Best brown sugar tea. Plus buy 2 get one free! Haven't tried other drinks. Prices also on lower side.

The drinks looked exactly like the photos on the menu, which was amazing! Everything about our drinks was great--from the presentation to the taste. We took advantage of their special promotion: Buy 2 drink and get 1 free, which made the visit an even better value Service: Fast and efficient. Ordering and payment were quick and easy. Credit cards are accepted. Atmosphere: Relaxing environment with upbeat music playing in the background. There is limited indoor seating, with about 2 small tables and 6 chairs; a comfortable couch available. Nice small tv on the wall. Value: The prices are very reasonable, especially for boba and milk tea lovers. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty drinks, good deals, and friendly service. read more

Love coming here for multiple reasons... One is the deal of 2 $10.50 milk teas and you get one free. The other reason is the five star service i get . The kids hve always been respectful here, the workers here... When i say kids . My fam n i always pop in when we want cheap bobas and they make it great here. So definitely highly recommend it here for sure. Ambiance or rhe shop inside is also pretty nice and clean. It checks all the lists of my go to boba place amd affordability for sure. read more

Hidden gem! If you're looking for some nostalgic tasting boba that tastes good, AND it's affordable too? This is the place! The menu is huge, so I wanted to try something that seemed to be really popular amongst Yelp reviews. The Sea Salt Crema was highly reviewed, so I got this with the Dark Roast Oolong Tea. Super tasty! Definitely on the sweet side. I would suggest getting this at 25%! My friends also really enjoyed the Artichoke Juice and Mango Tea from here! read more

Underrated boba shop in the east side of San Jose! My friends and I decided to get some late evening boba before they closed at 7:30 pm. Though arriving at 7:10 pm, the staff were getting to ready to close shop and still took our orders! It's a warm boba shop when you come in with a cozy interior that's cat themed! There's a cute cat mirror and cat wall paining for that aesthetic picture with your boba. They have a daily special of buy 2 drinks get 1 free! Such a good deal. I got the mango tea 50% sweet with lychee jelly. Was done in 5 minutes and it was refreshing, sweet to my liking, and good! A great experience and I recommend that you should go here! read more

Feels like a place for younger kids so I felt a bit out of place here. There were board games and toys for kids for them to play with. I ordered the Mango Coconut Delight and it was a lot bigger than I expected. The coconut flavor was good and had bits of mango inside. I got 50% sweet but I still thought it was too sweet, perhaps because this place has a younger audience. If I came again I would opt for a lower sweetness. read more

I always stop by Meow Tea when I take my brother to get a haircut. I like how Meow Tea always has the deal of buy 2 get 1. There are a few chairs for you to sit on inside and parking is kind of difficult. The shop also provides a few games that you or children can play on. The pricing is decent and very affordable. Hits: * Meow Tea Mix is a good classic boba if that's what you're looking for. It comes with grass jelly, boba and coffee jelly. I do think the regular sweet is too sweet so I always get less sweet. * Mango Coconut Delight is also very refreshing. I enjoy the mango and like how it comes with egg pudding. Final Verdict: Solid 4/5. The shop is always playing sweet and cute music. We also ordered the Black Sugar Fresh milk but I found it kind of basic and didn't stick out much. The staff is also nice and answers any questions that I may have. Although parking is a bit difficult, it is kind of worth it for the deal they offer. read more

With all of the tea spots in the area, Meow Tea is just ok compared to the competition. Came in on a weekday and was the only person here. The place is located in a fairly busy plaza with a bunch of food and shops. It really felt like a hole-in-the-wall type of place but then again everything in this plaza kind of is. The interior is quite simple with well-loved furniture. Orders: - Meow Tea Mix: Less sweet. Comes with grass jelly, coffee jelly and pearls. Even though I got less sweet, because of the toppings, this got quite sweet for my tastes. Very creamy with soooo much toppings. - Honey Yuzu: More refreshing than I thought. I actually liked this one more than their signature Meow Tea Mix. - Popcorn chicken: Can add spice with the shaker on the rack next to the counter. Good amount of chicken but like 2 basil leaves :( Overall, I think Meow Tea is an ok spot for tea and snacks. They have a good variety of options and everything I tasted was ok. read more

