Yesterday they were scheduled to do a termite inspection between 12 and 5pm (not very convenient 5 hour window) and after spending the afternoon home waiting, I got a text about 3:50 from their tech telling me he was still in Seal Beach and could we reschedule for another day. That's enough for me, I'm done. Guess they are busy enough not to take care of continuing customers.

Over the past two years, we've spent a significant amount of money with Homeshield to replace attic insulation and treat our home for rodent mites caused by repeated mouse infestations. Our insulation warranty was supposed to include service to prevent mice from re-entering the attic, yet new openings continue to appear and remain unaddressed. Each time an inspection is done, it takes weeks to schedule a follow-up appointment to actually seal the openings. Recently, after hearing mice again--now with a newborn in our home--we contacted Homeshield immediately. A technician quickly confirmed there were openings near our A/C line that needed to be patched, but for two weeks we were told they couldn't schedule the repair because the technician hadn't submitted the required diagram. When an appointment was finally scheduled, no repair was done--only additional traps were placed in the attic. After escalating the issue, we were told a manager could come re-inspect the home, but not until nearly a month after the initial report. At this point, I'm frustrated by the lack of follow-through and the amount of time I've had to spend chasing updates. We are simply not receiving the service promised under our insulation warranty and monthly maintenance plan, and we will likely be switching vendors soon. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend Homeshield Pest Control.

Not Tide Pest! They nailed it. I had an awful problem with pantry moths. I had tried for months to get rid of them on my own to no avail. Bailey said I had been killing the adults, but not the (Eck) larvae. He explained what they'd do and sent an email with everything in writing which I did refer to several times to prep the kitchen correctly. He arrived within the time window stated and was done in 30 minutes. He let me know his eta an 30-60 min before they arrived. He examined my cupboards and hutch thoroughly before proceeding. He cleaned up afterwards-there was only a little bit. Only needed a dust pan Bailey said he'd follow up in a week to make sure they haven't returned. If I do see any, he said he'd return immediately. Very good job and worth it to finally get rid of these annoying insects. I've had to throw out many pantry items and feared buying more/eating them until this was handled. I highly recommend Tide Pest Elimination.

Bailey came for the first treatment and promised to come back as many times as necessary to fix the ant problem - which is exactly what he did. I called one pest control company and they referred me to Recon Pest Control and told me recon uses better chemicals for my situation. So I call em and they send Tyler right out-no waiting. He knocks down spider webs, thoroughly sprays everywhere, problem solved. So then a month goes by and he returns to spray again but then we get hit with another crazy hot, triple digit heat wave and I find a few ants in my office again. Tyler comes right back and resprays the entire property a second time. Since then I haven't seen a bug in or around the house once. I usually see something, often around the pool area but nada. Even the dog's food bowls are left alone. After replacing the tile on my roof, some rats found their way into my attic. We'd hear their mating ritual echoing through the walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Called Recon and they sent Ryan out to set traps and seal the entry points. Problem solved instantly...subsequent inspections showed no sign of rodentia in our home. Insects and rodents...I don't mind them when camping in the backcountry but hate em around my home.
