I made an appointment with Christopher. He came out and gave me an inspection. I called back and said I wanted to go with them. He was supposed to come to my house on an agreed upon date and time and didn't show. I texted and he had a busy day and an event at his daughter's school that night. That's OK, but it's not OK to ghost people. Then we set another date and time and he texted and said he wasn't coming. He apologized. But he definitely wasted my time and energy. read more

This company if FANTASTIC from my first call speaking to Michael. He made it so easy to set up an appointment for Chris to come out to look at everything and give us an estimate. We live in an old house 1948 with an addition from 1975. The older part of the house (especially the garage was a mess. They took care of everything and even patched up the holes where they injected their product. Everything was amazing and so painless. NO packing up all your food and leaving your house for 3 days. It might sound like a stretch to say that our family was "blessed" by the company that provided our termite services. But, after meeting with Christopher from Termite Science, that's exactly how we feel Blessed. Granted, nobody wants to learn that they have a rather extensive termite infestation. It all seems rather daunting: The fact that little critters are eating away at your home 24/7. Anticipating a rather substantial expense to treat and eradicate the nasty pests. And, (mistakenly) believing that the entire family had to be displaced while the process took place. (Our particular situation was a bit complicated as my mother could not be uprooted from our home.) Enter Christopher Powers from Termite Science. While conducting his inspection of our home, I explained our concerns and circumstances. He listened intently, then addressed and answered all of our questions and concerns. It was very comforting to know that we were in such capable, accommodating and caring hands. It is rare to come across a person, nevermind an entire company, as forthcoming, fair, honest, and trustworthy as Termite Science, Inc. and Christopher, Jason, and Michael. First and foremost, I had my home fumigated eight years ago, but I recently had a termite issue in my kitchen, which I had correctly guessed to be drywood termites, and, following a family member's suggestion, contacted a competitor, Pacific Termite Control, for help treating the issue. They came out, inspected my property, and quoted me $2,800.00!!! to spot treat my termite issue and insisted on treating my home's attic with Bora-Care. I asked them if they found evidence of termites in the attic and they told me no. I asked them for their price quote without them doing the Bora-Care attic treatment I didn't need, and they said that they couldn't take the Bora-Care attic treatment out because it's mandatory for their two year guarantee. I tried to waive the stupid guarantee, but of course they wouldn't let me. What a load of crap! So I found Termite Science, Inc. as soon as their scummy competitor left my property. I must say, Michael was a delight to speak with over the phone, and I was surprised that he said he could have his brother Christopher come over a few hours later! Sure enough, welcomed Christopher and Jason into my home at 3:30 PM and they went around the property doing their own inspection. They not only identified what their competitor had found BUT ALSO!!! I did in fact have drywood termite damage to a doorframe, which Christopher immediately pointed out to me. He pointed to what I thought was just some dirt and showed me it was drywood termite poop! AND ALSO!!! I DID HAVE TERMITES IN MY ATTIC!!! Jason did an incredibly thorough job rummaging through my attic and took timestamped pictures to show me what he saw. Not only did I have drywood termites in my attic but also subterranean termites up there too! I was stunned! If I hadn't found Termite Science, Inc., I would not have treated the two! types of termites munching through the structural wood in my attic! Not without giving in to a scummy upsell at least lol. So Christopher and Jason finish up their inspection, write up a report, and tell me that they can treat my home the same day! I was so surprised! It was later in the day naturally, and they had to treat my attic too! But nope, they said they could get it done, and for FAR LESS than their competitor despite doing MORE WORK. I loved chatting with Christopher as he did his thing, learning how he got into the family termite business, and just having a great old time talking together. Jason did a great job as well, props for how he rummaged through my ancient attic. My house was a 5.5 out of 10 on how bad my termite damage was, and I shuddered at the horror stories Christopher told me about 10 out of 10 termite damaged houses haha. Thankfully, I had found him before I ended up like that too. I would highly, highly, highly recommend Termite Science, Inc. above anyone else. Never did I feel pressured to sign with them and they thoroughly explained everything wrong with my home, showed me the proof, and explained what treatments they would do and talked to me about the pros and cons of the alternative treatments I had researched prior to contacting a professional. I am someone who is extremely cautious prior to hiring someone to help me with an issue. After all, I work at a law firm. Everything Christopher explained to me checked out and I learned quite a few things from him too! He never tried to upsell me or pull the wool over my eyes. He is truly a rare gem in the business world who does honest work and cares. In my over 20 years of experience dealing with Termite companies, this company is way untrustworthy! I was promised a free inspection on small 2 bedrooms condo by Michael. He did the inspection and when I asked for the report, I received a bill for $125.00, which first of all supposed to be free inspection and second of all is unreasonably high for 900 square feet interior inspection, 3rd of all he never disclosed to me this charge! Average charge is $50-$75. I contacted him and he confirmed that this inspection was free. I called yesterday to request a clean invoice and his wife Trisha told me that the inspection is free, but report is not. I never heard of something like that. The purpose of the inspection is getting a written report, he never mentioned that this is going to cost me $125, I never would've used him! This company will promise free inspection and then send you a bill after the fact without giving you their real price! I strongly Don't recommend this company! They're not honest people! read more

