We stayed here in the Deluxe River View suite and it was awesome! It's right on the river, great patio spot. Some trees blocking a bit of the view, but still beautiful. Excellent service, excellent breakfast, and getting a welcome beer was a great touch! The room was fab, really clean, big, nice and comfy. The 2 person spa was amazing. Walking distance to some restaurants, a nice walking trail, etc. Wish we could have stayed more nights and definitely will be coming back!

We came here for peace and quiet and that is what we found and more. It started with meeting Audrey upon check-in. A genuinely caring person Who made us feel very welcome and nothing was a problem for her. She was helpful in arranging a romance package for my wife and I at the last minute. Thank you Audrey, everything was perfect. Hope served us breakfast in our room and was so hospitable and kind in spite of us not being morning people, thank you Hope, well done. The bed was comfortable, the fireplace was such a good mood setter, and the view from the room was fantastic, great sunrise/sunset photos. Let's see, oh yes, complimentary wine or craft brew upon arrival. Lyft and Uber friendly. Many excellent restaurant recommendations from Audrey and other staff. We definitely recommend and plan to return.

Looking for a quiet room with great views of the river? The Pine Lodge is your place. The lodge is located on the bluff over looking the river located in a quiet part of town. The lodge has plenty of free parking very close to all the rooms. The Lodge is 5 minutes from everything it seems which is convenient. The room that we had was a suite with tons of space. Our room was on the second floor (which I reccomend) with a great view of the river. The bedding was comfortable and classic. The room was a bit dated and definitely showed some wear and tear. The bathroom/shower had a slight funky smell to it, but nothing horrible. The check-in process was very fast, friendly, and convenient. Upon check-in you are offered a beverage from a local brewery/winery which is a great touch. I would definitely reccomend this place if you are looking for some lodging in Bend. Cheers Always!

This hotel is one of the nicest I have ever stayed in! Last minute booking I was placed in the nice king suite, great room! The hotel has views of the river and is close to shopping/restaurants. They greeted me at the door and offered complementary drinks and cake. Room was clean. Bed extremely soft. Very very quiet. The hotel is small and feels more like a bed and breakfast because of how personal the service was. Deer in the parking lot/grounds makes you feel almost like you're at a resort. Loved it; would stay again!

Firstly the staff! From the front desk to wonderful Andrea that went above and beyond! We had the most romantic stay! The room was perfect! Also huge jacuzzi tub and a fireplace! Andrea did all the wonderful extras and we are so grateful for this experience! This inn is so comfortable and we will pass on the name for years to come!

Great view off the back towards the river. Rooms were new and very clean and we had a door to the outside through our patio which was lovely. The food was nothing to talk about, at least not for me, but that's fine. We ate out around the city and had some great meals. The bathroom was amazing! It was spacious and beautiful. My boyfriend couldn't stop talking about how much he LOVED the shampoo. He wants to buy it on Amazon, but it's $30 a bottle! I think he's going to do it anyway. It's Molton Brown. The bed was really nice, I slept great. The rooms were quiet, I never heard another person.

Are you kidding?! What a fabulous place to stay and one of our best night's sleep here. From the friendly welcome as we walked in (you are offered a glass of local wine or beer upon arrival), to the wonderfully laid out room with a view, quiet night's rest, or fabulous continental breakfast (coffee, tea, juice, pastries, yogurt, homemade granola, fresh berries) included with your stay, I'm impressed! Will recommend to others and stay here again.

While in the midst of wedding planning, we stayed at the Pine Ridge Inn on our most recent trip to Bend. Overall, the stay was very good. We loved the room. Having a sink inside the bathroom and another just outside was surprisingly convenient. We also took full advantage of the fireplace in the room since it was still chilly out (and even started snowing on our final day). The balcony provided a nice view and the room was adequately lit. It's surprising how many hotel rooms are so dark even with all the lights on! We didn't bring our furry friend with us on this trip but I really appreciate that it is an option and we could do so on a future stay. We are definitely planning to stay here again and have recommended it to our family and friends who are traveling into the Bend area for our wedding later this year. The only negative of our stay was the breakfast. The options were very lackluster the two mornings we were there (granola, oatmeal, one type of scone, one type of muffin, one type of bread to make toast, hard boiled egg, parfait). I'd love to see some hot options in the future that have some protein or at the very least a bagel or different types of toast (only was offered cinnamon raisin on our trip). Both mornings we ended up going to a local coffee shop for something more substantial. I hope that during a more "peak" season the breakfast options will be improved. It seems like other people who reviewed the hotel had better options. Hopefully I will get to experience those on my next stay! Yes, Pine Ridge Inn is one of the pricier options in Bend but the views are great, the location is extremely convenient, the room size is definitely above average, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, and best of all it was quiet. Even being in a room near the breakfast area we couldn't hear it at all from inside our room - I would've sworn we had the entire hotel to ourselves if we hadn't seen other people at breakfast / cars in the parking lot. The front desk and breakfast staff were both efficient and courteous. I look forward to our next stay. 4.5 stars.

    Cozy, clean and spacious rooms.