Meow Cafe We ordered two drinks here 2 Wintermelon Aloe they had a "Buy two get one free deal" so we got a Vietnamese Milk Coffee. Drinks 5/5: The wintermelon aloe teas were rich in flavor and a great level of sweetness. The aloe was fresh and provided a great balance to the drink. The Vietnamese coffee was strong and flavorful. Since I drank the coffee the following morning after the ice melted, the cup looked a quarter empty. But it was a free drink so I shouldn't complain, but look at the photo of the unopened drink. read more

This shop is super cute highly recommend, the staff is friendly, I love this place so much, I've got a drink and the popcorn chicken

Excellent fruit teas. I got mango, lychee, and peach teas with passion fruit popping bobas and lowest sugar level (10-25%). They have a buy 2 get 1 free deal. I paid $4.50 per drink + 0.50 per topping. Really affordable, but more importantly, very delicious teas. Their fruity teas are perfect treats on a hot day. The lychee tea has bits of lychee fruit in the drink. I really like the snacks too: takoyaki are my favorite. Service is great: nice and friendly. This is my favorite boba tea in San Jose. read more

Wow! I have not been here in a long time! Hands down still the best takoyaki in town and the fish ball? Yum! I honestly come here more for their food than their drinks. Minus one star for the super long wait - it took about 30 minutes for 3 food items and 3 drinks. & it was hot and stuffy inside. read more

food, service, ambiance - all okay. We had the wintermelon tea, earl grey milk tea and boba tea with creme. They have B2F1 which is a good deal. Their price is decent too. We ordered pandan waffle, it's crispy outside and soft inside, very mild pandan flavor. There is no AC, it's kind of warm inside. They have some board games which is good to kill time while waiting for the food and drinks. read more

A small boba shop in a busy area and the parking is horrible. However, the service and their drink is great. The shop itself can get pretty hot, and the seating isn't the best. Even so, I think they're better than nearby boba spots like Ding Tai Tea. I love their 'buy 2, get 1 free' deal. Their snacks are really good. I got my family and friends hooked on their drinks, especially the mango milk mix. It's so goood! Their milk pudding is hands down the best I've ever had. Overall, this is one of my top go to places for boba! read more

Great tea for a great price! Staff is very nice. I mainly dislike finding parking though.

I came here with a friend today and got the rose tea with sea salt creama. I was expecting that the 50% sugar was less sweet but it ended up being too sweet. However I like the cat themed ambiance and the takoyaki snacks. Nice, clean boba shop, and I like that the shop has board games to play! The service was quick. read more

My favorite boba place in San Jose!! They usually have a buy 2 get 1 free deal and the drinks are so affordable. They have one of the largest menus I've seen with lots of variety and customization. They have a nice TV where they play music videos or movies. At my last visit, we ordered: - matcha with mango slush - matcha slush - watermelon slush All drinks are incredibly delicious and refreshing! The drinks are always good quality. They never miss!! We've patronized Meow Tea a few times by now with no ill effect but an at a recent visit, we got 3 different drinks, but only I was affected: An hour or so after I had consumed most of my rose milk tea with pudding, I started feeling nauseous, and then other symptoms of food poisoning kept me up throughout the night and reluctant to eat anything more. Service was fine, everything else was as expected. Dear Meow Tea, please manage your inventory so that it doesn't result in food poisoning for your customers, thank you! read more

Meow Tea located in the same plaza as Lee's market on Senter Road. Parkings are always tight, but never too hard to find an empty spot. I had their Meow Tea Special and I got to say it was surprisingly good. The drink is basically just regular milk tea with coffee jelly, grass jelly and boba. Their boba is soft and chewy. The grass jelly was smooth and refreshing. The coffee jelly was a little harder than I expected, but the flavor was on point. There was a good balance between the milk and tea, but I would recommend getting it at maybe 75% sweetness. Their takoyaki was pretty spot on too. It was piping hot and they were generous with the octopus filling. Meow Tea is definitely a hidden gem with pretty good drinks and tasty snack. read more

