    You never feel alone lol

We LOVE this place!!! The staff is always amazing! Very accommodating, sweet, and friendly. The water pressure is so strong when I first got in. It shot me so far back I put a little dent in the wall. LOL so be sure not to put the shower on full force unless you wanna go for a ride.

My friends and I stayed at Campfire Hotel in Bend during part of our Oregon road trip. The pros: -Gigantic fire pit outside to get a camping-like feel -Outdoor hot tub and swimming pool -Social opportunities (there was a karaoke night) The cons: -Parking could be hard to find, so you might need to park on the street -Located near a homeless area with a lot of drug users. They didn't bother us, however, we made sure we stuck together as a group when we were out at night and tried to avoid the area they were in. We also made sure we removed all valuables from the car Overall verdict: For an affordable place to stay in Bend, Campfire Hotel fit our needs and we had a good experience.

My daughter stayed with her friend. They loved the atmosphere and guest relations. The campfire at night was fun & enjoyed the hot tub! She can home with a super cute log pen

Stayed for a weekday night and the service was nice, room was comfortable, and location is walkable to downtown. Didn't get to enjoy the pool or hot tub but looked very inviting. Their little bar is nice with well done cocktails. Only issue was there appeared to mold starting on the ceiling of the bathroom shower that was coming back or had once been painted over so wish there was better quality control to address these items before putting guests in the rooms.

Look, I don't give hotels five stars, ever, but the campfire was a really nice spot. No, like really awesome. Very welcoming, great staff, clean and bright rooms, a really cool atmosphere that has "the Bend vibe" written all over it. There were single speed loaner bikes, the pool and hot tub were in great shape, the fire pit area was really nice, full-service bar with a second smaller fire pit overlooking the pool, so that adults can enjoy adult beverages, while watching the children lose their minds splashing and having a blast. I had a conversation with the grounds staff while walking the dog and they really seem to care both about the upkeep and maintenance of the place and that people were having a good time. Was there over a holiday weekend and even during a slammed holiday weekend the staff was still super concerned about everyone that was staying there and having the best time. That says a lot. The bed was comfortable, sheets were crisp, yet soft, the decor in the rooms is what I would describe as modern mixed with classical Mountaineer/chalet vibe. The color schemes were great. They had snacks and drinks in the room that didn't have the cheesy Vegas mini bar thing going on. The hotel is dog friendly!! How many hotels are dog friendly?! This place was a nice little urban oasis for us while spending just a little bit of time in Bend. I would recommend to anybody going and staying in the city.

Very cute hotel, thoroughly enjoyed my stay. They had a fire pit along with a heated pool along with jacuzzi, though everything is shut down at 10, which is a buzz kill. They also had a bar if you want to grab a drink along with snacks in lobby like trail mix and apples. I enjoyed it and it served its purpose, rooms were a tad outdated but it had personality and I liked this hotel and have no regrets of picking my stay here. Things to do: check out Blockbuster, nostalgic feeling going in there, Crux fermentation and Smith Rock State Park, beautiful hike.

If you're going for a themed experience as a hotel, fully commit the way Campfire Hotel does. I arrived late one night after working an event. The parking lot is difficult to navigate, especially on dark rainy nights, but once I found a spot, the lobby was easy to locate for check-in. That process was quick and smooth, and I love the cute lobby area overall. Very inviting. My room was cozy and spacious. Everything from the bed to the counter of snacks and the rotary phone was Instagrammable. I wish I could have spent more time chilling and watching Netflix or Hulu for free, but I had an early scheduled departure from the airport. Didn't get to experience breakfast (front desk staff told me the burritos are great) or the pool. Bend isn't a city I'm dying to come back to, but this has certainly become one of my favorite hotel experiences. I don't really camp, nor have I been through many camp programs. Nevertheless, the low key hospitality and hipster amenities inspire me to explore more of the outdoors and maybe even hang out with new friends around the bonfire.

The theming and decor were great. It's a motel that they made look very cute. The front desk people were very nice and helpful. They had a heated pool, a fire pit and bikes for guests to use. Great amenities. The bed was a little soft. The room was a bit warm even with the air on. The walk to downtown Bend was just 10 minutes, but a little dicey at night. All in all well themed and a great value

We decided to give this place a shot on our Bend Trip. Great location and easily walkable to the store and Downtown. Front desk attendants were friendly. Online check in and the mobile keys were a little challenging for me, thankful for the help and check in and normal room keys. I have a TBI so not surprised the mobile check in and room key was difficult for me. They helped me so no worries. Motel was adorable. Room was comfortable. Location for us was great and one of our favorite Mexican spots is close as well as where our dinner was at off Wall Street. We knew this was a motel and assumed the vibe and style and did not expect something fancy, we expected a cute place with adorable decorations and a good vibe kinda place. It was great and met our expectations. We will definitely stay again next time we need a Bend place to sat close to downtown.

