It had a private hot tub, a stocked bar, and plenty of space to spread out. The layout felt private and quiet. Good option if you want more separation than a standard hotel room. We waited a couple of hours and the room was still not ready at the new guaranteed time. The first room they offered us would not open so they gave us another room, but then when we went into the second room, it totally was not made ready for new guests. Check out all of the photos attached. The bed was not made and clearly used by prior hotel guests. The bathroom didn't have all of the lights functioning, but worse had towels that were dirty and we're all hung up together on the hook. Trash was not taken out. The room also was set to such a high temperature that I could not adjust nor put on any AC in the thick of summer heat. Outside there was a dead rodent right outside the patio that looks like it had been sitting there for a long time. The worst part is when I complained about this, the person who answered was very Flippin did not apologize and was very defensive saying that they were swamped. I understand that it was a holiday weekend, but to deny my experience and not offer anything aside from a dinner was reprehensible and totally not anywhere near the kind of service that a four star resort should offer. The following morning to placate us, they left a basket of perishable items, but didn't even check in with us and so by the time we opened it with the heat and hours sitting there, it was not edible anymore. Organization was also an issue because when I tried going to yoga, I got there early and per the attached signs. Everyone was supposed to meet there. I waited and waited called the front desk, asked where it was supposed to be even called the phone number listed on the sign yet did not find the class eventually I hitched a ride with the resorts golf cart and they drove me to the usual hiking place and I ran after the group to try to catch up, but I already missed part of the hike and it clearly was the fault of whoever organized it. I travel a lot and have stayed at many resorts all over the world, and this was the most disorganized and horrible service, especially considering the bad experience we went through. There were no offers to comp our bill or to make it right. Just excuses I would stay away from this until it has new management.

Since it was 90+ outside, I was pretty happy. The room looked clean and well appointed. Wifi only avail for a fee. Seriously? I've never been required to pay for wifi, so it Toilet was stopped up, but the plunger in closet did the trick. No dresser, which is weird for a timeshare with week-long stays. About an hour after arrival someone from the front desk called to make sure we had everything we needed, which was a nice touch. Or they new about the toilet issue... Our one bedroom unit was clean. There was a noticeable lack of cabinetry. All the plates and bowls were stored where an oven would be. That meant no oven, only a cook top. But we were aware of this prior to check in. My teen said the pullout couch was "a pull-out couch" so I guess that means average comfortability? Due to covid we did not use the pool or any other amenities besides the washer and dryer. Which by the way, you didn't have to pay for. This was a nice treat since we pay about $3 per load of laundry at our home timeshare. If you are going to be in the area, highly recommend, just be careful where you park. Some one hit our car with there door, leaving a nice crease.

We returned to Eagle Crest on an Interval International exchange using our Kona Coast Resort unit…read more Eagle Crest is a large project and it's a little confusing about which projects are managed by what company, so I am specifically reviewing the Worldmark Resort property and should not be applied to any other hotels or resorts at Eagle Crest. We have stayed at several Worldmark properties in the past, and this is our definite favorite. First off we were able to fly directly into Redmond from SFO, avoiding a two drive from Portland as that's how we came last time. The airport is small but that's a plus as far as we were concerned, and our Costco rental car from Budget was fine. Our check in was easy and Kiyah was a great rep for Worldmark. We got a text from her a few minutes after we were in the unit asking how things were, and that was a nice touch. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was perfect. We own two vacation rentals and live in Kona and are appreciative of a job well done. Everything was immaculate, and it seemed like it had been recently updated. I had called the week before, asking for a unit on the Deschutes river side, and we happily had an end unit with a great view. The gal I spoke with was friendly and let me know that checkin had moved so I had a google map address which made it easy to find. The kitchen had everything one could ask for and more. The dishwasher was the only appliance that needs retirement lol. The bedroom with attached bath and a work desk was excellent. It was relaxing to take a long hot bath in a huge tub after a long flight. We used the Weber grill on the patio three times during the week we were there. The Sisters meat market in Redmond is well worth a visit. One word of warning for people that have problems with stairs: this is a multi floor unit. You enter at one level and go down a flight of stairs to the living room and kitchen and one bedroom with two twins. From the entry you go up a flight to the main bedroom with huge bath/shower and king bed. So there are lots of stairs if you are going up and down from the living room (which is so cozy with the gas fireplace) up to the main bedroom. I'd find someplace else that had less stairs if that's a criteria. I'm typing this as I use the fast 500 mbps (ookala speedtest) internet and we are streaming from our ipad all of our regular addictions. My one complaint, and it is a major one, is the horrible cheap mattresses. There were far too firm, and terrible for both of our backs, resulting in back and neck aches. Perhaps they'd sourced them from a cheap manufacturer, but saving money on mattresses is foolish especially these days when you are judged on how comfortable a nights sleep is. We managed to survive by taking the comforters from the twins and placing them across the king mattress where our hips and shoulders were aching and then got a couple more blankets from housekeeping. It helped, but not enough. We fortunately were staying in an airbnb the following week with a fantastic mattress and the contrast was stunning. I complained about this on our last visit, hopefully with the management change that happened in the summer they will allocate funds to refresh a crucial part of the guest experience, a restful nights sleep. Again, this is a Worldmark exchange and should not be confused with any other property at Eagle Crest. Interval International exchanges have different rules and costs and things like internet access are included. Your experience without being an II member or Worldmark owner may be very different. We exchanged a week in a beautiful timeshare in Kona to stay here and were quite happy. For us, this is one of our favorites and we will definitely be back. Mahalo.
