Skate Champions - Carpet that glows under black lights

Skate Champions

I skate at Skate Champions all the time, and it's honestly amazing. The workers are helpful,…read morefriendly, and actually care about keeping everyone safe and having fun--something clearly lost on the people leaving these ridiculous reviews. Rules like dress code, speed limits, or skate rentals exist for a reason, yet some people act like being asked to follow them is a personal attack. Complaints about math, music, hats, cards, gifts, or minor policy inconsistencies are pathetic and blown way out of proportion. Teens working the floor? Adult managers supervise, and the staff I know are trustworthy and hardworking--so stop inventing scandals. Anyone who actually spends time here knows it's fun, organized, and welcoming, while the haters sit online whining about things that literally don't matter. Get over it and enjoy life. 5 stars all day. And people COMPLAIN about internet like just step outside. Idiots.

I mean, it's the only one of its kind in the area from what I can tell. There's literally 1 kiddo…read moreworking the concession stand on school skate nights and the line is never less than a dozen people for 2 hours straight. I like that soda refills are only a buck. My man gripe is the cell reception sucks here so it'd be nice to have some WiFi which is not the case. So you're essentially riding blind. But I guess that's good? Focus on social interaction and not your phone. $12 entry fee now instead and of $10 last year. And also there's no discount for bringing your own skates.

Lone Star Parties - Foam Party at a night club

Very disappointed in this company. I had a large inflatable scheduled for my son's birthday part…read moreand they were almost 2 hours late showing up. By the time they did arrive, the party was more than half way over so we sent them away. There just wasn't any point in having them set it up since the kids would've been able to jump for maybe 30 minutes and then it would have been time to break everything down. I have not received any response from the owner regarding the refund of my deposit or even so much as an apology. My son, meanwhile, is extremely disappointed that he wasn't able to have his inflatable.

Second visit was even better than the first!…read more We asked the kids when we were leaving what their favorite part was and neither could come up with just one. As for us grandmas, our favorite part was watching the kids have such a great time and being able to let them free to be kids. Seriously- from drawing on walls to virtually reality ax throwing tic-tac-toe there is a new adventure behind every door. I

"uhh I've been to Disney, what is... *this*" But as it turns out, 7 year olds aren't necessarily as cynical was 40-somethings and he had a really great time here. I wasn't really sure what to expect, so for those curious, here's what you can expect if you follow our plan to pretty much just try and check out everything they have to offer: -Take pictures with a bunch of animatronic dinosaurs -Ride mechanical dinosaurs (think mechanical bull for kids) -Ride electronic dinosaurs that drive around like slow go-karts -5 minute train ride around the park (better for littles) -Play in 2 bounce houses -Visit a room basically made out of dry erase boards with 1,000 dry erase markers and go crazy. -Look for dinosaur bones in a sandbox -Watch a 10-ish minute show (it's pretty low budget, but littles will enjoy) -Play a shooting game on a big projection screen. -Axe throwing (not working right when we visited) -A virtual reality ride that's a bit outdated, but probably cool for kids. -Play in another sandbox with cool overhead lighting to make it look like a mountain -There was another game on a projection screen that was supposed to be triggered by your movement, but it was also not working right. -Indoor playground There was also another activity that required additional money that we did not participate in. Our son really thought it was a great day, so I'm happy we came.
