    Mango Coconut Delight
    Eric H.

Feels like a place for younger kids so I felt a bit out of place here. There were board games and toys for kids for them to play with. I ordered the Mango Coconut Delight and it was a lot bigger than I expected. The coconut flavor was good and had bits of mango inside. I got 50% sweet but I still thought it was too sweet, perhaps because this place has a younger audience. If I came again I would opt for a lower sweetness.

Meow Tea Mix & Black Sugar Fresh Milk

I always stop by Meow Tea when I take my brother to get a haircut. I like how Meow Tea always has the deal of buy 2 get 1. There are a few chairs for you to sit on inside and parking is kind of difficult. The shop also provides a few games that you or children can play on. The pricing is decent and very affordable. Hits: * Meow Tea Mix is a good classic boba if that's what you're looking for. It comes with grass jelly, boba and coffee jelly. I do think the regular sweet is too sweet so I always get less sweet. * Mango Coconut Delight is also very refreshing. I enjoy the mango and like how it comes with egg pudding. Final Verdict: Solid 4/5. The shop is always playing sweet and cute music. We also ordered the Black Sugar Fresh milk but I found it kind of basic and didn't stick out much. The staff is also nice and answers any questions that I may have. Although parking is a bit difficult, it is kind of worth it for the deal they offer.

We got their honey yuzu with 50% sugar. This was very nice and refreshing. Surprised this came with jelly. A great value for $5! Would definitely come back to try their other drinks and snacks!

    Vietnamese Milk Coffee

Meow Cafe We ordered two drinks here 2 Wintermelon Aloe they had a "Buy two get one free deal" so we got a Vietnamese Milk Coffee. Drinks 5/5: The wintermelon aloe teas were rich in flavor and a great level of sweetness. The aloe was fresh and provided a great balance to the drink. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and flavorful. Since I drank the coffee the following morning after the ice melted, the cup looked a quarter empty. But it was a free drink so I shouldn't complain, but look at the photo of the unopened drink.

    Takoyaki

Wow! I have not been here in a long time! Hands down still the best takoyaki in town and the fish ball? Yum! I honestly come here more for their food than their drinks. Minus one star for the super long wait - it took about 30 minutes for 3 food items and 3 drinks. & it was hot and stuffy inside.

pandan waffle $4, mild pandan flavor.

food, service, ambiance - all okay. We had the wintermelon tea, earl grey milk tea and boba tea with creme. They have B2F1 which is a good deal. Their price is decent too. We ordered pandan waffle, it's crispy outside and soft inside, very mild pandan flavor. There is no AC, it's kind of warm inside. They have some board games which is good to kill time while waiting for the food and drinks.

Always come here for the avocado smoothie. Hidden gem in san jose. Their snacks are also delicious. Recommend to try the calamari heads. The shop is clean. Staff are friendly and flexible.

My favorite boba place in San Jose!! They usually have a buy 2 get 1 free deal and the drinks are so affordable. They have one of the largest menus I've seen with lots of variety and customization. They have a nice TV where they play music videos or movies. At my last visit, we ordered: - matcha with mango slush - matcha slush - watermelon slush All drinks are incredibly delicious and refreshing! The drinks are always good quality. They never miss!! I definitely recommend everyone to visit Meowtea in SJ.

Excellent fruit teas. I got mango, lychee, and peach teas with passion fruit popping bobas and lowest sugar level (10-25%). They have a buy 2 get 1 free deal. I paid $4.50 per drink + 0.50 per topping. Really affordable, but more importantly, very delicious teas. Their fruity teas are perfect treats on a hot day. The lychee tea has bits of lychee fruit in the drink. I really like the snacks too: takoyaki are my favorite. Service is great: nice and friendly. This is my favorite boba tea in San Jose.

Meow Tea is one boba shop that is low price specialized in freshly made brew coffee at $4 to $6 for matcha mango even their appetizers are price reasonably. Came by this afternoon traffic is quite busy on the weekends not the best time and neither is parking in tight quarters only which they choose another location. I was greeted as I came in order one of their house specials wintermelon aloe regular ice 25% sweetness price at $5 (comes in regular size only) and for appetizers 6 pieces of takoyaki balls price at $7 still a bargain some places they charge as much as $10. The interior is quite small less decorative if not plain like it doesn't stand out. Seems like it wasn't too busy and there were alot business in this tightly strip mall. Would definitely come back!

