We got a king size bed with a view of the mountain and it was well worth it. We ended up using our credit card points so we only had to cover the food and travel to here. The pool was large and there were very few guests to join us but it was loud. A majority of the time spent here on our second day, from about 11AM to 3PM Tlandscapers were working on the area directly adjacent to the pool. Pebbles kept flying up and hitting the metal fencing near me. The only thing that makes this a 4 out of 5 is the overall set up. At almost all resorts I've ever been to there is an outside bar, not here however. We'd love to come back and I'd like to get a round of golf in!

There were guests that were rudely blasting their music by the main pool. That pool also seemed to be full of insects and random dust and plants that had been swept by the wind from the nearby fields. The doors to the main entrance closed shut on my suitcase as I was leaving. It seemed that someone had pressed the button to open them both, and after a while they close automatically. The fact that there are no sensors to detect if someone is still standing between them, is negligent.

Don't miss Bangers and Brews for a casual meal! 5 stars on Yelp. And Zydeco for a more formal dinner (closed for lunch on the weekend). This was our 2nd stay at this amazing bnb. Already made a reservation for 4 nights again next year! Hands down, our favorite bed and breakfast! And we have been to many countrywide. Pegi is the perfect hostess. Very respectful of our privacy...yet kind and loving. Our beatiful, sweet dog, Abby, died suddenly while we were staying here. Pegi was so sensitive to that. She gave heartfelt hugs to my wife and gave some very kind words of comfort. We so appreciated that. The gourmet breakfasts are to die for. Seriously. She has a binder with pictures and descriptions of each dish. Maybe 10 different starters...as well as about 10 main dishes. You can choose your favorites. Cooked to order. Yum! We feel so spoiled! The grounds are so beautiful and well maintained. I loved the "babbling brook" that fed a small pond. I had book in hand, and enjoyed several hours of relaxing to the sound of the water. So peaceful. The rooms .... Perfect. The bed....so comfortable! But honestly, I spent most of the time outside on the deck, or by the stream relaxing.

They messaged me back and asked who we were seeing and asked what her favorite treats were. When we arrived they had this amazing little treat basket and note for her. That was ABOVE and beyond. The hotel was super convenient to the concert venue, quiet and clean. The reason I am only giving 4 stars - the shower. Y'all it legitimately hurt. It was like being hosed on a high jet setting. Awful. Aside from that the stay was wonderful. Next time I hope they will have updated the showers lol

We checked into the Waypoint Hotel on a Saturday evening, and what happened at the front desk was…read morehonestly unbelievable. I had a confirmed reservation and gave the front desk employee my name. She couldn't find the reservation, so she asked whether it might be under a different name. I told her no, and after she and her coworker looked into it, they discovered that my reservation had been given to another guest. The other guest (let's call her Jane Doe) had been checked into the room that was reserved under my name and my credit card. She had provided her own ID and credit card, so I genuinely don't understand how the employees managed to assign her a room using my reservation in the first place. This is more than just a simple check-in mistake. If that guest had damaged the room, incurred charges, or otherwise caused an issue, those charges could potentially have been associated with my reservation and payment information. That's a pretty serious failure in handling a guest's reservation and financial information. The employees realized their mistake and had to call Jane Doe down from her room to the lobby to straighten everything out. Thankfully, she was actually in her room, and thankfully both of us remained calm and understanding about the situation. But here's what really bothered me: not once did either employee apologize to me or to Jane Doe. Not even a simple, "We're so sorry, we made a mistake." Nothing. Mistakes happen. I understand that. But when you make a mistake this significant--giving someone else a room under another guest's reservation and credit card--the bare minimum is to take responsibility, acknowledge the seriousness of the mistake, and apologize. Instead, we were left standing there while they fixed a problem that they had created, with absolutely no apology or acknowledgment. I expected much better from a hotel. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable trusting this hotel with my reservation or payment information again.

I've stayed 5 times here. Coed dorm (2 times) female dorm in the annex, and a private room (2…read moretimes). Each stay was its own unique experience. I love the bunk+brew but this time it wasn't one the best stays. I wonder what has changed recently? I hope to stay again so I'm calling forward some of the bigger things that made this experience different than others. The general spaces felt dirty. Not how I would ever welcome guests into my own home. A few examples; I went around and put dirty dishes left out by others throughout the night in the sink. The outside bathroom was out of toilet paper with no restock available. Seeing as the bathroom trash had been left overflowing for the 2 days I was there I took it upon myself to bring 2 rolls of toilet paper out there so others didn't have to encounter that same dilemma. I went to bed around 11:30 and left my food that I purchased from the food cart in the fridge. IT WAS STOLEN! I couldn't believe it even after writing my name and a date on it. I've never had that experience before. One thing that I felt was really not aligned with bunk+brew was a conversation I overheard between staff. They said " I don't like gay people". This made me feel really yucky hearing such outright homophobia that I had to excuse myself from that space. I know change isn't possible if the issues are not addressed. Bunk+brew has been a safe place in the past for me while out traveling. I hope others can feel that way.

The bath house was broken too, so lines for shower were awful. The rooms themselves were pretty clean.. my room had a total of 6 beds (bunks). Rooms stayed surprisingly cold during the heat wave so thankful for that! Hostels are supposed to be cheap since you're bunking with randos but it really wasn't cheap.. it was a bit more expensive than a motel.

We chose this motel when booking specifically because the reviews said it was clean. Uhhh, when we pulled back the sheets a bottle of LUBE fell out! I'm positive they did not change the sheets. There was a LAYER of dandruff and dirt along the headboard and the mattress pad, it looks like they have NEVER vacuumed or cleaned in there. I saw evidence of possible bedbugs. We went and woke the nice worker up again and asked if there was a different room, there wasn't so we just decided to drive home 2 1/2 hours away. I hope we can get our money back. Just for context, I'm a country girl who shovels poop and tosses my own roadkill. I'm no priss. But I'm not about to pay $130 bucks to snuggle up with someone else's lube. This place was next level gross. I'd even be willing to just let them keep my money if they'd pay their workers for some extra hours to do some deep cleaning. They clearly aren't paying them enough.

Not fake customer service nice actually caring. They wanted to know what was going on with us and treated us with understanding instead of judgment. Our car's transmission ended up blowing in the parking lot while we were there, and that could've made an already stressful situation way worse. Instead, they were patient and understanding, even when we had to extend our stay for extra days. That mattered more than they probably realize. The coffee was good enough that I kept going back for more, which says a lot because hotel coffee is usually terrible. The kitchen setup was great too and made things a lot easier while dealing with everything going on. Overall, just a solid place all around with good people behind it.