Traveling with a pet can sometimes feel like a hassle, but here, it felt like my dog was just as welcomed and pampered as I was. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted my dog with genuine warmth, offering treats, a cozy dog bed, and even special amenities that made the stay feel thoughtful and personalized. It wasn't just "pet-tolerant"--it was truly pet-celebrating. The attention to detail made a huge difference, and it was clear they go above and beyond for guests with furry companions. Beyond that, the hotel itself is beautiful--modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the beds are luxurious, and everything feels high-end without being pretentious. If you're traveling with your dog and want a place that treats both of you like VIPs, the Oxford Hotel is hands down one of the best choices out there. I accidentally left personal items in the room and am 100% certain they were left there. I contacted the hotel multiple times and they kept telling me they would follow up--but no one ever did. I never received a return call like they promised, a resolution, or any form of compensation, which was extremely disappointing for a hotel at this price point. On top of that, the staff I interacted with came across as rude and dismissive rather than helpful. A little accountability or basic courtesy would have gone a long way. For example I had to call down to the front desk 3 times in one morning just to get someone to bring toilet paper up to our room. For comparison, I had a much better overall experience at the Hampton Inn in Bend, where the service felt more professional and guest-focused. This is the hotel I usually stay at and it's always been a good experience, but this time I wanted an upscale experience since it was over New Years and I love an upscale hotel experience. I travel a lot and this was the worst experience I have had in a long time. The whole stay was very disappointing from the time we checked in, to our dining experience at their restaurant (they gave us a salad with croutons so hard they almost broke our tooth), clear up to the point we checked out. The rooms may be nice, but customer service matters more--and that's where this stay fell short.

I'm actually sad to say…read morethat I only had one night here as I really loved the vibe of the place and would have loved to spend more time at the hotel. I knew of the McMenamins line of hotels due to a friend who had taken me to their Edgefield property when I was visiting. They had described the place as an adult Disneyland and that's a pretty good description for it. It had so many things going on above and beyond the hotel itself. So, when I saw that there was a McMenamins in Bend, OR I decided to try it out. It was a little hard to figure out where the main entrance was as I arrived in town when it was dark out. I managed to find a parking spot quickly, but I noticed as the evening went on it was packed with cars. The hotel is located on a corner toward the end of the downtown area and it's an easy, well lit walk to shops and restaurants. But, there are so many options to eat and drink at the hotel that you don't need to leave if you don't want to. The main part of the hotel where you check in has a rustic look to it. I hadn't made reservations as I was trying to see how far I could get toward home before stopping. It was a Sunday night and thankfully they had an opening. The two people at the front desk were very nice and helpful and I was able to get a room in the main building. As a solo, female traveler I felt very safe and comfortable not only in the hotel but in the town as well. I also found out that not only do they accept dogs, but they accept large dogs. And the bartender I spoke with said the town is very dog friendly. Although my dog wasn't with me on this trip I would love to return with him. My room was a decent size. It had a lot of different lighting options so it could have been very bright in there if I preferred or I could keep it more dimly lit. They make their own coffee, so they had four packets of coffee out (two with caffeine and two decaffeinated), a small coffee maker and some cream and sugars. I happened to get a room that was ADA compliant, so the bathroom was huge with a large walk/roll in shower. It was a lot of white tile and it was spotless. I was so tired and the room was so comfortable I would have been happy just staying in all evening. The grounds have several bars, a hidden speakeasy, a movie theater and a restaurant. So, if you decided to stay at the hotel then you would have plenty to keep you occupied. The patios had tons of heaters, so it was still pleasant to sit outside on a cold night. I was right next to the lobby, so I was a little worried it would be loud and it wasn't. I was also right next to where they set out a coffee station in the morning, which was convenient. The bed was comfortable and I couldn't have asked for more. I definitely plan on returning and staying longer, so I can take advantage of all the amenities they have to offer.

While this inn has some nice things about it, namely a good bed and small patio, we found ourselves quite frustrated with the other parts of the stay. We brought our dog along, having checked that they were pet friendly and made arrangements to have the correct room. He is a calm, well trained, adult dog who is used to stayed in hotel rooms since we have spent a lot of time on the road. I , as always, read into their policies as available through Expedia and their website and found there would be no reason to expect anything different from our standard experience with other hotels. However, during check inn the women at the front desk asked what I was going to do with our pup while we are at the concert. Confused by this, she explained to me that their policy is not to allow dogs to be unattended in the room. She asked if I was going to leave him in the car (it is early September, and the heat would - as we know- make this extremely dangerous and possibly lethal for my pup). She additionally admitted that it would be hard to find that they hold this policy by simply looking through their website. In fact, the pet policies do NOT state that the pets are not allowed to be left in the room. Assuming we would have to cancel our plans for the night as to not have to leave him, we were extremely disappointed. Luckily, I was able to drive 45 minutes out of town to bring him to a family friends house until after the concert. This being said, this is not standard and is not conducive to being a "pet friendly" hotel if patrons are not able to leave their dog while going to dinner or an other activity. I even asked if we would be able to crate him and he could wear his e-collar (used for off leash work on our farm, but will guarantee he will not bark) which was declined. The women at the front desk was always kind, but unconcerned as to how this affected us and that we were not properly notified of the policy (nor would any other customer be). If we did not have family outside of town, we would have had to find somewhere else to stay or cancel our plans for the night. This policy needs to be made clear at booking. Besides for this, we were unimpressed with our room as it had a notable unpleasant smell when we walked in and had more than 10 bugs in the bathroom at all times. Including dead ones on the counter. The air in the room did not work, which especially frustrating during wildfire season as having a cool breeze come in is not an option when the air quality is extremely dangerous due to the smoke. Save your money and simply stay at the Hampton inn or one of the other places in town.