Meow Tea Special (comes with grass jelly, coffee jelly and pearls)
    Rene C.

Meow Tea located in the same plaza as Lee's market on Senter Road. Parkings are always tight, but never too hard to find an empty spot. I had their Meow Tea Special and I got to say it was surprisingly good. The drink is basically just regular milk tea with coffee jelly, grass jelly and boba. Their boba is soft and chewy. The grass jelly was smooth and refreshing. The coffee jelly was a little harder than I expected, but the flavor was on point. There was a good balance between the milk and tea, but I would recommend getting it at maybe 75% sweetness. Their takoyaki was pretty spot on too. It was piping hot and they were generous with the octopus filling. Meow Tea is definitely a hidden gem with pretty good drinks and tasty snack.

The Rose was nice, and the ahi was pretty good, but nothing noteworthy. There have been so many restaurants in that location over the last 25 years, starting back at the Chart House, so I suspect a really perfect dining experience might be required to stay around long term. On our latest visit we were sitting outside when it started raining. We walked inside and asked to move in since we had already ordered our food. At 9:30 a.m. there were only two other customers inside and plenty of open tables. The person who greeted us said, "Hmm, well I'm not sure... we have a big party coming at 11:30." I looked at my watch and replied, "That's two hours from now and there are lots of tables open right now." We got seated, our food arrived, and then it started raining harder. Instead of quietly moving out the couches to add additional tables and chairs, the staff dragged them all across the floor, creating loud scraping noises the entire time. It made for a really unpleasant dining experience. We asked for a little more coffee, but it never came. We even flagged down our server and she just stared at us blankly as if we had never asked. We eventually just got up and left. The food was good, but it doesn't make up for the terrible service and rude treatment.

It is a tiny restaurant nestled in between CVS and another business, I forget what. But there is a tree blocking their signage and the additional small stand-up sign barely draws enough attention to the location. Restaurant is small, but the service is prompt and friendly. You order through a QR code on the table and all mobile devices ordering from the same table will have their orders consolidated. Beef Udon stir fry is tasty, but as many have said, on the sweeter side. Loooooove the texture and chew of the udon noodles. Very springy, almost like korean rice cakes or gnocchi. Sake chirashi bowl was delicious too. Would be nice if the wasabi was on the side. My daughter loves sashimi but can't handle when the wasabi touches the fish. Too spicy for her. Freshness of the fish is good. It's not the luxury cut of salmon, but the quality is still very worthwhile. Can't go wrong with Cali Roll, sweet potato fries, and spring rolls (fried egg rolls). Kids gobbled them right up. My bestie also ordered a sizzling plate which she finished just as quickly. Definitely RECOMMEND this spot for small get togethers, party of 5 or less. They may not have much in sushi variety, but what they dish up, they serve with pride with modest prices. Cheers to the sweet woman who gave our kids lollipops after their meal. Very family friendly.

We ordered our favorite appetizer first and then placed the rest of our order. There were both a female and a male server, and neither of them made us feel welcome at all. The male server did not write anything down while taking our order and barely responded when I spoke. He gave no acknowledgment whatsoever, so I honestly could not tell whether he even heard me. It felt like the staff simply wanted us to leave as quickly as possible because the restaurant closes at 8 PM. We even rushed through our meal and made sure to leave before 8 PM out of consideration for the staff, yet we were still treated like an inconvenience the entire time. What shocked me the most was the hygiene issue. The black-haired female server at the counter near the entrance dropped a small stainless steel basket used for checks onto the floor, stepped on it with her shoe, then picked it up with her hands and placed it back without cleaning or sanitizing it. After that, she never washed or sanitized her hands, yet continued touching napkins, utensils, and setting tables. That is completely unacceptable, especially in a restaurant. To make things worse, my husband ordered a soju cocktail, and the male server placed the alcoholic drink directly in front of me even though I am visibly 9 months pregnant with a very large baby bump. He said nothing and walked away. Not once did the staff say "enjoy your meal" when serving our food. They never checked on our table even once afterward, and we never received any water or napkin refills. The only time the male server came back was after cleaning the restroom to tell us the kitchen was closing. If customers arriving after 7 PM are such an inconvenience, then please put a sign on the door telling people not to come in after that time. And most importantly, please teach your staff proper hygiene and basic customer service. This was one of the most unwelcoming and unsanitary dining experiences I have ever had.
