This review is based on my inspection which was performed by Shawn at Natural Science Exterminating. I had some evidence that there were termites under my home as they were chewing through my hardwood floor. He arrived on time, was very courteous, thorough, and explained in great detail what needed to be done. In addition he found a small pipe leak under my home and I am forever grateful that he brought that to my attention. I'm waiting for the service to be performed on Friday, but I have no doubts that they will take care of my problem. I believe this is a family owned business and they operate in a very professional manner and are very patient with all the questions I had! I really appreciated the honesty and upfront nature of this company. We had a bad ant problem all throughout our home that we need to bring professionals in for. We wanted something that would work but that was nontoxic or eco friendly as we have 2 little people living with us that can help but put everything in there mouths (children ‍). From first contact I felt taken care of. I explained our situation and was given options that would best suit us. They let us know that the product they'd be using inside may not be as effective but would still work. They even came back out at no cost to spot treat a few areas for us (within 30 days). I just moved into my new home. After painting and installing new flooring, we noticed insects flying around. Fearful of a termite inspection, we had two exterminators come inspect the property. The first company came and inspected the garage and the attic. After concluding no termites were in the garage, he inspected the attic (an area where I didn't follow) and reported dry termite infestation in the attic. He recommended a fumigation tent, charging approximately 2 thousand. I called Dave after to get a second opinion on the house. Being in the service industry, Dave knows his reputation and integrity are tantamount to his business success. With the first inspection in my mind, I dreaded paying an additional two thousand to move in, not to mention the week or two delay to move in. Dave thoroughly inspected the garage and attic (he spent almost a half hour in the attic trying to confirm the presence of dry termites). Not once did Dave try to sell me the tent, on the contrary, Dave did not try to sell me anything. He confirmed no termites in the attic. When I asked if I should do anything preventative, Dave mentioned there's a spray he can apply to all the bare wood in the attic that would help prevent infection. However, to his own words, I didn't need it. While the world is reacting to covid-19 where many small businesses are suffering, I'm happy to see upstanding small business owners who have the integrity to do the right thing instead of recommending unnecessary services. Rest assured, even if there's a global pandemic, Dave will honestly inspect and recommend what is absolutely necessary, not what will make him money. read more

They offer free termite inspections on your home which saved my parents thousands because they were able to spot treat an infestation early preventing the need for a full house tent. This company charged me over $6000 and one year later charged me again for an inspection $525 which I did not approve and thought it was free. And, if I didn't pay it, then they would put a lein on my property. Also, they found more termites and said that if they hadn't done the work and it was done by someone else, it would have cost me 1000's of dollars. Did they even exterminate the termites in the first place, or do they just want to keep charging me to get rid of the termites? This company sold us on the natural pesticides they used and guaranteed that their system was 100% effective. After a few years at their suggestion after their inspection we needed to have our house tented as their "natural" pesticides did't work.