Pine Ridge Inn is a magical place to stay with an ambiance taken right out of the pages of Architectural Digest magazine. The decor and architecture are modern, clean and cozy with phenomenal lighting options within the room and outside our patio area. Fresh pine trees are everywhere making the air quality exceptional and much appreciated when we opened our patio door. The fireplace inside our room was operated by a convenient wall switch and kept our room temperature comfortable. Our room was also equipped with a handy climate control center on the wall if one so desired. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The water pressure was excellent and much appreciated while utilizing the oversized shower head. Smooth jazz was playing softly when we first walked in on the television and we chose to keep it playing in the background our entire stay. Delicious home made chocolate chip cookies were made daily for anyone's enjoyment. Every morning we enjoyed an array of healthy delicious breakfast options complimentary of Pine Ridge Inn. We were spoiled with breath taking views of the famous Deschutes River just outside our room. We enjoyed amazing views of the river while comfortably relaxing on the modern styled couch within our gorgeous decor while enjoying the cozy warmth from our rooms fireplace. My only complaint is I can't give Pine Ridge Inn a 10 star review. Every single employee we encountered helped to make us feel welcomed and right at home. A special shout out to MARYANNE for going above and beyond to not only make us feel welcome, but made us feel like we are family. We will be visiting Bend, Oregon regularly and this will be our first choice when deciding where we would like to stay while visiting and enjoying the beauty Bend, Oregon has to offer.

This is the dusk view from our little patio.

Traveling with a pet can sometimes feel like a hassle, but here, it felt like my dog was just as welcomed and pampered as I was. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted my dog with genuine warmth, offering treats, a cozy dog bed, and even special amenities that made the stay feel thoughtful and personalized. It wasn't just "pet-tolerant"--it was truly pet-celebrating. The attention to detail made a huge difference, and it was clear they go above and beyond for guests with furry companions. Beyond that, the hotel itself is beautiful--modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms are spacious, the beds are luxurious, and everything feels high-end without being pretentious. If you're traveling with your dog and want a place that treats both of you like VIPs, the Oxford Hotel is hands down one of the best choices out there. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Bend again! Also, the coffee in the room was excellent!!

I accidentally left personal items in the room and am 100% certain they were left there. I contacted the hotel multiple times and they kept telling me they would follow up--but no one ever did. I never received a return call like they promised, a resolution, or any form of compensation, which was extremely disappointing for a hotel at this price point. On top of that, the staff I interacted with came across as rude and dismissive rather than helpful. A little accountability or basic courtesy would have gone a long way. For example I had to call down to the front desk 3 times in one morning just to get someone to bring toilet paper up to our room. For comparison, I had a much better overall experience at the Hampton Inn in Bend, where the service felt more professional and guest-focused. This is the hotel I usually stay at and it's always been a good experience, but this time I wanted an upscale experience since it was over New Years and I love an upscale hotel experience. I travel a lot and this was the worst experience I have had in a long time. The whole stay was very disappointing from the time we checked in, to our dining experience at their restaurant (they gave us a salad with croutons so hard they almost broke our tooth), clear up to the point we checked out. The rooms may be nice, but customer service matters more--and that's where this stay fell short.

It's just a little bit away from the downtown scene in Bend in an area that is being revitalized. I love the branding all over the hotel. They warm, brown and orange colors and all of the thoughtful touches and decor really made it stand out and feel super inviting. We enjoyed our five nights stay there very much. When we first checked in, I was a little disappointed that we were not in the main building. We were in a second building that was kind of across the street and the common area around it isn't quite as cute. It ended up being a good thing because the hotel pool and the Fire Pit area are super popular and it gets quite lively out there in the evenings. I appreciated being a little bit away from that because our room was so quiet. The people that work at the hotel are great, really friendly and helpful. We had a great time at the pool, I went every day! On Sunday, they have a big pool party and it seems like there are people from town that come because most of the people were checking out of the hotel that morning. They had a couple DJs, we went and enjoyed the music and the scene and had a blast. They have a bar area that opens in the afternoon that serves all sorts of cocktails but also they have nonalcoholic and CBD drinks available. They have a burrito, food truck and a coffee food truck in the parking lot Tuesdays through Saturdays and both of them were awesome. I wanted to give the hotel five stars but there are a couple things they could work on. First of all, the shower pressure was excellent and I liked how high the showerhead was, but the showerhead was in a fixed position. Every single time I showered there I would get blasted with cold water intermittently during the shower. With the showerhead, not being movable, there was no way for me to get out of the cold water stream. I just had to handle it until it got warm again or get out of the shower. I have a ton of hair so I can't just get out of the shower in the middle of washing my hair, that stuff has got to get rinsed out. Secondly, I appreciate that they don't clean the room every day. That seems like a waste to me. They told me at the front desk to let them know if there was a day I'd like to get my room cleaned before 11 AM that morning. So on Sunday morning at 8:15 AM I walked over to the front desk to ask to have our room cleaned that day and was told that because there were so many checkouts that they can't clean my room that day but would clean it the next day instead. Well, the next day was one day before we were leaving so it didn't really make sense. Also, our trash cans were running over, we were out of toilet paper and we needed new towels. So I ended up getting trash bags, towels, and toilet paper from reception and bringing them back to the room and then bagging up all of our trash and putting it outside the room. It wasn't the end of the world, but if they weren't available to do the room on a specific day, it would've been nice to get a heads up. We could've gotten it done the day before. Lastly, as much as I liked the aesthetic of the room, the bedframe is oversized and juts out just a little bit. It's dark brown, and the room is kind of dimly lit (nice aesthetic). I smacked both of my knees on that bedframe on different days and my man also smacked his knees on it. I took a photo of my knee next to the bedframe and you can see that the material of the frame is worn in that spot, it looks like a lot of people smack items or their body parts on it. They need to put a little cushion protection on that thing!