Used TERMITE SCIENCE INC for three years. They seem to be only termite attackers, not ants, roaches, spiders, bees - just termites. I also have a single story, 900 sq ft condo, unattached 2-car garage. So, I must mention that "TS Inc" is not inexpensive, but they are usually on-time. In the beginning, there was a war with the "ground" termites with some sort of termite that were inhabiting the walls from outside, under the stucco up into the walls! Scary, for sure. TS Inc did some process around my unit, took about 1/2-hour max, and it was $225. for this service. I think the cost was around that amount a year and 1/2 ago. The attic was checked using a crawl space with a ladder & flashlight. So, I don't know much about termites except for the dust or dirt they leave while eating the dwelling. Christopher is very courteous and will share info about termites and the swarming during April and mostly May or anything else you need to know about termites. I think the product they have used will or does work on harassing other little critters, but I'm not sure about that. This is a family-owned business, and they have a nice truck to park outside your house (it isn't a junker to scare the neighbors). Like any other company, be sure of exactly what you're paying for. I can't understand what happened to a previous lady who was billed for a free estimate (be it written or spoken). That was shocking that they charged you for a written invoice. Also, remember to interview three (3) companies, so you know what's reasonable and who you can work with long term. Hope I helped someone make a right decision. After discovering heavy infestation in our garage structure, we used an online request to solicit quotes from four highly-rated companies. Mike from Termite Science was first to respond and set up an appointment. His brother Chris arrived on time and spent almost two hours surveying the structure perimeters, looking in the rafters, crawling underneath the house, and sharing his findings. The next day, we received a follow-up call and a comprehensive inspection report. While the company was not the cheapest--we were quoted $500 less from another company--we decided to go with Termite Science, based on its customer service, thoroughness, and treatment approach/philosophy. Once scheduled, Chris and another employee showed up promptly (even a little early) to treat our house and property. We found them efficient and professional, and we were happy to share their contact information and our positive experience with our adjacent neighbors, who also decided to use them to treat their homes that week! Time will tell how effective the treatment was--Termite Science states they will return a year from now to re-inspect. Based on the initial service and communication, we feel this is a business that will continue to hold customer satisfaction at the top of its priorities! read more

My parents had been aware of a termite problem in their house but were afraid of what they'd find, so they just didn't do anything about it. I decided to call around and found Termite Science, who had great ratings, were easy to book with, and came in to look at the property the following day. Working with Christopher was so easy--he was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. After a thorough investigation of the interior & exterior of the house, he drew out a map for us and showed us all the areas where termites had caused damage. The next day, Christopher came back (on a Saturday!) to spray all the damaged areas and prevent further termite activity. We were so pleased that Termite Science was able to help us so quickly and at such a great price. My wife and I noticed some termite droppings in our kitchen area. We called Termite Science Inc. and scheduled an appintment for a free inspection. On the appointment day, Mr. Michael Powers right on time. He politely introduced himself and gave us a business card. He inspected the area and he immediately identified the affected area. He thoroughly explained how it got developed, the extent of the damage and what needed to be done. It turned out that the job was a minor one. My wife and I were really surprised when he said, "let me fix the problem for free" since it will just be a minor fix. He then he proceeded to explain what he was going to do. The job only took about 6 minutes. He left the area clean and left us with the feeling that the problem was fixed correctly. We were ready to pay but he immediately said "it is just his way of paying forward". Once in a while in your life, you meet people who are professional, courteous and with a golden heart. this company saw my need for a termite inspection while i was online. they started calling at 930 pm and continued calling several times the next few days. when we finally got together this guy named mike saidwould be happy to fill my need .i needed a termite inspection form filled out for my va refinance. so we made an appiontment for the next day in the middle of the afternoon. time comes buy, then 30" goes by then 60" goes by. no show. this company is all talk and no go. stay away they can't be trusted in the small things. why would you trust them in fixing any of your things. read more