A hidden boba spot. Don't expect this place to serve gourmand level of boba, for a promotion of buy two get one free, you're there to get refreshments for $10/3 drinks. Meow Tea is one boba shop that is low price specialized in freshly made brew coffee at $4 to $6 for matcha mango even their appetizers are price reasonably. Came by this afternoon traffic is quite busy on the weekends not the best time and neither is parking in tight quarters only which they choose another location. I was greeted as I came in order one of their house specials wintermelon aloe regular ice 25% sweetness price at $5 (comes in regular size only) and for appetizers 6 pieces of takoyaki balls price at $7 still a bargain some places they charge as much as $10. The interior is quite small less decorative if not plain like it doesn't stand out. Seems like it wasn't too busy and there were alot business in this tightly strip mall. Would definitely come back! read more

Small Mom and Pop shop, with reasonable prices in this economy. Boba drinks is okay and would recommend going below the 75% sweetness range. They have a daily deal of buy 2 get 1 free which is great. Way better than Ding Tea nearby imo. Inside is pretty warm/hot so if your looking for a study spot, maybe not here during the hot weather times. Service is good and not much to say about it. If you want your budget Boba, this is the spot. Support your local businesses. read more

Good place for milktea. Reasonable price and best quality. Customer service is friendly. Highly recommend.

Ahhh I used to frequent Meow Tea a LOT - it's one of the hidden gems in the area with great quality tea for great value. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to come back until recently, and to my surprise, there have been numerous changes in ownership since my last visit (probably 4-5 years ago). There's currently a buy 2, get 1 free promotion so we got 3 drinks for $9 or so! Can't get a better deal than that! We ordered: -oolong milk tea with crystal boba, 50% sugar, 50% ice (this was my go-to in the past). You can definitely taste the tea in this drink! perfectly creamy too. definitely hasn't changed recipes despite change in ownership. -strawberry milk mix - 50% sugar - this is a drink blended with ice. One of the few places in SJ (or only place?) that has a drink like this! -jasmine milk tea with crystal boba, 50% sugar, 50% ice I'd definitely come back if I was in the area - great value AND great quality! next time, I'll give their snacks a try. read more

Order: icy winter, oolong milk tea, lychee milk tea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Went to a hole in the wall boba shop!! The icy winter was my favorite drink, it was a winter melon smoothie drink with pudding and grass jelly. the topping matched so well with the winter melon drink, the pudding was firm and sweet. The blended winter melon drink was very refreshing. I added grass jelly into the lychee milk tea. The milk tea was very fragrant, and I could taste the tea really well. Same with the oolong milk tea, the tea was very pronounced!! They don't skimp out on the tea!! P.S. they are also doing BUY 2 GET 1 FREE deal!!! It's a steal for these wonderful drinks! Very inexpensive place for boba tea and other grab and go beverages. Excellent customer service. Speaks good English. Very decent and good size drinks. $4-$7 can get you more here. Accepts credit cards. Try some small snacks or appetizers if you like. Nice decor, modern, and clean spot inside the strip plaza near Lee's Supermarket and other Vietnamese mom and pop stores. Parking lot gets crowded at times as there are heavy traffic on Senter Rd. in San Jose. Long and overdue review. I didn't run into long lines yet. Fairly quiet and low key. Not much happens inside. You can sit inside or order on the go. I like the coconut milk, lychee milk, and honeydew milk teas. Easy breezy at the counter. Typical beverage place, but with long options and varieties on menu. Review menu in advance. They have pretty much all the ones you want for fruit teas, boba tea, smoothies, etc. I enjoyed waiting around and just looking at the clean decorations on walls. Love it when they have the buy two get one free deals or anything similar. Not bad at all for the price point. I'll be back for more when I see the deal offerings again. Good prices for sure. read more