I'm actually sad to say…read morethat I only had one night here as I really loved the vibe of the place and would have loved to spend more time at the hotel. I knew of the McMenamins line of hotels due to a friend who had taken me to their Edgefield property when I was visiting. They had described the place as an adult Disneyland and that's a pretty good description for it. It had so many things going on above and beyond the hotel itself. So, when I saw that there was a McMenamins in Bend, OR I decided to try it out. It was a little hard to figure out where the main entrance was as I arrived in town when it was dark out. I managed to find a parking spot quickly, but I noticed as the evening went on it was packed with cars. The hotel is located on a corner toward the end of the downtown area and it's an easy, well lit walk to shops and restaurants. But, there are so many options to eat and drink at the hotel that you don't need to leave if you don't want to. The main part of the hotel where you check in has a rustic look to it. I hadn't made reservations as I was trying to see how far I could get toward home before stopping. It was a Sunday night and thankfully they had an opening. The two people at the front desk were very nice and helpful and I was able to get a room in the main building. As a solo, female traveler I felt very safe and comfortable not only in the hotel but in the town as well. I also found out that not only do they accept dogs, but they accept large dogs. And the bartender I spoke with said the town is very dog friendly. Although my dog wasn't with me on this trip I would love to return with him. My room was a decent size. It had a lot of different lighting options so it could have been very bright in there if I preferred or I could keep it more dimly lit. They make their own coffee, so they had four packets of coffee out (two with caffeine and two decaffeinated), a small coffee maker and some cream and sugars. I happened to get a room that was ADA compliant, so the bathroom was huge with a large walk/roll in shower. It was a lot of white tile and it was spotless. I was so tired and the room was so comfortable I would have been happy just staying in all evening. The grounds have several bars, a hidden speakeasy, a movie theater and a restaurant. So, if you decided to stay at the hotel then you would have plenty to keep you occupied. The patios had tons of heaters, so it was still pleasant to sit outside on a cold night. I was right next to the lobby, so I was a little worried it would be loud and it wasn't. I was also right next to where they set out a coffee station in the morning, which was convenient. The bed was comfortable and I couldn't have asked for more. I definitely plan on returning and staying longer, so I can take advantage of all the amenities they have to offer.

The fairly tasty prepared hot breakfast was a bonus; it was served in a large well- lit room (part of the lobby), with good coffee on tap, roomy seating and lots of food options --- yogurt, muffins, tea and other add ons for the taking. Props to the pool area as well -- spacious, clean, lots of towels and a pretty solid hot tub. The gym is full size too, stocks a good selection of machines, treadmills and weights, so that's another plus. Gotta say, though the hotel offers free bikes to take out, they are absolute crap; the brakes are atrocious, gears are sketchy and one had a flat. It's a nice perk, but proceed with caution. But overall, the Element is clean and up to date, with lots of parking on-site (though it costs extra), and a pretty good location within a somewhat reasonable walking distance to downtown. To my mind, all good things.

Look no further than this amazing place located exactly right where you need to be to handle your business needs or vacation getaways. The staff is amazing and very respectful. If you been to hotels you'll know that this is something you would only receive at a premium price... but here the price is fair and to be honest for all the amenities I would pay more. Get in here and relax a bit... you won't regret it Oh btw the gym is awesome

The entire reason I called was that I had a specific question I wanted to ask, and I could not locate anything on their website that could have answered my question. I contacted another hotel in the vicinity that actually answered my phone call and made me feel valued as a person and as a future guest at their hotel.

We stayed in the River Wild room, which had an outdoor entrance. The bed was comfortable, and the room was straightforward. Across the street is a coffee shop by day that turns into a nonalcoholic upscale bar type place in the evening. The breakfast was exceptional, and I appreciated their offer to make me some scrambled eggs since I'm allergic to dairy and could have the (delicious looking) frittatas. I was thrilled to have Metolius tea there. The hot tub is a nice amenity, though it was a bit scummy when I went in. I also was unaware that there was hot (and cold) water available in a book by the breakfast room for guests, and a mini fridge. None of the emails had mentioned anything about those, nor could I find any info in the room. So this is your heads up! I really wanted a cup of tea before bed, so having this info would have been appreciated. It's centrally located and great for walking to wherever you want to go, if that's your thing. (Or drive if it's not, lol)
