could not park our car. All the spots were taken, multiple vehicles were illegally parked along the curbs, and it was just complete chaos. Turns out there was an unannounced (to us) concert in the area, and Tetherow was allowing all these people to park in their lots. We are paying over $400 a night, and we could not park our car. We literally had to park at least a 1/2 mile away. I went to the front desk to complain, and was told "well you can park anywhere you want". REALLY? So I can park in Prineville and walk my way in??? THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! What an inconsiderate, nasty, idiotic response. Don't stay here. You will regret it. read more

This place is not worth the money if you want to get pampered - it did not have the level of hospitality I expected from a "luxury hotel." Throughout our stay, even though we only inquired about a few basic hotel perks, we felt like an inconvenience to the staff. We stayed onsite in a king bed room. The room was all right, but the tv did not work. The room was also not particularly clean: there were a number of gnats on the bathroom sink, and it was evident that the dresser drawers had not been wiped down between guests. In the bathroom, the glass in the shower was dirty, and the grout was a dark brown. I think we were even more disappointed by the customer service and lack of amenities. When we first arrived at 2:30 pm and were told that our room was not ready, we dined at the Row. There were at least five people on staff in the front, and only two other tables, but we still had to wait ten minutes to even get seated, and another ten or fifteen to order. The whole experience made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. We experienced similarly slow service at the pool cafe that evening: two people working, no other customers in the vicinity, but it still took fifteen minutes to make us two cocktails. It's one thing if the place is busy, but that was not the case here. The amenities are lacking as well. The hotel does not offer room service, despite having several restaurants onsite. Their main restaurant is closed. The pool was too crowded during the day (on a Monday afternoon, no less) to use. The resort brags about a shuttle service to downtown Bend, but it was wholly unavailable during our stay. The resort has so much potential - thanks to the upscale buildings, location, and listed amenities - but the management and overall ambiance leaves much to be desired. For what you're paying... Not great... at all. I expect that when I stay at a Top 100 Golf "resort" that they at least come with some bougie ass amenities. Now, I should have done my research so I have to take some of the blame here. So lemme start off with saying that the hotel rooms are nice, clean and the view of the course is great. But here comes my nitpicking. For $1,500 a for the weekend 1.) The tv sucks! I've been to motels with bigger tv's. On top of that, it's not even a smart tv so we couldn't connect to any streaming. Also, they don't even have any options on the tv menu to get any On Demand movies... Holiday Inn even offers that. WTF?! 2.) No massage options at a golf resort?!?! What is this, Stalin Russia?! 3.) No room service. WTF?! 4.) Being an out of towner, it would be nice for the hotel to give me some details about the area. The room doesn't have a binder with local attractions, things to do, golf pricing... nothing. Better figure it out for yourself. 4.) Lastly, I'm a coffee man. I want to be able to have my coffee first thing in the morning. So I always bring my K-Cups with me so I'm prepared. And this damn joint has a flippin Nespresso machine... the fuck?! Is this Europe?! The entire world uses K-Cups and y'all decide to go with the B version. I bet they bought a Beta machine when VHS came out too. Needless to say, these are all 1st world problems. I have not played golf with this course but I did attend a holiday party in one of the banquet rooms. This is a pretty nice location staffed buy some truly exceptional people. The space is big but not so big everybody feels separate from each other, big enough that you don't feel like you feel packed in like some sardines. I ordered a couple of drinks from the bar and Taylor was exactly the type of bartender you want. Knowledgeable, fast and efficient yet super friendly. You hardly notice that you're spending 10 bucks a drink when you have somebody who really cares about customer service and it's genuinely nice such as Taylor. The grounds, from what I could see, looked beautiful and this is definitely location that I would like to play around of golf at in the future. I just need to get better at the game and perhaps I will find myself here again. read more

We had around 170 people, standing. There was more than enough space. The outdoor patio with the stunning view and massive fire pit was ideal. All of the food was great but everyone lost their minds over the bbq brisket which was a late add for us. I hope to have more events at Tetherow and can't recommend it enough. read more

