    Guava kumquat tea with boba
    Megan C.

My visit was solely based on "boba near me" and raving reviews on Google (of how it reminded folks of their high school days). I was excited.... I ORDERED: guava kumquat tea with boba. It was amazing that they allowed you to pick your tea strength along with your sweetness except there was not an option for ice preference. Half the boba was rock hard as if the pot wasn't stirred because the other half of the boba tasted great. The liquid portion was refreshing but omg so many pits, seeds, ?pulp, etc that led to half the time spitting on a napkin. BUT props for the inclusion of big pieces of aloe (perhaps I didn't read but I was not expecting this at all so fabulous surprise!) AMBIENCE: I regret not taking a picture of the inside because I don't need owners coming after me. Did not feel welcoming with ugly dark brown cushioned booths and chairs (majority of them had white splotches on them and dust... I kept moving until I found a portion that looked cleaned). Popular games provided near the cashier. SERVICE: nonexistent. 95% self service kiosk. Older folks were smart because they waited until someone came out (all drinks are made behind a wall so you cannot see what's happening at all) since lamefully the kiosk charges a convenience fee (for me it was 32 cents). LOCATION / PARKING: lots of parking as free and as a private parking lot. Although part of a plaza, not much to do as not many viable options. Furthermore, as a forewarning, I was chased and waited by Hispanics to buy bags of cherries Totally not coming back :(

    Cookie butter matcha

I've been here twice for their banana matcha and more recently, cookie butter matcha as well. Banana matcha wasn't as memorable other than the ceremonial grade matcha with a slightly umami taste. Banana cream was okay with bits of banana chips but it didn't particularly stand out to me. On the other hand, the cookie butter matcha was sooo good. I've been into fun and seasonal takes on matcha lately and this drink really satisfied that part of me. It's a matcha foam on top of sweetened milk with a generous lining of cookie butter around the cup. It's topped with a whole lotus biscoff cookie as a treat swimming in the matcha cold foam. The foam softens the cookie but still adds a nice texture to the drink. I was really impressed by the richness of the matcha cream as it wasn't harsh. It tastes similar to Izumi's matcha creme brulee which is very creamy. After mixing the milk and matcha layers, the cookie butter flavor was still prominent. I got 50% sweet but it tasted still pretty sweet in my opinion so I suggest getting less sugar. Cashier was super welcoming and the store had an inviting atmosphere with lots of seating. I think there's a discount if you pay in cash so I would suggest bringing bills with you. I look forward to my next trip to Teasociety for the cookie butter matcha :D

Came to this tea shop around 1:30pm. Thank god I did because it was quickly filled with students walking over from Silver Creek High School. I ordered the house milk tea and mango tea both at 50% and 35% sweet but both were overly sweet. Aim for a way lower sweetness level if you don't like sweet stuff. We also ordered the pandan waffles. The waffles were super crispy and just perfect on the taste. I also love the decor of the shop of plants and wood decor. I will be coming back very soon. Also wish they had popcorn chicken or chicken wings.

** Visited Monday, Sept. 16th, 2024 Came here around 7:30 pm on a Monday night with a friend after having dinner at QPOT across the plaza. I haven't been at Tea Society's location in a few years, and was pretty impressed with their new renovations. It's very bright now and looks much more spacious. To order, you can order through their kiosk or with a staff member. From this visit, it seems that their menu options were a little less from previous menu pictures. OKAY THE DRINKS: I had ordered an Orange Dragon Fruit tea with boba and a Cococado. The Orange Dragon Fruit tea was pretty refreshing and tasty, and their boba tasted great! It could have been because I ordered through the kiosk, but a few minutes after purchasing, a staff member had told me that their avocados weren't ripe and that they could not make the Cococado and for me to pick another drink to replace it. I found that a little odd, but ordered a strawberry smoothie instead. I'd probably come back here in the future, but there are other shops nearby as well.

(Ryan Reynolds voiceover) The vibe is hip, hidden gem Tea place! Tea Society! (Right next to Eye Q Optometry) Gem warmly greeted us! Hojicha. Wow! Roasted Japanese Green Tea is always so good and a pinch nutty! Superb! Cheese foam...good! Orange Dragon Fruit. Super refreshing! And the drink to get IF getting a drink here for the 1st time. 50% Sweet just as Gem would have it! Aloe & Basil seeds are a fab touch! Will be back! Thanks, Gem! Woohoo!

