Delicious BBQ ribs and chicken combo plate. Great smoky flavor w. really good sauce. Very tender chicken leg and thigh falling off the bone... tender ribs pieces but not a fan of the end piece... baked beans, yams, pickles, and Texas toast were excellent compliments to the BBQ meats. Definitely recommend... welcoming and friendly owners, just like family....

I was visiting my grandmother in Spring last weekend and wanted BBQ so we went to Teague's because it was right up the street. Upon our first steps into the restaurant the owner was very welcoming. The hospitality was remarkable and the touch of Mr. Teague's football career displayed on the wall was interesting. The food was very tasty and did not disappoint. The pineapple pudding was the first time I had ever heard of such a thing and it was so good. The best way to describe it was like banana pudding except with pineapples. They even gave us a free beer to enjoy while we waited for our food. When ever I visit the area I will be sure to stop by Teague's for my Texas BBQ fix.

This was some pretty decent bbq. The yams were the tastiest of this meal. Who ever made it made that all with love. The greens were okay. The cornbread was decent. The sausage was okay. I didn't care for the ribs. The ribs were tough. I hardly ever order ribs from anywhere because most times they're tough. I was disappointed because I asked if the meat was fall off the bone tender. Bbq sauce tasted decent. My sides were better than my bbq. Place was very clean and the staff was nice. I really wanted to love this place based on other reviews from a food group I'm in. The sides were the star of my dish and I wish it would've been the bbq.

We've all experienced that dreadful moment when all you can taste in barbecue is saltiness, but this bbq was decently-seasoned. I ordered take-out due to the coronavirus pandemic still going on. The smoked sausage was tasteful and it accommodated well with their sweet bbq sauce. The smoked chicken and pork ribs were juicy, but the briskets were kinda dry and hardened. The side dishes were mediocre at best and I certainly want to warn whomever to avoid the jalapeño cornbread. It was dryer than the Sahara desert and just sad. This little dusty cornbread needed a prayer, for real. Overall, this place was okay.

    False advertising

Don't order the loaded baked potato on door dash that picture a potato with chopped brisket, a rib, and sausage as you will receive a plain baked potato. After receiving my order I contact Teagues to let them know and they said to take it up with DoorDash and that they haven't had a problem before. Clearly, they could improve on their customer service as well.

I wanted to love this BBQ, I had read such great reviews about it but the truth is, the meat was really dry. There wasn't enough sauce to really moisten it up with my to-go order. The potato was huge and it was good but again, not enough sauce. I will say the sides were good. I had coke slaw and sweet potatoes with my Brisket and Turkey platter. The cornbread was ok but a bit dry. And the peach cobbler was delicious. The pineapple dessert was kinda like one of those fluff desserts so not sure it was worth the price.

Brisket Sandwich (chopped), Candied Yams, Peach Cobbler. All was great!!!

Really enjoy coming to this place. The food here is really tasty and fresh. Belinda is such a wonderful hostess and friendly person. I've had several items on the menu which all tastes good to me, but my go-to item is the pulled pork sandwich. Juicy and flavorful. Side items including beans, yams, and cobbler also tasty! Definitely will return. Parking lot is huge and shared with the shopping strip.

