False advertisement of what they offer. Speakers in the chapel week blown and could jot be used, but this was not deviled at the time of the consultation. Promised the waterfall would be working for wedding but it was not and no one was available to correct the problems with there not being any water in the restroom for the guest. Cabins offered for Bride and Groom to get dressed in we dirty with cobwebs and smeared Mirrors. Decoration were old and tattered not what they show you during consultation. Overcharged for cake and refreshment. Did not have glasses or cups for tea and lemonade they provided. My wedding turned into the worst day of my life, DJ they provided played incorrect music during ceremony and reception. Owner called me a liar when I confronted him about the restrooms and non operational waterfall, which ruined the photos for my wedding. The place is old and the owner is dishonest, stay away from this place. They steal your money then call you a liar. read more

My wedding was originally booked with Spring Chateau for May 2020. When booking we met with Heather who told us the venue was in the process of fixing things around the grounds. They had an abundance of decorations around the upstairs of the venue and I was told I could pick from these things for the centerpieces and decorations. Due to COVID my wedding date was changed from May to November. The wedding was paid in full. After the date changed the venue became impossible to contact. A couple of months prior to the wedding I called and left multiple messages that were never returned. My wedding coordinator called and received no return calls. My Dad sent an email to the venue owner Leon and he did not respond. My friend called and left a voicemail inquiring to book and she was immediately called back and then I was able to speak to the venues new planner Odessa. She directed all questions to Leon. Eventually I was able to meet with the owner who stated he would not provide a refund for the food as the guest count went from 150 to 100. He was unapologetic regarding the catering refund and regarding the venues lack of communication. When I was able to pick out decorations a month prior to my wedding date the upstairs where the decorations were held was super bare. They did not have the decorations anymore and said they were stored off the property now. They kept calling to check inventory and they only had one or two of each centerpieces. The flowers were also in poor condition. Thursday the day of the rehearsal we were informed by the event coordinator Odessa that Leon stated we could not go into the venue until an hour before the event so all vendors had to be rescheduled. We were told that as long as we provided a schedule the vendors could start arriving at 1030am. When I arrived the day of the event the cottages I had paid for months prior were filthy. Stains on the bed, dead roaches and frogs, and the mini fridge was broken and smelled like mildew and the cottage ac unit did not work. The wedding chapel had lots of mosquitos and the chair linens were stained. The fireworks and the food that were provided by the event were great. In short the venue kept in deplorable condition and the staff very unprofessional. I would not book again with them again. Brides beware of this venue and do not book with them! read more

While I did not choose to book this venue for my wedding, I felt it important to make future brides aware of the people they will be dealing with. First off, it is a lovely venue. I must say that the amenities they offer are great. However, I went in this week to view the venue and felt completely rushed. It seemed like the coordinator felt put out to show the venue. I think that for such an important event for which someone shells out over ten grand, there should be a little more enthusiasm with those involved. This venue books two weddings a day. You get one hour to get ready. It all seems very rushed. For those people who have had great experiences here, I am glad of it, but all the other things which I experienced completely turned me off of this location. read more

The place is pretty, but the management people not so much. Very rushed and would not open the ballroom until the exact time on invitation. People were waiting outside sweating. We were totally embarrassed. They told us they were running out of beer soon after the party started. My husband and I ran out to a local liquor store and got more beer and wine. Come to find out there was more than plenty. We would never recommend to future brides and grooms. read more

