My experience has been with their wonderful breakfast menu, and one of my favorites is the French toast. However, some of my friends swear by their giant cinnamon bun -- it's a must-try! They have a wide variety of breakfast combos and omelets with options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. The service has always been quick and friendly, and they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor patio is also dog-friendly, which is always a plus! Swing Inn is also known for its award-winning BBQ and has been family-owned and operated since 1927. I'm looking forward to visiting again for lunch or dinner and trying some of their BBQ specials. If you're looking for that classic American diner experience while visiting Old Town Temecula, Swing Inn Cafe is definitely worth a stop!

For some reason the staff treats you like this is the only Cafe and BBQ spot, in our area, to choose from. Or perhaps they feel their subpar attitudes will go unnoticed because of the owner's affiliation with a show that ENDED 13 years ago! Whatever the root causes of their nasty dispositions need to be corrected because some of the food is good but not great.

I've only gotten takeout from here but decided to dine in today and all I have to say is "hats off"…read moreto our server Horacio for providing outstanding customer service. From the moment we walked in we were greeted and sat right away by the host, who was also very accommodating from the get-go as we requested a booth and he kindly obliged. Once our server Horacio came to the table, he introduced himself, handed us menus, informed us about the menus and lunch specials they had. Brought us our drinks almost immediately after requesting them. When we were ready to order, he made suggestions, told us his personal favorites and gave us options we didn't even know we had. He even went as far as explaining to us the meat smoking times and the smokers they used. Ambiance of the restaurant has like an old cowboy/western vibe to it with dim lighting. Dining room is massive btw, very spacious, didn't feel cramped at all which is one of my pet peeves tbh. Now on to the food, if you've ever been here you know how they roll. My personal favorites are the pulled chicken & pulled pork, I had the tri-tip also but didn't enjoy that one as much as it was kinda tough. Those complimentary biscuits with that butter are hard to not wanna keep eating, and I'm not big on biscuits usually. Never had a bad experience at Lucille's but this location just became my favorite.

Mac and cheese (2/5) - the pasta was really overcooked and the cheese was a little soupy. The flavor was good though and my kids enjoyed it. Beans (2/5) - okay flavor, nothing special. Fried okra (3/5) - crispy, good taste. Idk if I would pay extra for it as a "premium" side on my next trip. Fries (2/5) - we ordered these mostly for the kids. Not bad but not great, just regular french fries. Brisket (3/5) - tasted good and was tender. Overcooked for my taste but not bad overall. Baby back ribs (0/5) - super disappointing. They were overcooked, dry, and had a fishy taste to them. St Louis style ribs (?/5) - I can't remember if I liked them or not. I'm guessing they weren't remarkable. BBQ chicken (4/5) - the best thing we ate. The chicken had a great flavor and was super juicy. Usually I'm not crazy about chicken at BBQ joints but this was the exception. I would come back here just to order the chicken. Beginets (2/5) - a little soggy but tasted good. Probably needed to be fried in hotter oil or drained a little better. Banana Pudding (4/5) - excellent. I would have eaten 2 of these if I could. Next time I'm craving BBQ, I'll probably try another place in the area before returning here. It's not bad for a chain BBQ place though.

3.5 stars! We came…read morehere during the Greek Festival. It was dead. When we first came, we were the only people in the place. First, let me say that the service was great. She was attentive without being overbearing all while she was training someone new. The food was decent. I wouldn't say anything special. I got the Mac and cheese with pulled pork. My husband got the tri tip sandwich with onion rings. Apparently the onion rings were $3 extra charge and there was only 7 on the plate. Not impressed. We also got a beer and a Michelada. My husband asked for more michelada mix because it looked like they only out a drop in there. The bill came out to $90 and I don't think the food was worth that much honestly. I'd be back, but mostly for beers. Bonus points for the reusable Ball cups!

Took until 12:40 to get our drinks, so 25 minutes just to get a draft beer. The food was decent, my husband and daughter got wings and really liked them. I tried the flatbread it was just okay. Turns out there was only one server even though 4 other people were running around. Nobody said anything about this until they delivered the drinks. Would have been a different experience if they told us from the work go that it would be a long wait as there is only one server to give us the option of going somewhere else. Might be worth another try.
