Alex and a partner performed a thorough review to determine if there are rodents in the attic. This was challenging because there is not access to the attic. Upon hearing attic noises in the evening, I put a call into Terry - who immediately scheduled an appointment. He & an assistant arrived promptly and took a look through the attic - as well as surveyed my home's exterior and garage. Thankfully he saw no signs of critters in the attic, and he made a couple of suggestions as to trees that should be considered for trimming to make it less easy for any critter to land on the roof. They spent at least an hour here . . . and didn't charge me anything for the visit!! Terry wouldn't even accept any payment - at all. We think the noises may simply be the temperature differential as the evening cools down . . . but it was very reassuring to know that nothing is scampering around in the attic. This review is still in progress. Yet to see how their guranteee clause is honored. Initial service of house prep and tenting for fumigation completed. All seemed to go as expected. Post service, have some concerns, concerns are in regards to quality of service performed. There don't seem to be any qualitative check points to reference other than waiting a year or so to measure any further termite damage to structure. I would have been interested to see the purchase req. of the gas being used ? Purchase req should indicate : Gas supplier, qty purchased , date purchased , Visual of actual tanks with tags and meters indicating levels with purchase req. I have security cams inside home. Because gas is described as not visible there is really no assurance that anything was used ? As no visible gas ever appeared to have been seen throughout the fumigation process. Again that's the nature of the product. This was my reason post fumigation to have been shown the purchase req. of the gas to be used at my addresss. I'm sure they don't have this gas sitting around waiting to be used. I imagine the supply needed is obtained within a day or two of actual application. I could be wrong however I've worked in industry's where speciality gasses were used and obtained from gas supply companies and I'm familiar with the purchase requisition protocols to obtain these speciality gasses. Ie: welding gasses , liquid Nitrogen. Again my review overall is not negative if anything the service as explained has been just as explained. I'm pointing out concerns and questions that have come into my mind post fumigation service. Had these'd concerns been adddresed prior to services being rendered I would have more confidence in that they were executed at least. This review is to help those who are considering having home tented. What you may want to inquire to the company of choice. Again overall value of service is yet to be realized. read more

Terry and team did the initial termite inspection before I bought my house. Over the last year I have continued service with Terry to treat my exterior regularly as I'm terrified of bugs. My home gets treated monthly and the service is phenomenal. Just today, I heard what I thought was an animal trapped in my exhaust fan. I spoke with Melissa and she sent Terry right away. He came and did a very thorough inspection to ensure this frantic girl didn't have any rodents or birds trapped anywhere. He checked the crawl space and even got up on the roof to ensure there was nothing missed. And it was all included as part of my regular treatments. We have been using Termite Terry for several years. They come every 2 months to treat for wasps and rodents. The technicians show up within their time window and are thorough in their servicing of the outside of the house. They have also done one-time treatments such as spraying the outside for fleas and under the bed for carpet beetles. Skip came out last week to inspect for termites. He identified an area and explained why tenting was needed versus spot treatment (because they were in an inaccessible wall so there was no way to successfully spot treat). He gave use an excellent quote for tenting. He took care of the scheduling of the fumigators and delivered bags for us to bag up our edible products. He thoroughly described the bagging process. Prior to the fumigation crew showing up on a Tuesday, he walked through the house ensuring that all cabinets and drawers were open to prevent gas pockets. The fumigation crew showed up shortly thereafter and Skip was there the entire time supervising the installation of the tent. Everything went fine and we were back in the house by 10am on Thursday. We had Ring.com cameras inside the house so we could be alerted if there was a break-in while we were out of the house. There was no activity. Recommend the Ramada Inn in Costa Mesa as a economical pet-friendly hotel. It was 1/3 the price of the HB beachfront hotels. read more

Termite Terry has been serving my house for quite a few years, for both rodent control and termite control. I live in the woods where pests like these are a common recurrence. I used a few other pest control and get it control services before, none of them seemed very capable, termites return every a few months. But since Terry's team did the termite service on my house a few years ago, my house is still free of termites. Recently i had some major rat issues because of the wild fires destroyed the woods surrounding here, they also did a very good job trying to find every nooks and crannies and sealing them up. We had Termite Terry sent out by our property manager to take care of ants in our unit. When he arrived he had a helper with him, we asked both of them to wear masks when inside, and asked when scheduling the appointment letting them know we have someone who is at high risk. When they arrived both were wearing masks. However, while they were spraying they asked us to wait outside. While they were inside our unit, and we were outside, they TOOK OFF THEIR MASKS WHILE WALKING THROUGH OUR HOME. We had a ring camera and have videos of the two of them walking through our apartment, in and out of our bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces mask-less talking on the phone etc. Needless to say we felt extremely uncomfortable in our home after they left. Scheduled an inspection for clients and was given a window from 1-2 pm. Skip showed up at 8 am, surprising my clients. No message, phone call or explanation about the time change. Was told the secretary made a mistake. Then, promised to send the inspection report that evening, but didn't receive it until 3 days later. Also, they refused to honor the 10% discount for work ordered in the month of January promised in their mailer. We had this fine company out to inspect some termite activity in out walk in closet... we had been finding droppings for several months. Termite Terry came inspected the area, gave us a reasonable estimate and a few days later drilled holes in the wood and sprayed. So far not a sign of termite damage! After contacting 3 other insect terminator companies, I finally called Termite Terry after a friend referred me to them. This was the only company willing to check out a very sudden house fly infestation I had. They were able to adjust the schedule of their employee, Eric, so he could come out on my only day off. The women answering the phones just couldn't be kinder, more understanding, nor more accommodating. Eric arrived and inspected the entire inside, the patio, and even went into the attic at my condo. Altho, he couldn't locate the source of the flies, he left 2 fly strips and did not charge me for the inspection. Thankfully, the house flies have all finally died out and are now gone. I'd suggest dealing directly with Skip and his team, which includes Jose. They were both great to work with. l Let me outline the positives: Skip is thorough and knowledgeable, Marie is courteous and professional, and they fumigated the house. The negatives: They use subcontractors with no one to oversee their work, numerous promises went unfulfilled, the owner Terry lacks accountability, they ran my credit card prior to all the work being completed, and I had to follow up for everything. For anyone's future reference, my house measured 43,000 cubic feet (1982 sq. ft. single story w/ attached garage) and they used 33 pounds of Vikane according to the log. So, I recommending going with another outfit and asking how much Vikane they use in comparison. My biggest concern was not getting the full amount of Vikane necessary. read more

We were very impressed with Terry, the owner, and Brayden, the technician. They did a thorough inspection, discussion of tenting process, and coordination with our roofer, as we had 200 roof tiles broken 10 years ago with the tenting process with a national company. They took extra precautions so there was minimal roof tile breakage. The tenting team, owner, and roofer met at our house before hand and made a walking plan for the roof. We were very impressed with their commitment to tent with minimal damage to roof tiles and plants, etc. Terry communicated with us, sent us photos, and followed up every step of the way.