-The WORST I have ever been treated by a business-…read more I have been on this planet for almost 37 years now and have never been talked to, policed by, treated-as-poorly or had my integrity insulted by a business like I was this evening. The premise is simple - if the party does not pay to have bar service then NO alcohol is to be on the premises. (All-good at face value. After all, they are a business and protecting themselves.) What was NOT good was how they went about policing people coming into the party (going as far as to check inside of new arrivals trunks to check for alcohol! I'm sorry, are you the police?) The bartender actually went as far as to - literally here folks - RIP a bag of liquors out of my hands while I was on the phone with my wife. (Uhh...EXCUSE ME?! Assault people much?) This was not the end of our playful trysts of the evening. When we asked her to have the booze back so we could keep it sealed and place it into our locked vehicles, she said that she couldn't do that due to the fact that the business couldn't monitor alcohol outside of the bar. "OK, well - that's my property and I'm going to go put it in my vehicle (again, also my property), where it can stay put and remain unopened." Again, she said she couldn't do that. "So, you're saying that I cannot have my property back?" "Yes sir. I'm sorry, but that is our policy - we simply do not have the staff available to follow individuals around the whole night to make sure they are complying with our policy." "OK! So then can you apologize for acting so rudely and unprofessionally, as to actually remove the bag from my possession while I'm having a conversation with my wife on the phone?! Or, is it too much for me to ask for an additional apology for insulting my integrity?" "Sir, I don't know why you are getting upset and rude with me." At this point I turn to my co-worker beside me and give him the look. [Um, I don't remember calling her any names or yelling or otherwise throwing a tantrum. I've been very calm and understanding up until this point.] "Ma'am, obviously there's been a miscommunication. But we're not being rude with you or upset, although now I'm beginning to become upset." Long story short, we talked with the head of our party, who spoke with the manager. Stephanie, the manager, gave permission for the alcohol to be moved into the bridal suite where there is a refrigerator. I then proceeded to move said liquor to the bridal suite. ---Fast forward 1 hour later--- Well the ceremony is done and it's a hot day. I'm headed over to the bridal suite to have a quick cocktail - not to leave the suite of course! - Only to find out that they had come back into the suite and...get this; STOLEN the liquor!!! No notice. No 'Hey, by the way, we needed to move the liquor in your suite for whatever lame excuse I can come up with.' NOTHING. I swear. It took everything I had at the end of the night not to throw a bottle through a plate glass window! The nerve of these people! I don't know how you could expect someone to have a decent experience when you treat your guests with such blatant disrespect!! So on the hospitality scale, I would give this place a -10. However, I'm sure that if you opt-in for the open bar then you'll have a good time. Provided no one in your party actually has to deal with the snooty-brat-turned-bartender; or has any civil misunderstanding with management. By the way, the view is fantastic! :)

From the moment we…read moretoured the property, we were absolutely in awe -- especially when we saw the huge oak tree where we held our ceremony. The venue itself is stunning, beautifully maintained, and you can immediately tell this is a family-run venue that takes incredible pride in their property, buildings, and service. From the very beginning, the entire team was friendly, accommodating, and so easy to work with. One of the things we loved most was that they have two separate houses on the property -- one for the bride and one for the groom -- and both were spacious and comfortable, which was something we struggled to find at other venues. The venue package itself included so much: tables, linens, water goblets, plates, silverware, and chargers, along with the option for either an indoor or outdoor reception space. They do require the use of their in-house caterer, bartender, and security team, but honestly, that ended up being one of the biggest positives. The menu selection was great, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and our guests could not stop talking about how good the drinks were all night long. Leading up to the wedding, they were incredibly flexible and accommodating, which made planning so much easier and less stressful. They even allowed us to bring everything over the day before the wedding, which made a huge difference because we were able to focus on getting ready and actually enjoying our day. Unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day, so we ultimately had to move our reception indoors. The team was so patient while we watched the weather and decided what to do. We made the final decision only about an hour before the ceremony, and they moved incredibly fast to completely transform the indoor space so our coordinators could come in and finish decorating. They handled everything calmly and professionally during what could have been a very stressful situation. What stood out most to us throughout the entire day was how accommodating and attentive the team was. No matter what was happening, they made us feel supported, reassured, and genuinely cared for. They were always nearby if we needed something, consistently checking in, and doing everything they could to make sure the day went smoothly so we could truly enjoy every moment. The team at Oak Tree Manor truly made us feel cared for every step of the way. Their kindness, professionalism, flexibility, and attention to detail helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect, and we are so grateful for them.

She had been wanting to celebrate here the past couple years, but the Texans were usually still playing, so she'd pick a brewery in Spring with TVs instead. The entrance is inconspicuous and is one way in/out. Parking is decent. You can take tours when in season. When we were there, there was a baby shower happening in the small barn-looking building and a cooking class on the covered patio. So, we sat outside in the cold with some sun shades covers. It was a huge, open area. The sun was out, so it wasn't too bad. They could use some outdoor warmers or a fire pit. You go inside and order wine and food. They had limited options and didn't have any non-alcoholic wines. They had water and soft drinks for NA drinkers. No charcuterie since they had so many different events happening. There were 2-3 people manning the bar, and they seemed a little unorganized or critical of each other's help. It was strange. I tried a few samples of their rosè, one Chardonnay and a sparkling before I settled on 2023 Laren's Wild Rosé with strawberry and rose petal undertones. I liked it because it was less dry than the other rosé. Other than the baby shower and cooking class, it wasn't very busy on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few parents letting their kids run around the area and on the stage. There was live music inside. Staff would come out to pick up wine glasses and serve the flatbread that some people in our party ordered. The pepperoni pizza looked good. I ate before I got there, so I didn't try. I particularly wouldn't return unless it was a family or friend celebration of some sort. While not a vineyard, there are other wine bars in the city that offer NA options, a larger wine selection and food.