Meow Tea is a small boba shop in a very cramped strip plaza. Parking is very limited and it was hard to park because of how closely park everyone were parking since it was small plaza/parking lot. I thought it would be more of a cat themed cafe, but it was very simple inside. I opted for their jasmine milk tea with boba. The milk tea had a good creaminess to it with a good tea balance to it as well. The boba was on the chewier side and I felt like it was a workout just trying to chew the boba. My coworker was trying to find a simple chocolate smoothie or something similar, but they did not have any and were not as helpful, so she did not order anything. Even though we were the only ones in there, my drink took awhile to come out. read more

First timer. We had a huge dim sum lunch and decided to seek out some dessert to top off our afternoon. This milk tea shop found us through a yelp search and we decided to give it a go. It's located in a very busy shopping strip on Senter Road with tigghhhtttt parking stalls -- one of the reasons I've never been a fan of that strip mall. Anyway, when we walked in -- it was quiet (no music) and with just a few customers. I ordered the Watermelon Aloe and my girl ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea topped with their sea salt crema. My drink was fine but probably could've used more watermelon bits as there was heavy ice. I'm not complaining though because the drinks prices were actually inexpensive relative to their local competitors. As an example, both our drinks cost just under $10 while I could easily get a drink from another shop and pay about the same price for one drink. The guy who took our order was chill. Didn't have a lot of energy but was accommodating and friendly. Based on the menu boards, I would be interested in returning to trying other signature drinks. read more

Meow Tea is a hidden gem among the Bay Area boba spots! Coming here, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable pricing of boba drinks on the menu. I hardly see any Bay Area boba spots with drink prices under 5 dollars so it was awesome that this spot still had great prices. Besides that the drink was actually very yummy- we had the black sugar fresh milk with boba. Drink was good and boba texture was perfectly chewy/soft. We also ordered the takoyaki which was really good too! Would def come back here! read more

Updating my review bc this place has been consistently good! It's a great place for snacks and drinks. I've tried a variety of milk tea and fruit teas and have enjoyed them all. But this place has not let me down :') Highly recommend! read more

By far the MOST AFFORDABLE boba in the Bay Area! Meow Tea's beverages range from $4.00 - $5.50 (+ their "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" promotion) with an extremely large menu for coffee, milk tea, fruit tea, and more. I normally order the Earl Grey Milk Tea with grass jelly and honey boba; it always comes out tasting delicious and perfect for when I have a lot on my plate! The food ordered, calamari and takoyaki, was super tasty as well and paired greatly with the tea. Things to take note of though are that the wait is longer than most places due to being a Mom & Pop business and that the taste of the drinks themselves may not be as good as teahouses such as TenRen's Teahouse or Boba Guys. However, with the prices that Meow Tea presents, these points can be easily excused if you're looking for something new and in-budget for a boba run! read more

I love it when boba shops have savory snacks. Meow Tea had a buy 2 get 1 free promotion, so my partner and I got a classic milk tea, oolong milk tea, kumquat tea, and a pandan waffle. We were surprised at how inexpensive everything was! I'm so used to milk tea being at least $5+ and waffles being at least $6+, so I thought this was a really good deal! I have a sweet tooth, so I generally like to order my drinks with 100% sweetness. I ordered 100% sweetness for the oolong milk tea and kumquat tea and these two drinks were a bit too sweet for me. I think I could've went with 75% haha. The drinks were really good! The pandan waffle was cooked perfectly. It smelled amazing and it tasted great! The shop is kind of small. It's not very obvious from the outside. It's located in a Vietnamese plaza. There are a few tables inside. The shop itself looks minimal and clean. Needed that last minute beverage fix and decided to go with Meow Tea after seeing the positive reviews. The little tea joint is located at this Asian strip mall. The dirty look on that cat (logo) was probably a sign for me.... but, darn it, I needed something to quench that thirst. The place looked as if Prince took over and glossed it purple. Game corner had some old school stuff like Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots and card games for patrons to play with. Nice service but mediocre drinks. My watermelon aloe vera was watered down and filled with sugar. The cat Jinxed me I tell ya! read more
