I've been working with Jeff and his company since I bought my house in 2006, first as part of the escrow process then though their annual maintenance plan. Every year, I receive top professional care with a thorough inspection for termites and dry rot. I even receive preventative tips on how to keep my house protected (areas that need paint/caulking, etc). Any woodworking done on the house has been spectacular, with wood being replaced and painted (with paint I provide) leaving the area worked on seamless. Appointments are always scheduled at my convenience and they address any work inside the house first, so I can get to work and leave them to finish up outside after I leave. When I return home, the work areas well cleaned. Using Quality First puts my mind at ease that I am protecting my home/investment and avoiding any large expense/repair down the road. Jeff's company had done work for the previous owner here in Irvine 3 years ago before I bought the house, but I had never met him. I had him here today because I saw some black droppings at the bottom of a wood plank on the outside garage wall. He took a close look and said "these are cricket droppings, not termite droppings." Jeff came out because I was told by Terminix that I had termites. We just purchased the house and moved in 10 days ago. I have used Quality First Termite (was Quality Care Termite before Jeff bought the business) for an annual termite inspection/maintenance for 18 years now. They have always been professional and provide a thorough yearly inspection. This year Tommy and Taylor came out to spot treat a few areas that had termite activity. They arrived on time, did their job, cleaned up and touched up with paint. Both were professional and respectful. Curtis came to my home to follow up on treatment received a few months ago as well as to inspect for continued termite issues. Most of the inspection involved his comments on what he was unable to remedy. I can't treat behind the walls, I can't treat holes in the cabinet, I can't resolve issues if they are coming in from the back door, I don't know why there are termites in your dishwasher, I can't solve the problem if they are coming in from next door, etc. Balancing this out with what he could accomplish would have been helpful. I then asked him if treatment would be beneficial at all. Curtis was not happy at this comment. Overall, his customer service attitude was not existent. He seemed to be irritated, and in a hurry. I was doing my best to continue with this appointment until he stated to me "You are not listening to me." At that point, I told him not to speak to me like that, and that he was being rude. No apology, just a defensive reply and finally he decided to leave. Customer service training could be beneficial to this employee. Cannot recommend this company with an employee treating customers in a rude, impatient, irritated manner. read more

We couldn't be more pleased with Jeff the Owner and his team taking care of our home! Jeff conducted a thorough inspection from the attic to the crawl space and then walked me around our home to show me exactly where the termite damage was explaining how they were going to treat, repair and/or replace many of the boards of our roof trim. Jeff then the very next day sent a detailed report on his findings for us to review, which my husband appreciated since he couldn't be at the appointment. A big issue for us was matching our sun faded paint to the new trim, especially at the front of our home. Mission accomplished! No eyesore of white primed roof trim, because they added the matched faded paint color to the primer, giving us much needed time to have all our roof trim painted. That extra step and the care and quality of their work really saved us and at a great value! Jeff is an expert in termite control and his team was on time, polite, neat and we're all around kind people including their receptionist in all her communications.