They had an abundance of decorations around the upstairs of the venue and I was told I could pick from these things for the centerpieces and decorations. Due to COVID my wedding date was changed from May to November. The wedding was paid in full. After the date changed the venue became impossible to contact. A couple of months prior to the wedding I called and left multiple messages that were never returned. My wedding coordinator called and received no return calls. My Dad sent an email to the venue owner Leon and he did not respond. My friend called and left a voicemail inquiring to book and she was immediately called back and then I was able to speak to the venues new planner Odessa. She directed all questions to Leon. Eventually I was able to meet with the owner who stated he would not provide a refund for the food as the guest count went from 150 to 100. He was unapologetic regarding the catering refund and regarding the venues lack of communication. When I was able to pick out decorations a month prior to my wedding date the upstairs where the decorations were held was super bare. They did not have the decorations anymore and said they were stored off the property now. They kept calling to check inventory and they only had one or two of each centerpieces. The flowers were also in poor condition. Thursday the day of the rehearsal we were informed by the event coordinator Odessa that Leon stated we could not go into the venue until an hour before the event so all vendors had to be rescheduled. We were told that as long as we provided a schedule the vendors could start arriving at 1030am. When I arrived the day of the event the cottages I had paid for months prior were filthy. Stains on the bed, dead roaches and frogs, and the mini fridge was broken and smelled like mildew and the cottage ac unit did not work. The wedding chapel had lots of mosquitos and the chair linens were stained. The fireworks and the food that were provided by the event were great. In short the venue kept in deplorable condition and the staff very unprofessional. I would not book again with them again. Brides beware of this venue and do not book with them!

The servers are dressed in flight attendant uniforms and the decor is all related to a flight to a far away land. We learned from Jennifer, our "attendant," that the flight theme comes from wine flights. The wine bar started in a very small area serving wine flights. They grew to the location they are in now. The aesthetic, the food and the music will make you forget you're in Texas. As soon as we walked in, the owner, Thomas appeared from nowhere greeting us and asking about our day. He took time to listen and introduce himself to us. He escorted us to a quaint area with a love seat and chairs so we could take in the entire restaurant. The setting of the restaurant has tables, couches or loungers and a bar that is both inside and out. We enjoyed a cheese and olive tray which paired perfectly with our wine. I enjoyed a glass of Bilo Idro (similar to a Chenin Blanc) and my husband enjoyed a glass of Clos Pissarra (similar to a red blend). Before we left, Jennifer gave us a taste of her favorite white wine as our parting gift in hopes we will return soon. Listen. When I say we will be back. We will be back. They informed me they were going to an maje paella. I of course replied, 'I'm in!' My wife and kids inside, we were seated in an empty dining room and immediately informed of the number of reservations the restaurant was expecting, followed by a firm notice that our table would need to be turned within an hour and a half. She went on to inform us of how busy they expected to be that day. This was communicated before we were offered a wine menu, water, or any standard welcome. If I were looking to buy in or invest, it would be fine to discuss the ebb and flow of business but we wanted just to try a new place. I understand that reservation management is part of running a successful restaurant, but how that information is delivered matters a great deal. Leading with constraints rather than hospitality sets an uncomfortable tone -- particularly in a room with empty tables. A simple acknowledgment of the time window after seating, paired with the wine list and a warm greeting, would have made the same operational point without making guests feel like an inconvenience. Ultimately, we decided not to disrupt the reservations and spend our day elsewhere. I would encourage management to revisit front-of-house training. The first ninety seconds of a guest's experience shapes the entire meal, and prioritizing efficiency over welcome undermines whatever the kitchen has to offer. My prediction; less than two years this place will be up for lease.