We stayed in Cottage #23 just before Xmas. Nice townhouse, new and compact. About 20-25 min to Bachelor ski area and 10-15 min to downtown Bend. So, all's good. Well, that was until we noticed something overnight had chewed through our pastries and other food item packages on the kitchen counter and eaten our food !! Notified management next AM and requested a comp day for our 3 day visit. They set up trap and ended up giving us 20% off 1 day only. Told us it was "common to have rats even in the hotel too." Gotta be kidding me, right?? Glad we didn't stay in the hotel, EEK is right!! We weren't up to arguing about the comp day in the reception area. Trap caught one of the culprits (see photo). Marine Corps League, 1308 held our 249th Marine Corps Ball there on Sunday, Nov 10th. We were quoted 41.00 A meal. Marine Corps League sold tickets at $55.00. Minimal profit but these funds provide scholarships to high school students. Prime rib, salmon, chicken, or vegetarian. 3 different people on the committee read the contract. We've never had a contract with any of the providers previously. Tetherow had slipped in "Chef's choice". What would that mean? When meals began to be served, a small salad was presented. Then the main dish. Over 60% had ordered prime rib. This is what we were served. An approximately 2" wide x 5" long of mashed potatoes with 2, 3/8" thick slices of TRI-TIP on top with gravy. Nothing else, no vegetables... Tri-tip at the cost of $12.00 a lb. prime rib at the cost of $41.00 a lb. (my figures may be off a little bit but you get the point) 240 people attended. 60% of 240, 144 meals x $29.00, $4176.00. PROFIT on top of what they were already making. 2 hard drinks, and 1 non-alcoholic beer that was delivered to the table 15 minutes after I ordered and paid for. (1 walk-up bar only, no servers, make shift). 36.70. Then they had no Grand Marnee to complete a Cadillac. The drink tasted like crap! I believe it's called a Chevy. We spent over $7000.00 on alcohol. 7 uncorking fees, $210.00. When 144 of us received tri-tip instead of prime rib! Complaints were raised immediately and a negative atmosphere against Marine Corp League 1308. However unannounced to us, the "chef's choice". Who does that to the very people who served, fought, and died for this country so that this same business and millions of others don't serve under communism? ABSOLUTELY POTHETIC, that is what this is. We will NEVER have any future activities with this "putting profit" 1st before VALOR business. And HIGHLY recommend out of protest and support for active duty and veterans, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS or any of its affiliates. I don't usually stay at "lodges" because first off, we use hotels as a stopping point on our way to our final destination. However, this time this was our final destination and we picked a perfect place - come to find out. We also can't really afford to stay at such lodges but they had an awesome special so there you have it. We needed a break from it all and they delivered big time. It's during the more quiet time, as no snow and not a lot of golf going on. We don't golf or ski so we took advantage of that in-between time of not a lot of guests. The room was more than we expected it to be, complete with a wonderful view, to a little patio outside of our room, gas fireplace, to a big bathroom, big comfy bed, and big surprise for my dog. They had a bed for him, some cookies, and of course doggie bags. Even their dog fee was nothing compared to some other places that aren't a quarter as nice as this lodge is. Location of room was awesome as we were downstairs off in a corner so super quiet. I loved their Nespresso machine and the coffee was delicious in the morning. We even went to their restaurant "The Row" twice for dinner just because we didn't want to leave the area. We did hit up Bend for breakfast and a brewery earlier and this location is enough to be out of the city but not enough to drive there in 10 minutes if that. Customer service was charming, sweet and very helpful, none of that snobby feeling you get sometimes at other places like this. We stayed for one week in one of the houses on the Tetherow property. There were 6 adults and three children under 3. I give our stay a solid 3-star-okay-review. There was positive and negative, but nothing amazing or awful. First of all, I think this resort is geared more for adults and older children. Definitely not toddlers. The house we rented was 5 bedroom, which is great, but the layout was a bit awkward for our sleeping situation. 4 of the bedrooms are downstairs. Three of them had large beds and bathrooms and one had a pull out couch, which worked for our 3 year old, however that room was across the house right by the kitchen and great room where all the noise happens after the littles go to bed. We cranked up the sound machine to help alleviate noise. The 5th room was through a hall and upstairs in a rec room. It had two sets of bunk beds which didn't work for the age of our kids. Thankfully the resort has pack and plays for the babies and we brought the monitor. I will say, our bed was very soft which I like. The house was well stocked with kitchen equipment and some essentials (the toilet paper is super cheap 1-ply though). They even had a full game cabinet with games for all ages, even the preschooler! There was a hot tub and gas fire pit and large table to eat outside. Unfortunately, it was really hot during our stay and no shade on the back patio the entire day. Also, the wildfire smoke lent to "unhealthy" air quality. I wish they had at least one patio umbrella so we could have sat out more when the air quality lent to it. This leads to the most negative part of our stay. The AC was broken. It was over 95° for the majority of our stay and the maintenance man was there trying to help 2-3 times a day for several days. I wish I caught his name as he tried so hard to help, even having to bring a hairdryer to unfreeze the coils but the temperature never got below 75° in the house. I was really disappointed that the staff didn't do anything to help. On our last day they brought over a bottle of wine as consolation. Unfortunately many people in our party aren't drinkers so the gesture fell a little flat. Since the reservation wasn't booked by us I don't know if ultimately they credited anything after our stay. There is a small play structure in the middle of the "neighborhood" which our almost-4-year old enjoyed a couple of times. Other than inside the structure, though, there is little shade. The pool is a decent size and there are 2 hot tubs. I will say, though, that even during the pandemic, there are not enough lounge chairs and again, few umbrellas. It was frustrating to come in the afternoon and only a few chairs in direct sun were available, especially with the babies. They have rentable cabanas I believe you can rent for 4 hr increments, but they are not poolside. I think part of the crowd is because homeowners in the giant Tetherow complex may also come use the facilities there are a lot of locals that also come for a swim or relax. All in all, if our AC was working it probably would have been a better stay but I wouldn't come back with small children. read more