I attended a wedding at Spring Chateau in August 2014. Overall it was a lovely event and the fireworks at the end of the reception was a perfect ending (although I could not help to feel it is an excellent way to get guests out of the building to met their, "you must be out by 10p.m." dead line.) There were issues. I found Janie to be extremely rude. Which I could not understand. A wedding is one of the happiest day in our lives, why would this women be so unpleasant. I was in the reception area, headed to the cottage to visit the bride. Janie was EXTREMELY rude and told me I could not exit through the door closest to the cottage but had to exit the opposite door. She had put a chair in front of the closed door which was later removed. I thought this was childish and uncalled for and I questioned her reasoning. She was also rude to the outside caterer and extremely rude to the brides mother. The brides mother had requested front row chairs in the Chapel to be removed to allow more room for the bridal party. They were moved to the Chapel restrooms, making the women's room unuseable. I had to move fifteen to twenty chairs to gain access, besides the fact it looked extremely unprofessional and like a storage room. The chairs were also in the mens restroom. Making the restroom unuseable, grandparents and guests would have to exit the Chapel and locate the restrooms in the reception building. Totally unacceptable. The Cottage where the bride and bridesmaids dressed was extremely hot. Actually the only area that had adequate air conditioning was the Chapel, except for the area where the bride enters from behind closed doors. For an August wedding, not acceptable. The groom and groomsmen dressed in rooms off the reception area, also not adequately air conditioned. This is minor. The photo booth was fun but the accessories you put on for the pictures looked like they had seen better days and there could of been a better selection. Like I said, overall it was a lovely wedding. The grounds are very nice, although I don't believe the outside waterfall was ever turned on. Would I consider booking a wedding for a family member at Spring Chateau? Not if I had to deal with Janie. And the air conditioning issue was resolved. (I understand a wedding was held during the winter and the building was so cold guests left early). What a fabulous venue to have an event! We visited several venues for our year end girls basketball banquet before deciding on Spring Chateau. Jeanie and Jennifer madevour decision easy. They were friendly, easy to reach and worked within our budget! Our girls never thought that they would raise enough to host a banquet outside the school cafeteria but Jeanie and Jennifer helped us pull it off. As one parent stated she had never been to a high school athletic banquet that had so much class, glamour and style. Thanks to Jeanie (Event Coordinator) and Daniela and Tamicha from Sugar Bunch Creations our theme of Lights,Camera,Action and Evening At The ESPY Awards came to life. The girls even commented that it was worth stepping out of their traditional jeans and t-shirts into heels and dresses! My daughter and new Son in Law had their wedding at the Spring Chateau this past weekend. WHAT AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! We met with the Manager close to a year before the event. Everything we discussed was documented in a contract so that nothing was missed and everything was clearly understood. Closer to the event, we requested SEVERAL changes..our event coordinator (Lynn) was very patient and even helpful with finalizing the small details. On the day of the event NOTHING went wrong. Everything was sooo beautiful. The food was delicious and the staff were very professional and friendly. I was TOTALLY satisfied! It couldn't have been any better. ***This venue needs upgrades. There's a lot of sitting water on the property so my wife and the bridal party got bit by mosquitos outside of the chapel. Also, the employee turnover rate here appears to be high as we've already dealt with three different ppl. In about April 2017 my wife and I visited the Spring Chateau and met with the manager Leon Wright to discuss having our wedding there. We agreed to have our wedding there and scheduled it for October 20, 2018. At that time, communications were sent by email from an employee named Gabby. Gabby informed us that our wedding rehearsal would be scheduled for the Thursday prior to the wedding at 6pm. Since our wedding rehearsal was during the week, members of our bridal party had to request off of work early and fly in early from different states. My wife's 92 and 86-year-old grandparents also flew in from Denver to make it to the rehearsal. In addition to that, we had to pay to have vendors attend the rehearsal. When we arrived at the venue, the gates were locked and there was nobody there. We called the Spring Chateau and left voicemails but there was no response. We even sent emails. There was another family also waiting who said that their rehearsal was scheduled for 6 pm in the chapel (which is where our rehearsal was as well- they double booked us). My family and I attempted to do a rehearsal in the parking lot of the business next door to the venue. The next day we were hoping to receive a call and at least an apology from the Spring Chateau but they did not reach out to us. I called and spoke to a new employee names Elizabeth who stated that Leon was busy at the moment. My wife and I went to the venue in the afternoon and spoke with Leon. Leon already knew about the issue because the other family had already contacted him (which made me upset that he did not reach out to us). My wife and I were very upset because we were a day prior to our wedding without a wedding rehearsal and all Leon kept saying was that Gabby no longer worked there and he knew nothing about the rehearsal. We explained that that was an unacceptable excuse and that regardless of who works there, they were aware that we were having a wedding and had not had a rehearsal. Long story short, I requested a refund for the rehearsal, vendor fees, and for an additional table I'd added for the reception. Leon agreed to refund us $325.00. I asked him to put the agreement in writing and he wrote a promissory note that he would refund the money a week after the wedding. In addition, Leon stated that we could come to the venue early to get ready and use the chapel. Weeks after the wedding we did not receive a refund so we reached out to the Spring Chateau. It took about two weeks to get a definite response. A new employee (apparently Elizabeth no longer works there) emailed stating that we owed the Spring Chateau $480.00 for coming to the venue early and cake plates and forks. I spoke with Leon who became loud with me and argumentative. Leon lied and stated that we did not have permission to enter the chapel or the reception area. He also lied in saying that the venue provided cake plates and forks (we have proof that we provided our own). I reminded him that he told us that we could come early and that his employee also helped us set things up while we were there. Leon also accused us of having a full rehearsal in the chapel which was also untrue. We were robbed of a full rehearsal which had a negative impact on our ceremony. I also pointed out to Leon that none of these charges were presented to us until after we requested our refund (almost two months after the wedding). I am beyond disappointed with the way this has been handled and it's evident that these false charges are an attempt to deter us from the refund promised. It is very sneaky, under handed, and unbelievable that Leon would go through such great lengths to avoid doing the right thing. read more

