They SHOULD use a specific tool with a pointy end and they gently probe around the perimeter of the home. They also told me that there would be no damage done by probing the home. However, they walked around the house using the end of a metal broom stick and aggressively hit all of the eaves and exposed old termite damage and which ripped large portions of the paint off of our home. He claimed that he was just exposing termite damage when I said that he's damaging our home and a probe test shouldn't be like this. He also told me that other people have complained about him earlier in the week and tried to justify his claim for why he was hitting our home so hard. It made absolutely no sense. I've been a homeowner for over a decade and I've had multiple homes bought and sold where I've had termite damage treated and have had tenting. I am well aware of how these inspections are handled. Now I have patchwork I need to complete and I need to find a paint match to repaint my home. When they were told to leave, they said that they would have a manager call to discuss concerns with us. No one ever called us. I would absolutely avoid this company at all cost.