There is not much more to say other than, visit Tetherow. If you come to Bend it will be well worth your time to come check out this resort and community located just minutes from skiing at Mt. Bachelor from November to June and MTB trails July to September. Tetherow also has its own year round access to excellent MTB trailheads as well. Golf, excellent design of a David McLay Kidd course but this is not an easy resort course, bring your crying towel. Check it out online and enjoy the Golf Boards. Hotel, excellent and fantastic in all respects.The rooms and views are one of a kind. We've stayed as guests and have put people up with each visit scoring a 10. Peak times are well, peak times, so adjust your attitude accordantly. Pool and health club, was to our liking and possibly one of the best we've ever visited. I am sad to see someone had a less than positive experience, we did not just the opposite. Facility is run very professionally, top notch with top notch equipment and classes. Restaurants, great food and drinks, two full restaurant, one casual and one fancy but both we found to have very high levels of customer service and food prep. Great value. Bar, well we had fun. Enough said. We got to visit the member area and it just got more excellent'er. Members at this club are by far the best ever. The property itself, hard to find any fault. The overnight stays (private houses not hotel) are incredible and the private homes on property are something lottery dollars should be spent on. If you can afford it move your Sun Valley, Vail, or Aspen dollars here. read more

My husband, two young children and I visited Bend over Labor Day weekend to escape the horrible smoke in the Boise area. Our trip was spontaneous (day-of) and we were so happy to find such an amazing deal at Tetherow! We had a golf course view which added so much value to our stay. We lived out on the patio and enjoyed watching sunrises, sunsets, animals & golfers. The beds were insanely comfortable, the room was spacious and cozy, and the complimentary bags of ice were such a nice touch. We opted out of daily housekeeping but guest services graciously and promptly dropped off a pack n play, coffee pods and extra sheets when requested! We will definitely recommend this property to others and hope to return sooner than later! read more

