From our initial meeting to view the venue, to discussing contest details, making selections on options and every other step, the team at Batres made what we feared would be a stressful process easy and smooth. They package services with quality vendors and allow installment payments which made payments easy. The venue is beautiful. The staff were professional, polite and helpful. The owner was responsive to questions and potential concerns. The event coordinators helped us incorporate our own personal touches to make the experience unique and personalized to us. My husband, Daniel, and I had our wedding on November 23,2024. From the moment we booked Batres Grand Venue the staff was very attentive. Maggie and Marisol were very detailed and attentive to all our wants and needs. They made sure to follow up as well as give profesional advice to make everything smooth through out the year of us planning. As a bride finding a venue that included all the vendors made the wedding planning stress free. The day of the actual reception the whole staff made sure to constantly check on us and made sure we weren't with out food or beverage. The Dj Coordinator Jay made sure to have a great variety of music that everybody enjoyed. Controlling the crowd very well, keeping the atmosphere fun. Mario the bartender, gave great suggestions on drinks to help make the perfect bar menu for our guests. Venue Review My wedding was December 3rd at Batres Grand Venue and I am beyond pleased with this venue and how easy and stress free they made this whole process for me. I booked my date in February of this year and I chose the platinum package which includes everything! I seriously felt like I checked myself into a 5 star resort with this package, lol. The vendors that were provided with my package were amazing! What was included: 6 1/2 hours, Dinner for 250 guest, 5 tiered cake, Bar Tending Services, Photo Booth, Video and Photography, DJ, Waiters, Parking attendants (not valet), all table linens (all colors), table decor, security, I was able to bring my own liquor and beer. Maggie, the wedding coordinator, was on top of every single detail! She would respond to my weekly messages throughout the process and helped me with the whole process. In-house coordinators are beyond disorganized and rude, dismissive to your invitees. Keep your eyes open when it comes to payments, food, and bartending. I am one to leave great reviews even after having a bad service. However, the staff of this place and their lies is a run and look for another venue instead. I was recently a guest at a wedding here and I was so impressed that I wanted to leave a review. First of all the venue is absolutely stunning, it has multiple chandeliers and a spiral staircase. The food was delicious, the music was the best and the cake was not only beautiful but very tasty too. The service was above par, I'll definitely keep this venue in mind for future events. read more

Recently attended an event at this venue. It was 40 degrees for hours before the place got to a decent temperature. Staff member stated "It will warm up as soon as people come in." The temperature outside was cold and raining. Tables and chairs were so crowded no room to eat at the table. Staff and bartenders rude. Would not attend another event at this facility. read more

We had our daughters Sweet Sixteen yesterday started planning late. Booked Batres gold package in September at an open house. Met with the owner Elia and Maggie our event coordinator. Signed the contract and everything flowed smoothly. Maggie guided us through the entire process making it turn out to be a most memorable elegant event. Several caterers for the food and cake were provided. Maggie set up dates to sample and choose. Her wait staff and bartender were polite and accommodating. Everything was on task dj ,toast, cake, even the late night menudo. We even had a last minute request for sweet sixteen led lights which they went above and beyond the Friday before the event getting them. We received so many compliments throughout the night for the how elegant the Venue was and food cake were excellent. I had my baby shower party here in January, and it was amazing! I absolutely loved working with the owner and her assistant. She met with me a few times to go over the linens and centerpieces and anything that we needed. I wasn't expecting to do all that planning because baby showers are typically not as extravagant. However, thanks to my mother-in-law and mom, I had a great turnout and we received lots of compliments on the venue. If I could give them 0 stars I would! This place is a scam! Do not.. I repeat DO NOT waste your time or your hard earned money at this place. The owner Elia and her assistant Margarita are very unprofessional they try to sell you a venue and after they take your money they could careless about what an how things go. I was given the run around just to schedule a appointment to discuss decorations for my wedding. Once we FINALLY schedule a appointment for the food tasting she tells me that she'll have everything ready for me to see upon our next appointment (LIES) we get there and absolutely NOTHING is done as discussed; no tables set how discussed, no ceremony set up for us to see! The owner Elia left IMMEDIATELY after my fiance made our payment and out of the blue had to take her daughter to a doctor's appointment(at 7:30 pm). She then leaves her uneducated and unprofessional assistant who doesn't know anything about what was discussed to continue the food tasting which was HORRIBLE!! oh and to add we were then accused of being late (reason to why nothing was done as discussed) but we had text messages of her confirming our appointment and time!! They will try to make it look worth your money with the different packages and once you've been contracted in everything is an additional charge we had the gold package which is suppose to include everything but still end up paying extra money for other stuff that's suppose to be included. This venue is all lies! They make everything look good, pretty for you to put yoyr deposit down, start paying. Once completed payment is done in cash. They change your set up of what paid for. Tell you that it's not included, nickel, dime you for every extra that didn't come with your setup. Then between the owner, Margaretta they play hide, seek who to talk to. In their contracts there is no refund once you give them your money. But, they want you to sign upfront. Don't believe the pics, setup! It's a scheme for your hard earn money. We picked this place because it is very beautiful, but the owner had her assistant go over the contract and she did not explain our package correctly. We then had the owner create a new contract which we signed again with all of the cost added onto it. We were told that things were included with our package but 4 days before my wedding she remade a 3rd contract because she claimed she did not explain it correctly. We had the idea that the centerpieces were included and also the the king and queen chairs. We did not find out that the hairs weren't included until the day of my wedding. She falsely sold us the venue under the impression that the "VIP" room was included. But instead the bridal dressing room was in the storage/ bathroom and it was very hot. Even though we told her we wanted gold on the tables when we came in she had her workers setting out silver runners and had to redo the tables. We discussed how we wanted our tables set up and that we also wanted tall bar tables, she printed out the seating chart for the tables and on the day of the wedding the bar tables were never put out. Towards then end of the night we needed more trash bags and she was hesitant to give us more so we could change out the trash. When we came for our deposit which we had to keep asking her about for a week, she took out 50 dollars because she forgot to add it to the final payment. This owner needs to train her assistant if she will be having her explain the contract so that there is no confusion and false advertising. We wanted the venue because of what we were sold during our first meeting, but had to keep the venue because we had no time to look for another because of the last minute changes. read more