I've never noticed this tea place, but apparently, it's been here for a while. LOL. My bad. Spacious, quiet store with a huge long table and other smaller tables for people to sit and relax. Dark Roasted Oolong Milk Tea - the tea flavor seemed a bit muted at first. But after a while, I could appreciate the taste. I added boba and thought it was nice and chewy - not too soft. Overall, it's a good milktea place.

Dark Roasted Oolong: Extra Strong, No Sweet, Boba, Grass Jelly, Egg Pudding

Date: Friday, November 10th, 2023 Time: around 6:45pm What: Boba Tea Takeout Dark Roasted Oolong + Extra Strong + No Sweet + Boba + Grass Jelly Any time I go to Q Pot, I always hit up Teasociety afterwards. This time wasn't any different. Luckily it wasn't too busy and we didn't wait long. (I think there was only one person in line ahead of us.) I believe we used the kiosk and ordered from there, but I can't remember. I've also ordered from a live person and that was quick and easy as well. Their tea is consistent. The oolong strong. The balls soft and chewy. The grass jelly silky. My pic will be from May 2023, but I typically order more or less what's listed above. I did add egg pudding as a third topping for the tea in the pic. That was nice and creamy. Atmosphere was chill. I've hung out here as well to catch up with old friends. Nice place to listen to kpop and hang out. It's nice the music isn't blaring, so you can actually have a convo. Great spot to grab a boba tea if in the area.

    Green tea soursop
    Odelia F.

Cutesy and homey hangout spot with good drink selection. Cannot change ice level. Expect to pay $7-8/drink - Green tea soursop, 0% was the perfect, refreshing, 'not too sweet' beverage. Green tea was very floral, no bitterness. Paired well with the soursop puree + chunks. Though the photo had way more soursop and had a purple to yellow gradient? Stingy on the soursop for the price - Set up had couches, booth seating, plants, and a claw machine - Conveniently beside Pho Y #1 - Will be back for 50% off waffle Wednesday

I wrote a review a couple of weeks ago about the inconsistency in their banana matcha, and it seems like they listened and improved the quality of the banana cream--I love it! I'm so glad I can enjoy my favorite drink again.

Tried their Pandan boba - very delicious. Shop had plenty of seating! It seemed kind of empty for a Saturday night; but probably because there's so many other spots nearby.

Located in a little plaza that is near so many restaurants including my favorite, QPOT! Teasociety is great for dessert or if you want a quick boba run. There is plenty of parking and the service is okay, a little bit slow when preparing the drinks. The ambiance is very hip. Lots of young people tend to come and chill here. The drinks are okay in my opinion. Some are a hit or miss. I always get their matcha strawberry (Matcha Love). My favorite if I were to choose from here.

The parking lot is large, so we found parking with ease. Upon entering, we were greeted by the staff. I immediately noticed the "instagram-able" hanging seat with a flower backdrop. The cafe had an abundance of colorful decor and wall art. The comfortable tufted velvet seating matches the playfully vibe of the place. Drink orders Refreshers: -Horchata Made in house, creamy with a very sweet cinnamon flavor. -Pepino Con Limon Made in house, a wonderfully refreshing drink that is on the sweeter side Specialty Lattes: -Dulce De Leche (+ extra caramel, no ice) The staff was very accommodating. Ordered "iced" w/out ice. Flavor is coffee forward, but the drink is also very sweet. (Reminds me of the strength of sweet Vietnamese coffee). -Spanish latte (iced +vanilla foam) Great coffee flavor with a nice balance of creamy sweetness (creamier and a more balanced when compared to a Dulce De Leche). A wonderful drink if you want a coffee dessert drink. -Matcha Cloud - seasonal drink Coconut water with Matcha Foam is a wonderful pairing. The sweet coconut water really is refreshing without being too "sugary", while the matcha foam adds subtle matcha flavor that elevates the drink. This drink is perfect if you don't want something overly sugary/sweet. Snack: Next to the register, they sell a small variety bag of their pastries. The pastries are small bite sized pieces of the Larger pastries they offer. A great way to taste the various flavors and types of pastries, at a very reasonable price.