The Row is a new-ish (as of mid December 2013), casual pub-styled "all people are welcome" restaurant at Tetherow Golf Club. Just down the sidewalk from and in a separate building than The Bar and Grill at Tetherow Golf Club, The Row ads say this: Food. Drink. Views. Yep. Unless you're on your way to or from Mt. Batchelor for skiing or coming to or from Cascades Lakes hikes in the summer months or going to Tetherow for golf during the season, The Row requires a bit of a pilgrimage trip from east or west sides of Bend. But worth it if our first visit is any indication. In particular if they offer seating on the adjacent outdoor deck in summer. (See Seating.) VIBE Very casual,. Unexpectedly spare design. Color palate of Dijon, paprika and black on walls and ceilings with some accents of end cut logs. Tables are paprika colored laminate. Views of Tetherow golf course out the windows. A huge television takes center stage on a feature wall lined with end cut logs. This is where skiers, bikers or golfers stop in and, if today was typical, families on vacation. Come as you are. Fun. SEATING High stool seating at the bar and a few tables. As "hooray" comment, maybe 70% of seating is at standard height tables and chairs or banquettes. Noted that during a pretty busy late lunch time, like 1:30 on, when we were in that the tables that filled up first were the standard heights. Several moms with children, families of all ages, construction managers from the hotel project next door, a trio in their ski duds, us.... More "hooray" there is enough space between tables to avoid "sardine can" seating of so many other Bend eateries. The Bar and Grill and The Row are buffered by a lovely outdoor deck between them. When I asked if The Row would be serving on the deck come warmer weather or if Bar and Grill would continue to be only user of that space, the server wasn't sure. So maybe outdoor seating...let's hope. MENU & FOOD Open at 11a and serving straight through to "close" with same menu used all day. Two sided with lots of options ranging from small plates to salads to burgers and sandwiches to entrees in prices from @$7 to $19. There are options on menu to please omnivores to vegans to those who follow special diets like paleo or gluten free. Since The Row shares the kitchen and chef with The Bar and Grill next door, good food there, we expected The Row's food to be good too. Expectations were met. We shared goat cheese stuffed jalapeno peppers (roasted not fried, thumbs up) @$7 and share a bowl of soup and sandwich combo @$12. The kitchen was nice enough to split the latter for us in plating and there was no split fee which we thought was darned nice of them. Spicy tortilla soup was delicious, although oddly only lukewarm when served. It may have been waiting in the kitchen. (See service.) The BLT sandwich was top notch. We're choosey about animal protein sources and appreciated the bacon was identified as sourced from Carlton Farms (Oregon producer). Rye bread available here too. Nice. LIBATIONS Full bar. Several local beers on tap it seems. Good coffee by local roaster 11R @ $2.50 / cup. SERVICE Very friendly but there is work to do. Two staff on duty on a busy Friday afternoon. First, the bartender who was doing an admirable job tending bar and taking table orders given there was just one server on duty. She may have been newer to the craft because as friendly as she was there were long periods where she simply disappeared. At least three tables (one of them us) had to get up and wander to try to find her or tag the bartender for something left off the order. Neither water glasses nor coffee cup refilled. No follow up after food was delivered. (Hence the having to "chase service" described above.) There was a long wait for the food (bartender finally delivered ours). Another long wait between finishing the meal and plate pick up. No offer of dessert was made. That kind of thing. Two management actions could help. Looks like wait staff could use some training and a little on floor supervising to reinforce skills. Good attitude and friendlly is a big plus here, so skills training should be easy. Also put another wait person on floor so that super efficient bar tender can remain behind the bar most of the time. THIS N THAT 1) PARKING: The private lot seems generously sized this time of year. But I've been at Tetherow at the height of golf season and parking can be tough to come by. Just a heads up. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Looks like ample accessible parking in the lot, although the majority is at the furthest end of the lot from The Row. Level in the door and throughout. Accessible loos, both "he" and "she". Lots of standard height seating. 3) WIFI: Free. 4) NEIGHBORS: A new small hotel (50 rooms?) is being built next door, associated with Tetherow resort development it should be open by mid April they say. read more