I had my wedding there Sept. 28, 2014 and I must say this was the best experience I have ever had. The staff was great and my coordinator Janie was amazing. She accommodated me with any changes I needed to make and keep me abreast on scheduling for and food tastings and all upcoming events happening at the venue.She was there for me throughout the entire process which keep my stress level low. The day of my wedding was great. Although, I was late getting ready things still ran smoothly. The chapel and reception areas are beautiful. My husband and I could not have asked for a more perfect day. If you are looking for a venue with great price, awesome food, and amazing baker this is the place. We used Tony for the food and it was the best. All of my guests complimented on how good the food was and even went back for seconds. My baker was Tiffani with Cake Couture, my cake my husbands was delicious. I would recommend this venue to anyone, Use Janie as your coordinator you won't regret it!!!! read more

The Spring Chateau is a Beautiful place, they do great upkeep on the place.(Although its not my first choice, the outside street view is a little sketchy, makes up for it on the beautiful inside and chapel-gazebo area) I ran into a few problems with them along the way. They are NOT very good and responding back to anything, I had to call many times to even get a receipt for my payments. They provided me with 2 Wedding Coordinators. The First one Stephanie, got into some complications with the Spring Chateau and no longer was my coordinator, I only found out when I stopped by to talk about my payments, (which they made me over pay, but thankfully it was resolved) 3 weeks before my wedding. The next coordinator was a god send, she helped out so much and did things that the other coordinator said was my job. In the end I had a stress free wedding. The Food was great! The busboys are like vultures, swooping in and grabbing glasses (full!) and dumping them out as soon as the are set on the table! what a waste! The Bartender wasnt so good, or maybe an newby? we ran out of liquor before 9pm when drinks only started getting served at 7ish. That happens when you use beer glasses instead of 8oz tumblers. I had my wedding and reception at Spring Chateau, October 10th 2014 and although I was weary at first because of the bad reviews I had read about this venue. I figured I would forget what I had read and no matter what was going to happen this was going to be MY wedding day. Let me begin by saying my wedding coordinator was Janie Lopez and from the very first time I had met here when visiting the venue for the first time to the day of my wedding SHE WAS AMAZING! She was very informative, and helped me with everything and all of my questions, she made my day run as smoothly as it possibly could. From the rehearsal, to the ceremony to the reception after. She decorated the reception exactly to my standards and listened very well when I explained to her my vision of what I was looking for!! Everything turned out beautiful. She also addressed my concerns are worries right as they came up. Everything was perfect, and I would recommend anyone looking for a venue to check this one out, I cant express enough how perfect and unforgettable it was, not to mention the venues food was OUTSTANDING, best in house catering we have ever had!
