The lobby bar is also a great experience with an art deco theme that feels like a cozy speakeasy. Ask Clayton to make you a cocktail, and you won't be disappointed. I had a Manhattan that was one of the best I've had in town. And the cacio e pepe popcorn was killer! This is a great spot to come before a show or dinner, or spend the night for an exceptional and elevated experience!

The price was more than I wanted to pay but it felt like there was citywide gouging happening due to Luke Bryan concert in town. Black bear diner shares a parking lot so that's an easy breakfast.

The lobby is nice, the folks manning the front desk were ok, but the ladies that take care of breakfast are the sweetest and nicest ever. They actually have a pretty decent breakfast with quiche and other items you don't usually see at other locations. They are pet friendly with grassy areas around the hotel. Why the low rating, you ask? The main problem was the shower curtain which barely touches the top of the tub. It defeats the purpose of having one unless you want to flood the bathroom floor. It's an accident/lawsuit waiting to happen. I almost slipped getting out of the shower, not realizing that the floor was very wet. Talked to the front desk about it and they said that someone ordered the wrong size so all their bathrooms all have the same shower curtains. They are apparently still waiting for the correct size to be delivered. It was frustrating. My other gripe was, we were originally assigned a 1st floor room facing the highway on the app, so I called and asked if they could give us a high floor room away from the highway. Got to the hotel, lady assured me they have assigned us a room on the 2nd floor, away from the noise. We get into our room and right outside our window was Highway 97. It's been a long day so I did not bother asking for a different room. It was not bad but it still sucks. This is an ok hotel but with the problems we encountered I don't think we will be staying here again.

We returned to Eagle Crest on an Interval International exchange using our Kona Coast Resort unit…read more Eagle Crest is a large project and it's a little confusing about which projects are managed by what company, so I am specifically reviewing the Worldmark Resort property and should not be applied to any other hotels or resorts at Eagle Crest. We have stayed at several Worldmark properties in the past, and this is our definite favorite. First off we were able to fly directly into Redmond from SFO, avoiding a two drive from Portland as that's how we came last time. The airport is small but that's a plus as far as we were concerned, and our Costco rental car from Budget was fine. Our check in was easy and Kiyah was a great rep for Worldmark. We got a text from her a few minutes after we were in the unit asking how things were, and that was a nice touch. The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit was perfect. We own two vacation rentals and live in Kona and are appreciative of a job well done. Everything was immaculate, and it seemed like it had been recently updated. I had called the week before, asking for a unit on the Deschutes river side, and we happily had an end unit with a great view. The gal I spoke with was friendly and let me know that checkin had moved so I had a google map address which made it easy to find. The kitchen had everything one could ask for and more. The dishwasher was the only appliance that needs retirement lol. The bedroom with attached bath and a work desk was excellent. It was relaxing to take a long hot bath in a huge tub after a long flight. We used the Weber grill on the patio three times during the week we were there. The Sisters meat market in Redmond is well worth a visit. One word of warning for people that have problems with stairs: this is a multi floor unit. You enter at one level and go down a flight of stairs to the living room and kitchen and one bedroom with two twins. From the entry you go up a flight to the main bedroom with huge bath/shower and king bed. So there are lots of stairs if you are going up and down from the living room (which is so cozy with the gas fireplace) up to the main bedroom. I'd find someplace else that had less stairs if that's a criteria. I'm typing this as I use the fast 500 mbps (ookala speedtest) internet and we are streaming from our ipad all of our regular addictions. My one complaint, and it is a major one, is the horrible cheap mattresses. There were far too firm, and terrible for both of our backs, resulting in back and neck aches. Perhaps they'd sourced them from a cheap manufacturer, but saving money on mattresses is foolish especially these days when you are judged on how comfortable a nights sleep is. We managed to survive by taking the comforters from the twins and placing them across the king mattress where our hips and shoulders were aching and then got a couple more blankets from housekeeping. It helped, but not enough. We fortunately were staying in an airbnb the following week with a fantastic mattress and the contrast was stunning. I complained about this on our last visit, hopefully with the management change that happened in the summer they will allocate funds to refresh a crucial part of the guest experience, a restful nights sleep. Again, this is a Worldmark exchange and should not be confused with any other property at Eagle Crest. Interval International exchanges have different rules and costs and things like internet access are included. Your experience without being an II member or Worldmark owner may be very different. We exchanged a week in a beautiful timeshare in Kona to stay here and were quite happy. For us, this is one of our favorites and we will definitely be back. Mahalo.

This place treated us like actual people, not just another room number…read more They kept us on the first floor, accepted our cats without making it a huge issue, and the staff was genuinely kind from the start. Not fake customer service nice actually caring. They wanted to know what was going on with us and treated us with understanding instead of judgment. Our car's transmission ended up blowing in the parking lot while we were there, and that could've made an already stressful situation way worse. Instead, they were patient and understanding, even when we had to extend our stay for extra days. That mattered more than they probably realize. The coffee was good enough that I kept going back for more, which says a lot because hotel coffee is usually terrible. The kitchen setup was great too and made things a lot easier while dealing with everything going on. Overall, just a solid place all around with good people behind it.

However the day we were supposed to leave our cars transmission failed and we were stranded. They were very accommodating to us having to get all our stuff from our car and bring it into the room, very kind to be understanding for the extra nights. My kids kept coming down to talk to the folks up front. My youngest enjoyed cleaning the room. We kept it fairly clean. :) One of the cleaners left a note saying how wonderful my kids were :) Very awesome place. Amazing coffee. Had no problems with me grabbing coffee all the time. Lol I lived off it. Good people. Clean hotel. Reliable. I would definitely stay here if your ever in bend. Always met with smiles and understanding.

The amenities are for club members only and family of. If you can afford it the place is looking to have tons of potential. During our stay every night the live ins had friends/family visit and took over the pool and jacuzzi. There appeared to be no security. They only have two bathroom/shower buildings that are open 24 hours with two bathroom/shower units each. In the office area there are additional bathrooms/showers but you can only use them during office hours. The park is conveniently located to downtown and has food trucks Thursday thru Sunday. Staff is friendly and polite but unless they find a way deal with the live ins, it probably won't stay nice. People who live RV parks generally are not friendly to travelers which changes the experience of a vacation.