Overall, while its a beautiful resort to suit your guest's accommodation needs, Tetherow is a private golf club. Members are priority one and with seasonal staff, it's a hit or miss, inconsistent experience. Held my wedding there late September. Onsite Wedding Coordination 5 stars: Tara did a wonderful job following up and answering my many questions and requests. She went above and beyond doing her best to make our day special. Amenities & Accommodations: 5stars. The houses all have 5 bedrooms. One bedroom with a queen pull-out. Each room is spacious and the kitchen has everything you could need for basic cooking. Each house has a deck, a Jacuzzi and a fire pit. The lodge rooms are beautiful. Lots of room with large jacuzzi tubs. With a restaurant, brew pub and poolside cafe, there are plenty of dining options. The pool is amazing and the cabanas provide perfect shading and space. The ceremony site needs little to no decoration as it overlooks the very picturesque golf course. Resort Service Overall: 2 stars. A few incidences lead me to this rating. First after discussing at length my guests golfing during their stay, the resort booked a golf tournament over Friday & Saturday without informing me. I found out after emailing our coordinator about the idea of booking some tee times for guests. Once I noticed and shared my concerns about the tournament, I received a sorry but not sorry response. Third, I specifically ordered gluten free items from my baker who labeled and separated them for my celiac guests. The staff mixed up the bins and didn't label any of the cookies or cupcakes thus leaving many people empty handed. Fourth, the vacation home rental and check-in process is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. I gave the house guest list to the staff four separate times for the four vacation rentals my husband and I booked and still had to correct it. When I asked for early check-in or late check out, (as I could see on VRBO the houses were vacant days before and after my rental), I received the response they couldn't accommodate me and if 11AM was too early for check-out, I *should extend my reservation*. This after my friend reminded the girl at check-in that I'm the bride. Thankfully Brent did his best at remedying this situation. Finally one of my guests left his expensive Theory jacket behind at the event pavilion, and while all other items were returned, that one remains missing. The absolute worst experience we have ever had performing at a venue we have a contracted green room and there was no green room it was stacked to the ceiling with tables and chairs they treated us like trash. We changed in the bathroom and hung out in the hallway for the first part of the event. I took Karley Baggerly the wedding coordinator aside and explained that it is contracted that we have a green room for nine people to come in from out of town. She got mad and said it was not her fault. I explained that indeed it is her role. And the same way she goes over the tables the chairs the sparkler send off and everything else it is her responsibility to go over the vendor contracts and we know we all know it is. She got mad and stormed out. I understand some of these coordinators do not want to pay the very small extra money that is required per the contracts to take care of the band, and I also understand that a lot of bands don't take them up on it and are fine with being treated like trash, but we are not it. A representative from Tetherow did come in afterwards and cleared out the room a little and brought some glassed of water and hors d'oeuvres. She was the one person that was accommodating, had common courtesy and respect. Generally speaking they have a millennial attitude they'll sneer at you they'll pass the buck then get mad and act like you're the crazy one when you call them on it. Matthew the Catering Manager followed my loaders out and said - and I mean exactly this "you guys are all hacks get your junk out of here" at 11:45 pm yelling at my loader Corey as he was backing out when there was no reason for any interaction whatsoever from this 'gentleman' after stomping on the sparkler send off for the bride. He was not aware I was sitting in my truck sitting directions when he went off on the loader. I lost it I called him every name in the book and told him to get away from us. Then he started approaching my vehicle aggressively. His younger cohort started shouting insults also. You have to understand we are in a dark parking lot after hours where we are the only people in the parking lot and Matthew is aggressively attacking us as we leave. The brides sister asked us to play music for the sparkler send off, we started playing the music quietly. Matthew the Catering Manager came up to me in an aggressive deputy dog manner telling me to turn it off. I told him absolutely not, and after the way he spoke to me I told him to get away from me I don't want to speak to him anymore. He got on the phone and acted like he was calling the police on me. Afterwards his manager came over to me and asked me why I was yelling at Matt. I told her I was not yelling at Matt and i'm not interested in speaking with her. I believe her name was Jennifer. Short, slight caucasian female with dark long hair. I got all of these people in the central room after the event and I told them that they were rude, they were disrespectful, horrible people and that I will never work there again. I scheduled a personal phone call with the GM Nick OrRico and gave him the information in regards to our experience so he is aware at this point. Good luck! read more

I thought the room was very good but not excellent. The amenities were kind of a bummer because one of their main restaurants was closed. And the fact that it was just very busy isn't really their fault. Would definitely stay here again. The room is great the staff is friendly and the views are amazing. read more

I have been living in tetherow for almost 4 years. We use all the facilities at tetherow.. Workout room classes golf pool restaurant etc... Our experience has been positive for the most part. A recent addition to the staff has been Clayton, who I believe is a manager. Clayton from day1 has been proactive in every way. From getting to know names and individuals, including myself. To having things fixed in a timely manner. Checking in with people in the pool area. Clayton just goes the extra mile to help, talk ,fix get to know people. I am grateful to have Clayton be part of the tetherow family! read more

