We had a unique job with our bee hive being extremely high on the second story peak of our house. Dan was eager to help out and even tracked down and purchased scaffolding to be able to complete our job. He is a great and friendly guy and love that he has a special relationship with bees! When cleaning out our hive he gave us some honeycomb so we could enjoy some of the honey- that was a fun perk! We appreciated him traveling a far distance to help us out too. I have a contract with them, I call them for termites it takes 2 weeks to get back to me after I have to constanlty call them I am stuck with this contract and would have to pay it in full to cancel. After being a loyal customer for over 10 years I just can't take the horrible customer service anymore. If they offered horrible customer service with reasonable prices that would be one thing, but they are the most expensive service in my area of many other options (by a lot) for pest control AND termite control. Even calls to management with my issues have zero follow up. Do not use this company. We have used Terminix for several years and were very satisfied. However, after discovering active termites in our garage and calling for service on 10/18, they failed to show on 10/26. They unilaterally re-scheduled without notification until November 2. They did not show or call. We called them and they could not offer another appointment and said that they would have a manager contact us. So far, nothing. We are extremely disappointed and will not be renewing our service contract with them. We still have termites actively destroying our garage. read more

My technician always does an outstanding job always on time always goes the extra mile

I tried contacting and scheduling with this company since June (it is now the middle of November). We just purchased our house which was previously serviced for termites and we wanted to continue the services. After contacting them and leaving a voicemail every week, they would not contact me back. When I was able to get ahold of someone who was not directly in my location, they said they lost the initial quote I had done in June and it would have to be redone and they would ask someone to contact me. I cancelled my other pest control services because my initial appointment had a bundle deal. Unfortunately, after getting a quote, I was never put into the schedule and could never get ahold of someone. Instead of going with consistency, I will be finding another pest control service. I will say the tech that came to my house for the initial quote was wonderful and I wish it worked out. These people simply don't care about customers, when you schedule your first visit they will tell you over the phone what you want to hear but when service tech shows up they don't even do half of what they said so you need to schedule a 2nd visit when 2nd tech shows up again he doesn't do what he was supposed to do so I called tech myself to ask why he didn't spray the garage since we are still having same issues with spiders he said that was not on his work order but that he will go back same day to spray the garage but never showed up or called to let me know he was not going back to my house. First 3 treatments no change in Ant activity! They're immune to this pesticide clearly. Finally 4th treatment saw a decline in activity!! Tim, our exterminator, was personable and nice, but then it was time to renew... Suddenly we have Termites. What a coincidence! Canceled service and proceeded to be harassed DAILY for a balance of $100. I'm not joking. Phone calls, emails and paper statements; you'd have thought I owed the IRS! Products didn't work for several months and there is NO EVIDENCE OF TERMITES ANYWHERE!!! Then harassed for an amount I could spend on dinner! I started using Terminex and the day after I paid, my card got stolen was trying to be used for something online. I just thought coincidence. I called them to pay for my next service as I had to close that card. They told me it was a commercial account and not a residential which was incorrect and they couldn't figure out how I was supposed to pay. Took me calling 3 times and they couldn't figure out and said they would call me back. A few months went by before they actually called me back for me to pay for my service. I finally paid for the service because they figured it out and canceled my services with them for the second time. I just now got an email and a text from them stating that my services for Monday, clearly they do not get the hint that I want my service to be canceled I've had nothing but trouble with this company and I would never recommend it to anyone. read more

My big mistake I made was not looking at the reviews for this pest control company on facebook. The majority of customers has posted a negative review and here is my review. I was having pest issues in my house and when zi found a big scorpion on my back patio, I decided to hire a pest control service and unfortunately I choose TERMINIX; when I contacted them first, they explained to me theirs Customer's Satisfaction Money Back guarantee policy, a big joke. I scheduled the first service which a termite inspection was included, they came and they didn't perform the termite inspection, this was their first strike. A month later I called them and informed them about a continuance of pest issue; they scheduled a second service which it was performed. Another month passed by and all the pests were having a good time in my backyard, I made a second call and reported an issue with the pests, a third spray service was scheduled. It looks to me that the chemicals they use are not strong enough to kill little ants. 20 days passed by and again more pests than before they started to spray. I called and canceled the service of the two properties and demanded a full refund of my money. The manager called me and stated that they won't refund any money due to the fact I didn't give them any chance to resolve the issue, after three services performed, he had the courage to say I didn't give them any chance to resolve the issue. Three years ago we moved and asked Terminix in Goodyear AZ to switch service to our new address, also in Goodyear AZ. For reasons never explained to me this seemed to be an insurmountable task. We eventually cancelled service this year. But of course they don't answer their phone, don't respond to emails. We finally got some phone number that someone eventually answered and thought our account had been closed. Then we got a call about service this past July and we responded (to serviceman's voice mail) telling him NOT to come to us--later he told us that hec doesn't listen to his voice mails. They went ahead without our permission to do service, billed for it. They now show us as past due. We decided to look around and settled on Terminix. Paul came out and we discussed what was needed and were pleased with the quote and conditions. We were even more pleased when he said he could have a technician out later the same day and it was New Years Eve. Justin arrived on time and got everything taken care of right then and there. I showed him the picture of the insect I thought was a termite and he said right away that isn't one. He checked the house and found no traces. He also did not push for any products which I loved. Our Terminix Technician, William Purvis, was very courteous, thorough and on time. He spent all of the time he was here doing his work.

