Amazing! You will not be disappointed! We went to a festival in Old Town Spring after my son's baseball game where the restaurant ran out of BBQ. I looked online for a place close by with good reviews. The food here is amazing and the staff was personable. Nikita was the hostess/server and Vernon was the cook. The owner opened the door upon our arrival as he was leaving for the day. We had the burger, ribs, sausage with a ton of sides! We had yams (delicious), collard greens (just ok), green beans (delicious), potato salad (delicious), beans (nice flavor with a kick), fries (soo good!). Everything was seasoned well and the portion sizes were perfect. My family will go again and support this new business. Good BBQ is hard to find, so I was excited to try this place out. Got the four-meat platter so I could get a reasonable sample--brisket, pulled pork, sausage, and ribs, with collard greens and green beans on the side. The makings of good bbq are here. The brisket did not need a knife to cut it, though I occasionally used it. That's huge. The pulled pork was reasonably tender and juicy, and the ribs actually ate neatly--tender, but you could bite through the meat and it didn't fall apart. I'm OK with that. My issue is that all of the meats were on the bland side. The sauce didn't have much tang or kick. I was half tempted to salt the food, which shouldn't happen with bbq. The sides were not memorable. Collards are an acquired taste. The green beans were even mushier than they usually are in southern cooking. The cornbread was also bland, and a little undercooked. BBQ is hard! That's why, despite my issues, I give it four stars. I've had a lot worse. But I'm one of those people that waits for hours in line at Corkscrew or the other top BBQ places in the area. This is competent but not amazing. If you want edible BBQ and don't want to wait for the premium items, this would be a reasonable choice. read more

My coworkers asked to try this place out when they were coming from out of town. I was hesitant due to lack of reviews, but I am very glad we tried it. This is some of the best BBQ I've had in a while. The brisket was dry, but the potato salad and coleslaw helped moisten the meat. I totally recommend it for any fellow carnivores out there. What a gem! The boyfriend and I spent the day in Old Spring celebrating the anniversary of our first date. Wanted something to eat on the way home and we're in the mood for BBQ. First place we drove to was closed so we found Teague's on Yelp. It was definitely meant to be. The service was 10 out of 10 and the food was even more amazing. Lee, Demarcus and Vernon are such good people. They gave us the rundown on everything since it was our first visit and loaded us up. My man had a plate with ribs, sausage, Potato salad, pasta salad and jalapeño cornbread. I had the stuffed baked potato with brisket and coke slaw. And if that wasn't enough Lee gave us a sample of their Pineapple Pudding...one of the best desserts I have EVER had. Vernon had just made a fresh pan so we had to get two orders to go so we wouldn't fight over it at home. I will come back and bring my friends. Outstanding experience. read more

We got the pulled pork loaded baked potato and the brisket loaded baked potato. GREAT, PERFECT, EXCELLENT- how else can I describe these? Perfect amount of sour cream, cheese, chives, butter and a HUGE dollop of meat on both potatoes. The bbq sauce was VERY delicious for both the adults AND small kids (picky kids!) . I tried challenging my pallet to try to pick which potato I liked better and after many, many additional bites "just to be sure", I had to pick the brisket based only on the slightly sweeter and smokey nature of brisket compared to the pork. But they were both amazing. My mother-in-law says that it will be their "new bbq go-to place" as me and my family are visiting from Louisiana. Great job, y'all. Don't over look this BBQ place! My parents were in town and wanted some good bbq...We hate having to wait in line at Corkscrew with no real guarantee of anything so we stopped by Teagues. The brisket and ribs were juicy, tender and THICK, the sauce was just right and the sides and peach cobbler was on point. The BEST service too. My husband commented that it felt like we were being welcomed into their home when we arrived. We now have our go to BBQ spot. My only recommendation would be to add some Mac and Cheese to the menu because like everything else we tried here, I'm sure it would be amazing. We WILL be back! read more

We will never go back to this place again! Worst bbq we have ever had! Ended up just throwing it in the trash, waste of $30 plus dollars! Meat on my potato was loaded with fat globs throughout the potato. Potato was not fresh and tasted reheated! My chopped beef sandwich was full of fat globs as well and the chopped beef was whitish grey! Never saw that before! We tried Teague's based on recommendations from our Next Door page and loved it! It is a small, clean restaurant in a shopping center on Spring Stuebner between I-45 and Falvel. The people are very friendly, and the food is delicious! I had brisket with candied yams and green beans, and my husband had ribs with cole slaw and pasta salad. We had pineapple pudding for dessert.