this place was trash. I'm not interested in paying over $200 a night to be ignored, with outlets and other imperative features in my room that don't work, to additionally have to call on a Saturday night after 10pm to ask to have the event next to our room turn the music down so we could sleep. the folks who work here are lovely and do not deserve to have any kind of retribution for this - but clearly, the resort policies outside of "take 'em for all they got" are wildly vague . if I call a front desk to be met with "um...I'm not sure let me call you right back" more than twice in a visit...a CEO or two needs to get a grip. Oh, also, our sheets were ripped. AND there was nowhere to park on Saturday night of what, I presume, was a wedding. There also was no discount for a room with a "view" of the parking lot. We spent two nights at Tetherow. We will not return. We choose the place because it allowed us to bring our dog and there was a pool. Unfortunately the pool is in full sunshine and rather small. The dog friendly room was very clean but the "Resort View" was a window looking out to the parking lot. We ate at the "Row" a couple of times. The food is mediocre and the service was unfortunate. Even though most of the servers were friendly and tried their best, there was an obvious lack of training and experience. At a minimum the tables should be cleared of dirty dishes (including the water glass with the lipstick) before the check is delivered and collected. read more

Bad service today when I took a hard fall at poolside and bloodied myself. I was offered two bandaids, I had to ask for a bag of ice then asked to speak to the manager 2 times and no one ever was available. I wanted to let management know why I fell and clearly they didn't care. A good management team should write an incident report at least when blood is involved and having a 5 lbs sack of ice on other injuries are too. I have one more night at this place and will not recommend it now. Also I had a DND on my door and 9am sharp housekeeping calls me to see if they can service room. I had requested only fresh towels. I asked if they could just leave towels at the door. 30 minutes later bang bang bang on my door. Housekeeping handed me the towels. I explained that I was up entire night and was trying to rest. Why is this such a hard thing for people to understand and why can't people just listen? read more

Stayed here for a couple nights, drove down from Seattle to see Bend. This resort was fantastic, choose the golf course view if you stay, or else you'll be looking at the parking lot LOL. Clean, big rooms and great staff! read more

We stayed at the hotel here for a couple nights. The staff is wonderful. The restaurants are wonderful. Even the parking lot view rooms are wonderful. We had a king suite overlooking the golf course. This development is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries property. Absolutely one of the most thoughtful and environmentally dedicated developments to come to Oregon in decades. Thank you, Tetherow, for being one of my best memories of 2020. I felt considered and well taken care of. Excellent safety precautions while still receiving top notch hospitality service. We will definitely be back to visit soon and get another fantastic meal at Solomon's. read more

Wow wow wow, such an amazing venue and area. Absolutely gorgeous view of Bend, a perfect place for a wedding. My brother in law got married this past summer at this location and I was in Awww of the whole experience. The resort has a the best set up for an out of town family, we rented two of the bungalow houses and it fit everyone! So nice to be as close to the venue as we were and the wether was just dreamy. The staff was attentive and quick, they helped us really make the place special for the happy couple! read more

A horrible experience.... On the advice of a member I am friends with he suggested for us to stay at the property for a engagement/ birthday weekend. When we checked in @ 4pm and went to our room the room was not ready. It had not been cleaned and there was stuff everywhere. We went back down to the front desk and they said they were working on it. After waiting 2hrs and missing our birthday dinner reservations, finally @ 6pm they gave us another room. The receptionist said that they were sorry for the delay and that they upgraded us to the owners private suite... this was a total lie as the room looked exactly like the one we had originally reserved and walked in to. The location of the room was great but the TV didn't work, the sheets hadn't been changed and there was poop on the toilet seat... yes, physical poop on the toilet seat!!! At this point after going to the front desk 5 times I gave up and cleaned the toilet seat myself with the provided hand sanitizer in the room. My fiancé wouldn't sleep under the sheets and the next morning I asked housekeeping to change the sheets... when we came back the bed was made but the sheets were still the same sheets and we saw the same spot on the sheet that was there earlier that morning. They had not replenished the coffee or toilet paper either. At this point I basically was done complaining and since we were only there for one more night we just dealt with it. Honestly I can't say I'll be staying at Tetherow again as this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a Lodge/ Hotel. Luckily the golf was good! read more

We had a great stay in Storm King 5! We arrived in the middle of the night and were greeted in the same friendly manner you'd expect in the middle of the day. The home was just as pictured and absolutely worth the cost. The design and furnishings were beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all of our own meals. The staff was responsive when we couldn't get the fire pit to light but otherwise left us alone to enjoy our privacy. Best of all, we could roll out on our mountain bikes to the trails without having to drive anywhere. The hardest part was packing up to leave. We'll be back! read more
