It was an unusually hot, 108 degree day when I found ants inside my air conditioned home office. I freaked. Our home is spotless and insects are rarely a problem. I called one pest control company and they referred me to Recon Pest Control and told me recon uses better chemicals for my situation. So I call em and they send Tyler right out-no waiting. He knocks down spider webs, thoroughly sprays everywhere, problem solved. So then a month goes by and he returns to spray again but then we get hit with another crazy hot, triple digit heat wave and I find a few ants in my office again. Tyler comes right back and resprays the entire property a second time. Since then I haven't seen a bug in or around the house once. I usually see something, often around the pool area but nada. Even the dog's food bowls are left alone. After replacing the tile on my roof, some rats found their way into my attic. We'd hear their mating ritual echoing through the walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Called Recon and they sent Ryan out to set traps and seal the entry points. Problem solved instantly...subsequent inspections showed no sign of rodentia in our home. Insects and rodents...I don't mind them when camping in the backcountry but hate em around my home. Recon is the fast & affordable solution. My advice? Next time Mother Nature bugs you call the TERMINATORS at Recon Pest Control. He did a fantastic job explaining the various treatment options for preventive issues with rats/mice. Ultimately, we went with patching and securing intrusion areas that were entry points. We recently had an issue with unwanted guests (rats/mice) at my elderly mother's home, and I can't say enough good things about the service we received from Ryan at Recon Pest Control. From the very beginning, Ryan was professional, prompt, and incredibly thorough. He quickly identified that the rodents were entering through access points on the roof and wasted no time sealing off the exterior entryways. Some additional areas inside the attic also needed to be blocked off, which was no easy task given the tight space, but Ryan handled it without any problems. To make sure there were no rodents still living in the attic, he strategically placed traps and then set up a follow-up schedule--checking in weekly for an entire month to monitor the situation and confirm that all entry points were effectively sealed. Throughout the entire process, Ryan was respectful and communicative. Since my mom is older, he made a point to call me directly whenever he was heading over, which gave both of us great peace of mind. While I hope we never have to deal with a rodent problem again, it's a huge relief to know that if we do, we have someone as reliable and trustworthy as Ryan to call. Highly recommend! read more

I requested service to remove spiders and spider webs in my home. It was a minor issue. There were two easily visible spider webs at the ceiling of my bedroom. I asked the service person to remove the webs. He had a long-handled device with him. ( I am elderly, disabled and the ceiling was high.) The service person refused. When I called the office about this, I was told that the spider webs were a "housekeeping issue" and not covered in their service. Please reconsider any use of this company. read more

I had a problem with *something* biting me.... never saw what it was. I received a quote from another service, saying it was "probably" fleas, and recommending a couple thousand dollars' worth of spraying, barriers, animal deterrents, etc. I called Recon, who sent Ryan out. He had a different opinion about the problem (tiny mosquitos). He put out traps and recommended a bug zapper. As it turns out, my problem went away (maybe Ryan scared the bugs away? maybe the intruders reached the end of their life cycles and didn't reproduce?).
