I wish it were different. I started my day at 5:30 a.m. A few minutes later, I spied a giant creature in the highest ceiling corner over the bedroom door. I was horrified. It was paralyzing. After considering burning down my house or moving, I called Simply Green, and once again, they saved my bacon. Less than an hour later, their technician arrived and removed the poor creature. They have managed our pest control for the last five or six years, and it's been a wonderful experience. This is the second time in that timeframe that they have come out to help me - unscheduled. We initially called the company that installed it, and after checking the system for about 30 minutes, they told us everything was fine and that we just needed to change the air filter--which I had already changed only a couple of weeks earlier. In my gut, I knew something just wasn't right. I found Larson on Yelp and decided to give them a call. They were able to come out the very next day. The technician was friendly, thorough, and spent a significant amount of time running tests and inspecting the vents and ductwork in the attic. He eventually found the issue and fixed it! For the first time this entire summer, our house is actually 76 degrees inside! The difference is incredible, and I'm so grateful that he took the time to actually investigate the problem instead of assuming everything was fine. Larson has absolutely earned our trust, and they will be my first call for all of our future HVAC needs. Highly recommend!

A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.

So, I was getting a new dryer and decided it would be a good time to clean out my dryer lint vent…read more I ordered a kit with a round brush and some flexible rods that you attach to a drill and feed through the vent to clean out the lint. Sounds simple enough, right? So the flexible rods that screw together unfortunately separate while I'm using the drill and the brush and several of the rods are stuck inside the duct. I watch a YouTube video explaining how to remove it (it apparently happens frequently) by buying additional rods and attaching a "corkscrew" made from a wire hanger which you feed into the duct by hand to hopefully "grab" onto the brush and pull it out. You guessed it, that got stuck too. I called King Air Duct Cleaning and Lance (the owner) assured me that he understood the issue and he would be able to squeeze me in so I could start using my new dryer. Lance was here this morning and he was amazing. Within 20 minutes he had both of the pieces removed from the duct and all of the built-up lint cleared. Then he hooked up my new dryer, tested the airflow and assured me everything was good to go! And the cost was about 1/3 of what I thought it would be! Highly recommended!!!

I used Poor Boy about a year ago for treatment on my house. They were on time and worked efficiently and cleanly. The heat sensing technology is a really nice bonus so they can identify even small affected areas that maybe have not made it to the surface yet. No signs of any further issues. If they ever come back I will certainly give them another call. read more

Jayce was awesome! He was very friendly and fast, answered all my questions, and was amazing! The other termite places wanted to drill, but my termites were in the ceiling! Knowing the warranty period was set to expire in about a year, I researched termite companies in the phoenix area and "House Doctor Exterminating" had good reviews. Upon digging further I found that the company is still locally owned and operated and has not been sold to private equity. The owner, David, is awesome. We had several talks and he really impressed me with his knowledge, all I could think is "I want to hire this guy". David gave us an initial quote for another 5 year bond in Spring of 2025. Since we still had a year of warranty left with the home builder we budgeted and saved. When I called David back in March of 2026 he still honored his old quote, without me asking! We set an appointment and the tech came out on time and performed the work safely and efficiently. He explained the entire process, what chemicals he would be using, addressed any safety concerns I had and got to work. If I ever have any future need for a termite company or general pest control David is my new go to, hands down, no questions asked.