I could not reach the TERMINIX branch at 8550 N. 91st Ave, Suite 77, Peoria, AZ 85260, directly. All phone numbers listed on the internet all go to a call center. It was hard to find the supervisor info for this technician named GARY HALDERMAN on the internet, and the call center would not provide info for his supervisor. So guess what? I am reaching out to YELP and COMPLAINTS.COM instead. On Monday 1/18/16, (during my initial call for a termite inspection) the call center said they will have GARY HALDERMAN (the Terminix technician) give me a courtesy call 15-20 minutes before he shows up on Tuesday 1/19/20. He was scheduled to show up between 1pm-3pm. I deliberately made sure the TV or radio was on low so I can hear the Phone, (or the door for that matter) and worked on my computer next to the front door. On Tuesday 1/19/16 after 4pm, I found a business card on my front door. I would have heard door bell or the knock on the door, being that I was on my computer by the front door. I also checked my call log and voicemail on my land line, (which was the only number they were given at the call center), and there were no calls or messages from anyone at all on this day. I called the Phone number on the business card GARY HALDERMAN (Terminix Technician) left on my front door and, of course, it went to the call center. The call center operator said he should have given me a courtesy call before he arrived, and doesn't understand why he wouldn't have called if he was at the front door knocking and no one was answering. THANK YOU!!! Exactly what I was thinking!!! This is just basic Customer Service 101 practices that were not adhered to and plain and simple BAD, BAD, BAD Customer Service. By no means am I complaining about the call center, I am complaining about the Technician, (GARY HALDERMAN). The call center listened to my complaint and offered to send the complaint to GARY and to reschedule my TERMITE inspection for the following day on WEDNESDAY 1/20/16 between 10am -Noon. They also promised to make sure that the GARY HALDERMAN will give me a courtesy call and ring the door bell when he arrives. NOW HERE IS THE APPALLING PART! GET READY FOR IT! At approximately 9:40am WEDNESDAY, 1/20/16, this morning,(20 minutes before his scheduled time frame for a Termite inspection), I get a call from GARY HALDERMAN, thinking he is giving me his courtesy call. Not in the slightest, he only called to complain about the complaint that was put on him the night before. He said he knocked and no one answered, I told him I was on the computer next to the front door. When I asked GARY HALDERMAN why he didn't give me a courtesy call, he said it wasn't in his notes, but I told him that the call center said it was in their notes to have him give me a courtesy call. Then I asked GARY why he wouldn't have just called from his cell phone if he was at the front door knocking and if no one was answering? GARY did not say anything? Then GARY HALDERMAN asks me when would I like to reschedule another Termite Inspection??? Can you believe this??? GARY HALDERMAN did not have any knowledge of his scheduled inspection set for 10am-Noon. Keep in mind again it is 9:40am and I am thinking GARY is calling 20 minutes early for his 10am-noon appointment time frame. If GARY HALDERMAN can't even get an appointment correct how do you think the actual termite job/service would be done? So I called back the call center to try and get GARY ALDERMAN'S supervisors information, and the call center said it is against their policies to give out that information, but said that they would forward my complaint. The call center also mentioned that GARY may have an older cell phone not compatible with their messaging system, therefore, he is not getting, or not receiving their entire messages. The call center offered to set up another appointment, but I told them the same thing I told GARY HALDERMAN, and emphatic H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS NO! I also requested that the call center put my answer in all caps in their notes as well, so TEMINIX gets how frustrated I really am. The call center operator was empathetic and agreed and said would make sure that my request was honored. I happened to be at home and was not called in for work, but if I did not have the time off, I would have had to call off of work for both of these appointments. I would be livid if I would have had to take time off and GARY HALDERMAN wasted 2 of my work days because of his non-exsistant customer service abilities. Our technician has always been on time, courteous, through, and very educated on the wide selection of "bugs" that we have in the desert. We also use Terminix for termite prevention and treatment.
